This was, by far, or favorite VRBO we have used. The hosts are awesome! The kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean, and they even left snacks and coffee for us!

Well equipped stay close to the lake

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked. The outdoor seating area was nice, the basement playroom was fun and this location was great for exploring

The host was very attentive. Everything needed was provided. The beds are big and comfy. There was 6 of us and the house had plenty of space. Game room, big living area, hot tub and a nice firepit. So relaxing...

It was one of the easiest check, ins, and checkout we’ve ever had at a VRBO. The host were so accommodating with information even texting us the weather forecast for the time we’re gonna be there. They are well supplied with whatever you could even think to need.We had a delightful stay for our family reunion. And would highly recommend this property.

Peaceful Getaway for Family Weekend

It was so easy to check in and the Host was so helpful with everything. Good communication about each step of the process. I felt they were very attentive to our needs. Nice and clean. Only problem was with sunk in living room - one of the girls fell as she wasn’t expecting the drop(she was fine though) - maybe a small reminder somewhere would be helpful even though you do mention it online in the description.

Great trip! Recommend for family or friends trip!

Great place! We stayed here for a long weekend last month and cannot wait to come back and stay again. Amenities were great. Everything was well laid out and easy to use. We enjoyed the games and toys in the basement, a day at the beach, a day in the lake with a pontoon boat and time in the hot tub and around the fire. Highly recommend staying here. We had 2 families of 4 fit perfect (6, 10, 10 & 11).

Beautiful home

2024 Total Solar Eclipse

What a wonderful home. My family stayed here for the weekend of the total Solar Eclipse in April 2024. The hosts were spectacularly welcoming and helpful to us throughout our stay. The house is ideal for a relaxing, fun getaway. We enjoyed the game room, watched a movie, cooked, hung out in the back yard, listened to music, had a fire, enjoyed the hot tub, and just had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!

Brookville lake

Booked our yearly family fishing trip to brookville lake. The house was really close to the boat ramp. Plenty space for parking( we had three full-size pickups and fishing kayaks hanging out the backs). The house had everything we needed to. Nice showers/bathrooms, comfy beds and one of the best recliners I’ve ever sat in. Stocked game room and large outdoor area was really fun to just hangout after fishing all day. Claudia and Hubert were just a phone call away for any questions we had and fast to respond. I hope this house is available for our next trip to the lake.

Gorgeous home

The property and house were wonderful. It's close to the lake and not too far from town. We ate at the Hilltop restaurant that was recommended in the welcome book. It did not disappoint. I wish we could have stayed longer so we could have enjoyed more of the amenities, like the game room. There was lots of birds to watch. We saw blue jays, cardinals, and even a woodpecker right outside the windows. We enjoyed hot chocolate by the fireplace. I can't wait to return in the summer. The hosts were easy to communicate with and even left us snacks.

Amazing time!

The property was everything we’d hoped for. The communication with the host was easy, clear & always helpful. We were a group of 6, 3 couples, 55+. Childhood friends who’ve all moved to different states now gather yearly for one of our birthdays. It was fantastic. Weather wasn’t perfect but we enjoyed all the games the house provided along with our own card games. Definitely would recommend & we plan to use this same home again!

You will not be Disappointed!

We have stayed at A LOT of rental places over the years due to travel, and we can honestly say this was the best house and experience we have ever had. The house is so clean, comfortable, and has any and EVERYTHING you could want or need to have an amazing time. They have thought about any and everything. We had such a great time we did not even turn on any of the televisions, the fire pit is an awesome touch along with the hot tub, the grill was great. We really can not say enough nice things, and to top it off the hosts are out of this world!!! Communication was top notch! We all agreed we will be back for a fun get away weekend!

Dear Claudia & Hubert, Thank you for sharing your Garr Hill home with us. It was perfect for our Indiana rendezvous with our family from California and grandparents from Texas. Our 17 m/o daughter loved the trampoline. She was safely & happily “confined” The kitchen was very well equipped. The hot tub was pristine. Fire pit burned easily and got lots of use. Game room was spectacular. Beds were comfortable. Linens were well supplied. Decorating was charming. Hubert even graciously offered to mail us a baby book we forgot and left behind. House was “Spic & Span” clean. Again, thank you for sharing your lovely “get-away”!

Great property with excellent hosts

Family of 5 looming for property close to Brookville lake for July4th. This property exceeded all expectations. Great communication from hosts, easy check in process, absolutely no "surprises" or other disappointments upon arrival and check in. Hosts are very gracious and thought of eveything for this property. Everything you need is here. The space was extremely clean and well kept with comfortable beds and lounging areas. We are a boating family and had our 21ft Sea Ray. Plenty of parking at property for boat and trailer. The Garr Hill boat ramp is on same street as house and made for great boat staging. All boat staging done in driveway and very short trip to launch (maybe 1 minute drive at most) and launch area was nice. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Absolutely no complaints and just the opposite; everything was perfect. Would absolutely stay again. Brookville lake was very nice also. Our first time there. Our family was mom and dad plus 3 kids ages 26, 20 and 17. Everyone enjoyed the space. Foosball, popcorn maker and all the games in gameroom big hit.
