Check In was difficult, I messaged the host a couple of times prior to arrival for a code to the door with no response and then had to call with no service, and wait on hold for several minutes. The cabin was clean and welcoming. Very quiet and peaceful there. We saw deer in the mornings while drinking coffee and my son learned to fish in the little catch & release pond . A great location to unplug.

Peaceful Getaway!

We enjoyed our peaceful getaway at your cabin. We did drive around some and hiked Stone Mountain one day. Mostly, we relaxed and enjoyed God's beautiful creation. lt's so peaceful here and we loved sitting on the porch (a hummingbird visited) and at the fire ring listening to the night noises. The crickets were singing and a toad was croaking in the pond. Thank you for your hospitality and for sharing your wonderful family history and reclaimed cabin with us!Crawfordville, FLP.S.Temps are already falling! Love that! Low in the 40s tomorrow (9/1)!

Perfect getaway

I found this place by chance online, my son and l stayed for 4 days and loved it. We fished, hiked around, was greeted almost every morning by the deer. Quiet, remote if you are looking for a great place to bring a family closer to chat, pay games, and enjoy each others company this is it!We will be booking again!

Last Minute Road trip

Decided to take a last minute road trip with my grandson to visit some family in the area. Home was very quiet an perfect for our stay. More beds than I was expecting . I will keep this in my list of homes to book again in the future.

Family time

It was the perfect place for my two sons and the wives, I live in Ennice but my house was to small to host twelve people so we decided to rent a place, this was close, beautiful and very comfortable, a perfect spot, will keep this close for future visits

A lovely, peaceful place to spend a weekend.

Despite arriving at the cabin on the heels of Hurricane Helene, we found the cabin in great condition. It was exactly what my friends and I needed to reconnect and unwind. It's peaceful and private, and the cabin has everything you need. The personal welcome and history of the cabin written by the owner was a great touch and added richness to our stay. I would absolutely love to stay here again in the future.

The Cabin of Disappointment

From online pictures you think its a paradise. In reality its the 7th layer of he'll. There were mouse droppings in every cabinet of the kitchen. The coffee station cabinets had an actual mouse nest. After 3 days of customer service they finally sent a cleaning crew. The cleaning crew told me its like this all the time because the owner won't do anything for the pests. Its a total disappointment. Also don't believe the photos they are edited it make the place appear cleaner and new than it really is. Overall avoid this place unless you like spending over $100.00 USD a night with mice.

Stay in the cabin

The stay was very good, our kids loved sleeping in the loft. We enjoyed unplugging from the world. The cabin was close to the area where my parents lived so it was very convenient to visit them while having our own space. The only thing that was a bit disappointing we weren’t able to get fish that’s in the pond to bite anything. We tried bread, hotdog, different fishing lure, but nothing was biting. The fish was there we saw it, it’s just wasn’t biting. Aside from that the cabin was nice and cozy and we enjoyed reading history of the cabin.

Very peaceful and relaxing

It was very peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay. We felt right at home. The only thing that was negative was the fishing pond because we didn't see any fish but everything else was great!

Remote and Very Nice

We loved the cabin! Very cool and remote. Rave reviews for the cabin and location. The cabin is decorated nicely and lots of memorabilia from the era. We fished the Mitchell and Stone Mountain with just a short drive. Check out process was easy, but could be a little easier to find details and clarity regarding to what to do with linens and trash. The fishing pond doesn't appear to have catchable fish.... or maybe we didn't offer them anything interesting. Thanks! We would recommend this cabin to friends and family!
