Gallows Point Suite 9C es realmente una escapada romántica perfecta para recién casados y amantes. Nice stay in St John

The unit is nicely appointed and accurately described. The location is convenient as it is a short walk to Cruz Bay. The view is lovely. The store is well stocked and it was easy to rent a car on site. Transportation to/from ferry is quick and convenient. The unit was stifling hot when we arrived but cooled down pretty quickly; it would be nice if the resort would turn on the AC when guests are expected. There is only one towel bar in the bathroom; additional hooks to hang bath and pool towels would nice. Finding a pitcher of cold water in the refrigerator was most welcome. The sun shining in and the peacock calls will wake you up early but the structure of the unit keeps direct sunlight from shining directly into the loft. There are a lot of stairs - from the lobby to the walkway, up to the second floor unit, and up to the loft bedroom. The lights that illuminate the outside stairs were not working. The booming bass from the music pouring out of the bars in Cruz Bay (The Beach Bar and Drink St John) can be heard in the unit at night - even with the windows closed and AC and TV on - it must be quite loud at the other units at Gallows Point overlooking the bay.

The nicest place to stay in Cruz Bay

After 2 weeks in the BVIs/St John we ended our trip with a glorious few days at Gallows Point. Loved the pool, the floating dock, the gym, the peace & quiet, how close you are to town / can walk. Only thing missing was some pool side drinks but maybe they have that during the high season.

perfect location if you want to walk to town

My wife and I stayed for five nights, we loved the location , you can walk to town in less than five minutes, a small hill to climb on your walk back, but pretty easy if you are fit,,, the views are awesome. The restaurant is over priced, I don't recommend it,, except for not having in unit laundry the place is terrific , there is common laundry you can use. The snorkeling right off the pool deck is great . No need ot rent a car unless you want to explore the Island. We will come back here soon . Expensive but worth it .

15 Year Anniversary Bliss

As a VRBO property owner, it’s always nice to be fortunate enough to rent a place that is on par with how you maintain your property. Richard’s condo was incredible, from the views to the service, the great proximity to town where we could walk to every night for dinner and need I say easy driving to amazing beaches. Highly recommend this place and will absolutely come back again.

I would have to say that the accomodations and location far exceeded our expectations! If you are considering a visit to St. John, I wouldnt suggest that you stay anywhere else. We will absolutely be back!

Exceeded expectations!

We loved Gallows Point! The location was unexpectedly convenient and we loved being so close to town. The staff at gallows was so courteous and helpful, and the little market on site had everything we needed. Ocean 362 was delicious and what an incredible sunset view! We will be back.

Amazing

I have traveled a lot in the Caribbean but this place was truly outstanding. The sunset view from this condo made it difficult to go out to dinner during my stay.

Not the unit I booked!

Although the unit we were put in was nice, I had looked at all the units on property and chose the one we did because of proximity to pool and ocean access. When we questioned the front desk upon placement they said the property owner does the placement and moving and they could not put us in the correct unit. It was not the unit we booked.

Gallows Point, St. John

We thoroughly enjoyed Richard's unit at Gallows Point and loved St. John. The property is very conveniently located to Cruz Bay with plenty of dining options. The view from our unit was incredible, as was the view from the pool area. The unit had everything we needed in the kitchen (we had breakfast there and made lunches a couple of times to take with us when we hiked). The grounds are beautiful at Gallows Point, with iguanas and peacocks everywhere. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The store on property has plenty of things that you might need to eat and drink. You can also visit the grocery store in Cruz Bay for more options as well. Arranging the trip with Richard was a very smooth process. He promptly returned my inital phone call and follow-up emails were also returned in a very timely manner. Highly recommend!
