It's a lovely property in a great location!The pictures on the posting are dated and should be updated because the interior was better looking than the pictures. The only room that looked like the photo was the game room. The pool table is run down. Now to the not so good stuff. We paid to have the pool heated 24 hours prior to checking in (200 USD). When we arrived (Saturday) it wasn't heated. It wasn't even warm. We waited until the next day to call the property manager (emergency number where you leave a message and they return your call since it was the weekend). We read the book that gives an overview of the property and were aware of certain things like the pool only being heated for 12 hours a day. When the property manager called back she gave me the overall pool run-down (basically repeating what I said in the voicemail) but said she would send someone out. When the man came he tested the water and confirmed it wasn't heating properly. The owner then confirmed that the maintenance man would come the next day (Monday). The thing is, the hottub and the pool are on the same heating system. So if you want the hot tub hot, you HAVE to pay for the heated option. So the maintenance man came and "fixed" it but it still wasn't properly heated. The hot tub was warm. It never got hot. We didn't bother calling back. Overall, we would stay again. The pool heating just needs to be corrected. It really is a great property.

Property is Very Misleading and the Owner does not communicate once you check in

I REALLY wish I could leave photos as part of my review. I booked this property as a first time Christmas getaway for myself and my family which after showing everyone pictures of the property everyone was excited!! The excitement ended once we checked in because the pictures and the property look nothing alike. Leading up to the check in process the owner communicated well and all of my questions were addressed ; however after check in the communication stopped and only one problem was addressed and that was the broken oven door which literally fell off the hinges after one use. That was actually addressed the following day even though I mentioned I needed the oven to cook Christmas Day. When we checked in we had to reclean the bathrooms because they were dirty which leads to the overall review of the cleanliness of the property. The carpet is ridiculously dirty as well as the walls. There was trash left under the dressers and the beds, the couches were worn and stained. We paid an additional fee for the pool to be heated and it was not heated. When I contacted the owner he was not responding to my issues BUT as soon as the property manager (whom has a personality that doesn’t belong in a hospitality setting) contacted him immediately after fixing the oven to inform him that we had our Yorkie in the house he suddenly was able to communicate again. The listing has NOTHING stating pets are not allowed. After we got his attention we went back and forth via email about the issues and because of his lack of concern the conversations got heated so he directed me to only communicate with VRBO whom informed me they could do nothing more than remove the listing from their site.... Save your money if you’re thinking about renting this property. It’s a rental property that they clearly don’t invest in!!! The neighborhood itself is nice so it was good for our daily walks. That’s the only pro I can pull from this property full of CONS.

Florida Vacay

This is a beautiful home in a quiet suburb of Davenport. The bedrooms were spacious with 2 of the large bedrooms having doors to the pool area. The other door to the pool area is off of the family room. Plenty of pots, pans, and cooking utensils in the kitchen. The only negatives were the remotes for the TVs were a bit confusing, and the grill had not been cleaned after the previous renter. All and all, we would definitely come back to this home next time we're in Floreida.

Wonderful!!

This home was very clean and close to Disney Parks. The owner was great!! He is very prompt with answering questions. Having a pool and hot tub was nice to come home to after a long day at the parks! We loved having a Keurig coffee maker in the kitchen which allowed us to have individual specialized coffee!! We had a group of 12 adults and it was the perfect size!! We would definitely rent this home again!!!

Disney Vacation

Our family of 5 adults and 4 children stayed in this very spacious home for our Disney vacation. Plenty of space, close to the Theme Parks, pool was very nice and my son-in-laws were able to walk over to the golf course for early tee times. We had some air conditioning issues that the Management Company was quick in responding to. We would rent here again.

We were happy with our stay overall. There were a few hiccups along the way such as a toilet and tub that didn’t Drain properly and a broken toilet handle and internet that was spotty at first. However the owner was very responsive to the issue when contacted after the management company had already been out once and didn’t exactly get on it as they should have. The management company and cleaning service used could use a talking to about their work and what hey should be doing better there were crumbs left and the garage was a bit of a mess like they didn’t check it after the previous guests had left. As any home that has many guests the house could use some updating in carpeting and furniture that has become a bit worn. However it had enough rooms for the people staying the kitchen was well enough prepared (please take a look at the dishes all miss matches and some “kids ware” that probably should be tossed). The hot tub and pool were fantastic to have at our leisure and the distance from major attractions and shops was well within reach and convenient. The price was very affordable and we would stay again.

Family holiday 2019

Very comfy,homely villa. Pool area was fantastic,great outlook and plenty of sun! Great location. Easy walk to supermarket, restaurants and pubs. Couple of tired areas, stain on carpet and a few torn panels on the lanai but nothing too bad. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect space for our family

The Haldanes home was perfect for our family with our adult size kids! The pool was gorgeous and the floor plan allowed for everyone to have the privacy they needed but gave us space to hang out together and eat meals as a family! Great location to Disney and attractions but nice quiet neighborhood. The dryer wasn’t drying but the property manager had a new one installed by the end of the week. Suited our needs well and if we vaca in Orlando again we wouldn’t hesitate to book again! Amy Mead

Hugely Disappointed and Feel Disillusioned

Positives; Location is fantastic and the owner initially is very responsive to questions, I had lots of random questions (internet speeds / additional guests) all very accommodating in terms of response. Negatives; The villa doesn’t really sleep 12, two of the ‘beds” belong to a sofa bed with huge parts of the fabric missing, I would suggest not comfortable for any length of time, it doesn't even look welcoming. The upstairs bedroom doesn’t have a door and gets exceptionally hot, you can have the air con on but it sounds like a small aircraft. The villa needs money spent on it, the carpets are stained in places (understandable) the toaster (for a villa that sleeps twelve) only works one side, in places the villa is plain dirty, large cobwebs with bugs in them in the lounge (the management company tell me that they don’t have enough time to deep clean) - I couldn’t care less a clean villa shouldn’t be a “special treat”. Food left all over the pool table from the previous occupants, the hairdryer was missing as was one of the TV’s (resolved following engagement with the owner and management company). The pool filtration system exploded the day after pool maintenance and we had to deal with the jacuzzi flooding the outside of the property and liaise with the neighbour of the property and management company. The last thing and most important to note was a bug infestation. On arrival there was a collection of unidentifiable Bugs in one of the children’s / twin rooms, they were pooled around the lamp in between the beds, they appeared dead. Nonetheless I sprayed a tin of raid and closed the door. The management company confirmed (when they did come out) that they didn’t know what the bugs were and wouldn’t be able to do anything till the Monday as the gentleman couldn’t lift anything ?!- the management company came out (whilst I was out) couple days later and when we came home the bugs were gone, the dead “bodies” all hoovered (there appeared to be a collection along the skirting board under the beds) - the owner promised me that he pays for inside and outside bug protection.....My son returned to the room and a couple of days later to my horror they were back and crawling in his bed !! My second mail to the owner advising that the bugs had returned ( not quite as many) but wanting to know what my son was exposed to has remained unanswered (let alone what chemicals the bug people used). I guess the owner has had the money!

we booked this villa because of the games room we had to clear it out as it was filthy but could not use the pool table as there was no cues the dart board had no darts having 2 teenagers there it was dissapointing pool was cold but sorted quickly and the air con broke was also sorted quickly overall not good stayed in better in orlando

Great Disney Vacation for Large Family

Amazing house to stay at where the owner was very accommodating. The house was close to resturaunts and shopping. About 25 mins from Disney with the morning rush, but worth the drive for everyone to stay at one nice house.

Great space for a large family getaway!

Our entire family of 10 (kids, grandparents, cousins, etc...) spent a week here for a family vacation. The layout was great! The bedrooms were very spread out and the common area is very open & comfortable. We spent most of our time there in the pool and on the covered patio. There are neighbors on either side but the entire week we were out there we didn't see any other people at the neighbors pools. The golf course abuts from the back creating a pretty back drop. The clubhouse & first hole are a stones throw from the house. The pool area had sun from 10 am until 8 pm which we loved!! The house was nice. Not fancy, but well kept and a great space for the money. It was nice to have the game room though we didn't use it as much as we thought because we spent so much time in the pool/patio area. The master bathrooms were large. The "kids" bathroom was average sized. All of the bedrooms have TV's which we appreciated. We also appreciated having laundry on site and even played a few games on the Wii. The house was .6 miles from a shopping plaza which had a grocery store, 2 restaurants, liquor store, gas station and more. It was very convenient. The community pool, playground & tennis courts were a nice addition, though with our trips to the parks and time at the pool we just didn't have time to use them. They are a very quick walk (2 minutes) from the house. We decided to spend our park days at Universal for this trip. Universal is a bit longer of a drive from the house than Disney (40-50 minutes to Universal depending on traffic, Disney was 20-30 minutes). We used our Maps app to show us the fastest route based on traffic and the driving was easy. Still even given the slightly longer drive time, we would not have changed a thing. This house was perfect for our trip! Thanks, Craig for sharing your property with us!!!

Absolutely fantastic!

From the moment we walked into the house, we were in love. The pool area was our favorite place to be, whether eating breakfast by the pool or actually swimming in the pool. We truly did not want to leave. Thank you for everything & we will most definitely be back!

Fantastic !!

We stayed here with our family it was such a fantastic and spacious home. We especially liked the size of the house and the wonderful pool area ! The home is obviously well cared for and the owner Craig could not do enough for us. Thanks Craig we will be back soon !!!

Very nice

Our family of 6 adults and 5 children felt this was an excellent house for us while we visited Disney. We wish we had scheduled an off day so we could be in the house more. The pool was wonderful but it was quite chilly the week we were there so we couldn't use it. Paying to heat was not an option since we wouldn't have had time to use it much anyway. The bedrooms were around the main living area so that allowed a little more privacy. However, the upstairs bedroom had no door or bathroom. Every sound went up the steps and a light in the kitchen (which had no switch to turn off) caused there to always be light there. The beds were comfortable. The garage had a pool table and ping pong table which the kids were excited about initially but we really weren't there much for them to play. They did play with the Wii while waiting on the rest of us. When we arrived we weren't sure housekeeping had finished as there was bedding on the floor of the main bedroom. We just put that in the closet. There was a stool at the bar that was dangerously loose so we moved that to the garage so no one would get hurt. I fault the management company for those two things. All in all this was a great home and we were very pleased with the quiet residential neighborhood.

Property not as it seemed from photos or review. Numerous issues.

First of all, the owner was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. However, he lives in the UK so there is only so much he can do for you remotely. When we arrived, one of the smoke detectors was beeping. It took a while to get someone from the management company to come fix this as it was Thanksgiving day. There were a number of issues and oddities with the property. We paid for pool heat, but the heater was broken. The owner did refund the fee for us after the fact. It was quite disappointing though as this was one of the reasons we chose this property. The jacuzzi would not stay full of water, but I guess it didn't matter since the heat was broken. Additionally there were large tears and holes in the screens around the pool. It was quite unsightly and allowed in bugs and even a bird. Although the kitchen was stocked with basic pots & pans, silverware, dishes etc, the house did not have basic supplies like garbage bags, tissue, toilet paper, dish soap or any toiletries. The "5th bedroom" does not have a door. Stairs lead up to more of a loft area/den but there is no door and no bathroom up there. So really I would say this is a 4 bedroom property with an additional space upstairs (there is a bed up there). The floors were quite filthy. After just a few minutes of our baby crawling around, his knees, hands and feet were black. And I don't mean the place just needs a good vacuum...it needs a deep clean, especially the carpets. The whole place is in need of TLC...paint for example, blinds that are in disrepair, shower heads covered in grime and mold. We were told there were baby supplies like a high chair, but this was extremely filthy and sitting in the garage (which doubles as the game room). The pack 'n play was also very dirty. We ended up holding our baby on our lap for every meal. The previous renters left a lot of garbage in the can outside, leaving no room for us to take our garbage out. Garbage pick-up is only 1x/week. The owner said it was not the usual cleaning crew for our stay because we arrived on Thanksgiving, but that does not explain all of this nor does it make it "ok". It is not our fault the normal cleaning crew didn't come in so we shouldn't have to suffer the consequences. The reviews online seemed great, but things are not always as they seem. The guest book sitting out in the house details many of the same issues we had, including the pool heater issue. Renter beware.
