Beautiful and charming home away from home!

We truly enjoyed our two week stay in this historic charmer. The Downtown Hollywood location was perfect for site-seeing and dinners in really great restaurants. The house was so homey and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Craig, the home's owner, was very friendly and helpful and worked hard to ensure we had the perfect visit. I recommend this home to anyone traveling to LA and looking for a comfortable home in the absolute perfect location. We will be back!

I absolutely loved hosting Robert, Jennifer and their Daughter, such a pleasant family! Kind courteous, friendly, great communicators and extremely respectful of my home. They put me at ease immediately as I could tell from the moment I met them, they were well travelled and like minded home owners themselves. Wonderful experience

Craig was a great host and made sure our family had everything we needed during our stay. The home is perfect and the neighborhood was safe and secure. The house is very neat and clean and the outdoor spaces where very relaxing. Craig is all things LA...where to eat, where to shop and where to get good coffee. Andrew, His Wife, and Daughter were fantastic guests!!! I struck Gold with this down to earth family, such good souls. They treated my property like their own home. They were Clean, Courteous, friendly, easy to communicate with and they went beyond the average traveler to take extra care of my home. I feel like there are some guests Like the Walsh Family, that put a host at ease the moment you meet them, I certainly felt this from The Walsh's. Perfect location and delightful host

We stayed at Craig’s comfortably outfitted craftsman's bungalow with our two teens. We found the neighborhood to be clean and safe, but appreciated the privacy of the locked front gate and private yard. Craig provided our family with a list of suggested activities and restaurants in the area that was very helpful. All of his suggestions were spot on! We particularly liked leaving our car at home and walking to nearby restaurants. This home was also well located to easily access everything from Santa Monica to downtown LA, north to Universal Studios and South to Anaheim. Our family had a wonderful vacation in a comfortable home whose host was clearly concerned about our enjoyment and comfort.

Hollywood Getaway

My husband and I spent 5 days at Craig's home while visiting our son who lives in the neighborhood. Everything is just as pictured and described on the site--very homey and comfortable. Though we didn't cook, everything is provided for doing so. The location is perfect--away from the noise of Hollywood Boulevard but close enough to walk anywhere in the area. It's a very safe area with no qualms about walking around at night. We're looking forward to our next trip!

Awesome host - great place to stay

We’re a family of four that are used to travelling all over the place. Craig was an awesome host. His home is very cozy and very close to a lot of LA must-see spots. Highly recommended - we were sad to have to leave. Hope to be back in the future.

Great home and location

We travel to Los Angeles to go to the Children’s Hospital a few times a year and we always stay here. It is close to everything and the home is very clean. Most importantly Craig is easy to work with and goes out of his way to make sure we have all that we need for our visits. That is not a common trait for many property owners or agencies. When we go back to LA again this is where we will be staying.

Perfect home away from home!

We had an excellent week-long stay at Craig’s house in Hollywood this summer. The location was perfect for us—a quiet street but just a few blocks from dining and shops, and centrally located in relation to other neighborhoods. The house itself was very charming, comfortable, and inviting, with very nice furnishings, and both the front and back yards are landscaped into beautiful completely private courtyards. The kitchen had absolutely everything you might need to prepare meals, and all the appliances worked perfectly. Also, the communication with Craig before and during the stay was great—he was very warm, and thoughtful about all the details. He took time at the start to show us how everything worked and go over the systems. For us, the best part of the house was the level of relaxation it invokes—right in the heart of LA! We arrived really needing a break from our hectic daily lives and left feeling completely re-charged. Highly recommend this home!!

Wonderful Stay

Craig's house made a perfect home-away-from-home for my wife and I and our 2 small children while in Hollywood for a week for a family wedding. It's an old but charming house, with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Feels like a quiet neighborhood (with a nice little playground across the street) but is just minutes walk from all the sights and restaurants and anything you would possibly need. Craig was very helpful with recommendations for things to eat/drink/see in the area, and super accessible and easy to communicate with leading up to and during the say. Would definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in LA and would recommend the property to others. And my wife would be upset if I didn't mention his recommendation of Philz coffee which may be her favorite coffee ever!

Secluded oasis in Hollywood

Stayed at Craig’s house for New Years and Rose Bowl. Wonderful place with privacy in bustling Hollywood. Easy walk to Chinese theatre and tons of neat bars and restaurants. Craig was very helpful in his tips and recommended spots in the area -(all walking). Very hands on and engaged owner who would have been on top of any issue- but there were none! Came with spouse and two college aged kids and everyone found something that fit what they wanted to do. Thanks again
