About the home
“La Calma” is a delightful double-storey family home in San Remo just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs is Bedroom 1, which features a walk-in-robe and ensuite (with toilet & shower), Bedrooms 2 and 3 (each with BIR), a Bathroom (with bath & toilet) and Bedroom 4, which doubles as a multi-purpose room with a washing machine & sink, and provides access through to the enclosed rear yard and the double Garage. Upstairs is the huge open plan central Kitchen/Living/Dining room (with smart TV & sound bar) featuring fantastic water views, plus a small home office and access to the rear and large side balcony.
Outdoor Areas
The rear and side Balconies (with gas BBQ & seating for 6 people) each have stunning water views.The rear yard is fully enclosed and is perfect for children. There is also a swing under the rear balcony in the back yard and the rear bungalow is accessible to guests. The large double Garage provides parking for 2 cars with space for an additional 5 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) on the premises - either in front of the garage or behind a set of double gates on the opposite side of the property.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso Vertuo pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and induction cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the upstairs Living/Kitchen/Dining room, ceiling fans in bedrooms 1, 2 and 3, wall mounted electric heating in all bedrooms, plus one additional stand-alone heater and fan which can be used where required.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 8 beds, accommodating up to 11 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): One Tri-bunk, one Single Trundle bed and one Single bed
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): One Single bed and one Single Trundle bed
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
