***With the amazing view, there is a short steep section of driveway. It has flat parking and room to turn around at the top. It is paved with texture for good grip. We recommend AWD or cars with front wheel drive. Trucks without 4x4 are too light in the back to climb up.

***Self-managed = better customer service w/ 0% cancellations. "5 Star Stay Properties" is our company name & we work hard to live up to it!

Cabin is a 2-level with:
- King Bedroom & Full Bathroom (tub/shower) on the main floor
- King Bedroom & Full Bathroom (shower) upstairs
- Theatre with 75 inch streaming tv, Nintendo Classic, lots of movies & games. 2 Twin beds in basement

* Kitchen is fully stocked, including Keurig and regular coffee makers, blender, crock pot, instapot, griddle, rice cooker, mixer, pots and pans and cooking utensils. This kitchen has all you need to prepare meals, not just a bare minimum of equipment.

Beautiful view and helpful host

The cabin was in a perfect location and a had the most gorgeous view of pigeon forge! The host were wonderful with communicating with us with anything we needed to questions we had. The cabin was beautiful and very clean! I would recommend this to anyone wanting a getaway to the mountains!

Great visit!

The location is great for Pigeon Forge (we were so busy we never made it to Gatlinburg) and is very well kept and just as described. Laura was great to communicate with- very quick responses! Loved all the attention to detail in the cabin.

Clean and well stocked

Very nice cabin. Well stocked with essentials. Very clean. Comfy beds. All wheel drive is a MUST to make it up the driveway and good brakes to make it down. My family had a great stay!

"Clean, Comfy, & Well Stocked" is what we try for!! Thank you for letting us know you enjoyed your cabin :) Yes, we are careful to fully disclose the steep driveway - the nice thing is we have a road that is paved 2 lanes all the way up. There are a LOT of sketchy roads/areas and we have refused to buy cabins where we aren't comfortable driving ourselves.

Pigeon Forge Family Vacation

Everything about our stay in your cabin was PERFECT! Your Cabin met every need we had and was so comfortable. The location was perfect! We even got to watch the 4th of July Fireworks right from the Hot Tub. Every night we ended the evening in the Movie room. Highly recommend it for family vacations. 5 stars all around!

Amazing accommodations!

My family stayed here for our trip to Pigeon Forge to enjoy the local entertainment as well as to see The Great Smokey Mountains. We all loved the location and property. There was enough room for our family of six to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The theater room was great on a rainy night that kept us in. This was possibly the best VRBO I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. If you are lucky enough to stay here you wont regret it. Just make sure you have AWD for the steep driveway :)

Stay here!

We loved it. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Plenty of dishes, towels, and blankets. The theater was a big hit with the kids and the board games were a nice added bonus. Having laundry and a dishwasher is also very helpful and nice when traveling. Good view. Conveniently located. Would recommend this cabin for sure.

Beautiful Cabin in the Smokies!

We enjoyed Memorial Day weekend in the MaMa bear Cabin! The cabin was SPOTLESS!! Just like brand new! Beds are comfy, all the amenities, hot tub, grill and fire pit were enjoyed. The theater room was great and the teens loved it. It's a short distance to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg easy to find and well lit outside! The driveway is steep but very doable Owners answered quickly and are easy to communicate with! Thanks Laura!!

Great location

Our family really enjoyed their stay at your cabin. This was our first time to the Smoky Mountains and it definitely will not be our last. This cabin is in a convenient location. It has a gorgeous view of Pigeon Forge and is well maintained both inside and outside. Our family enjoyed the movie theater. We enjoyed watching movies and even routing on our Phillies in the playoffs. I highly recommend staying at this cabin. I promise that you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Laura for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin for our first time visiting the Smoky Moutains!!

Awesome property!

Had the pleasure of being the first to book this newly updated property. It’s hard to put all the positives in a short review. But, it’s very easy to put all the negatives…………. because there’s NONE. This place is awesome! The view is unbelievable, and possibly the only view like it in the area. Communication was great with the host, and everything about the property was as advertised. Will definitely try to book again in the future!

Romantic ambience.

This cabin was perfectly clean and thoughtfully set up. There were lots of extras like basic condiments and tinfoil and salt and pepper. Well stocked kitchen with a lovely welcome basket of snacks and treats. The best thing about this cabin was the private, six person hot tub on the deck with a gorgeous view of pigeon Forge. Next best was the theater room in the basement. We appreciated the super soft throws. Then it was the dining nook with picture window. The beds were super comfortable. Only downside is the super steep driveway which requires four-wheel-drive in all but perfectly dry conditions. I would love to stay here again and again.

Great cabin, but…

The cabin was great but it was a very difficult drive to reach the cabin. The pictures don’t really show you how steep the drive way actually is. (Just hard to tell, even in the pictures I took) We actually had to park at a different property and hike up to the cabin. If I had had older guest with me, we would not have been able to make it to the cabin. The host was great and made sure it was ok to park at the other cabin. Do not attempt this if you are uncomfortable driving up steep inclines and small roads. You certainly need a vehicle with some power and 4x4 /AWD if possible.

Perfect getaway

Wanted a weekend getaway to celebrate our family's milestones. This cabin exceeded our expectations. The layout was perfect for our tween to feel important in the upstairs king room, and our girls loved having their beds in the lower level. We all LOVED the movie theater, and of course, watched Top Gun Maverick (the sound system and Top Gun decor made it extra special). Very quick and easy access to Dollywood and Gatlinburg. The cabin has a new/modern feel with exposed wood touches. We used the fire pit for s'mores; grilled outside; very clean hot tub each morning with coffee; the overlook from the deck at night is beautiful with the city lights; in the morning, you can watch the fog roll across the mountains into the valley. The driveway is VERY steep, but we had no trouble in our expedition despite a little May rain (we are experienced snow/mountain drivers). Communication with Laura was quick; easy check-in and check-out. This cabin was the perfect quick getaway to celebrate our 18th anniversary and a medical milestone for our youngest daughter!

Your review warms my heart Jill. It sounds like you thoroughly loved your stay and that's what we want for our guests! Yes, the driveway is steep, but we now realize how lucky we are to have the nice, easy drive up the mountain until our short, steep drive as we've driven around other areas that I was not comfortable.

My God-given gifts are hospitality and service, so that has made hosting vacation homes such a perfect fit for me and our happy guests!!

I was born and raised on a farm in south-central Michigan, and am blessed to still live just 3.5 miles from the farm with my high-school sweetheart husband and 2 young boys. Before becoming a full-time mom, I had a successful 9-year career in technology sales.

As a family, we enjoy fishing, camping, hunting, baking, playing games and traveling in our free time.

We love our National Parks for the hiking, wildlife and amazing landscapes and enjoy the Great Smokey Mountains in TN, Yellowstone in Wyoming, the Florida Everglades, and Denali in Alaska.

Our favorite warm weather destination is Florida. We chose Kissimmee as our first vacation home location. It's ideally located to the most popular attractions and the resort we chose is known as the closest to Disney, but is very private.

We expanded to the Smoky Mountains late 2021 and have spent a LOT of time there renovating the cabins to be perfect for our guests! Our hearts are definitely in these mountains as we honeymoon'd there 20 years ago and find endless adventures to keep us coming back.

We've spent a good amount of time at our place and can make specific recommendations to help you get the most of your stay - see our guidebook.

We are happy to share our place with others, so they can create lasting memories just as we have. We feel there is no better way to spend our time and our money, but to create memories with the ones we love.

We were vacationing with our family and fell in love with this location and the view!!! Since we already had our Florida homes and wanted to expand to the Smoky's, it was a perfect match for us and we are happy to share it with our guests.

The best part of this cabin is that it's secluded yet close to all the activities and the park! We have a REAL theatre, 6 person hot tub and REAL restaurant booth - all with the amazing lighted Pigeon Forge strip. It's both relaxing & fun for the family to be together and make memories.
