Spacious ground-floor condo at Sunrise Ridge Beachfront Resort, stocked for both adult groups or families with kiddos. Super comfy beds, motion-sensored nightlights, stone-tile showers, A/C, fireplace, in-floor heating, well-equipped kitchen (including sugar & spices), private outdoor patio with BBQ, ultra-fast wifi, 3 TV's with Chromecasts and Netflix, beach towels, camping chairs, pool and beach toys, games, and cozy furnishings. Year-round hot tub & seasonal pool. So much to do with 5-10 min including mini golf, bumper boats, arcade, hikes, biking, beaches, spas, and shopping.

Private access to Rathtrevor Beach / 5m to Parksville / 10m to Qualicum / 20m to Nanaimo / 1hr to Mt Washington / 2hrs to Tofino or Victoria.

great property! great owner! Andrea greeted us before our stay and was available even though she was on holiday with her family. The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived. There was plenty of room for our adult family. The kitchen island was our gathering spot in the mornings and after a day of hikes and trips.We traveled with our small dog and cat and the house was very pet friendly. Even having the extra dog bowls in the property made life easier for us.This was our first stay north of Nanaimo and it went so well that we will be coming back.

We used suites A & B together as a single unit for 7 of us (5 adults, 2 children) witg adults in beds & children on air mattresses in parents bedroom. Lots of books & playthings for young children.

Clean nice place

Nice property that is clean and well maintained. The air conditioned in the secondary suite needs servicing as it seems to make funny noice. Likely needs the air filter cleaned. BQ grill needs to be cleaned as it has a lot of cooking debris built up. The cleaning utensils do not work well. Otherwise this is a great place and kept in good shape. Pool is close and our grandson loved it. Certainly a place I recommend for a family that needs extra sleeping accommodation.

Perfect Family Getaway!

It felt like I was staying at a friend's place! I was blown away by the amount of amenities provided along with straight forward instructions for where I could find everything! There were lots of beach towels and regular linens and extra pillows available, cleaning, supplies, containers to pack snacks in to take to the beach - they really thought of everything! Door codes were super easy to use, and the space was great for families with pets and kids. 10/10 Would book again!

From my first contact to my last, every bit of communication with Andrea was superlative! Her little added extras throughout their home were so handy and thoughtful. I loved her sense of humour in the little helpful signs posted around the condo. The place was immaculate, well stocked, convenient and homey.

Great vacation spot across from the pool

The property was very clean and well appointed. Unfortunately, there was no dining table to play games as it is a little hard to play on the island with more than 4 people. The dishes need to be replaced as they are chipped. The tap in the separate suite bathroom shower needs to be repaired. Other than those small details we would recommend this property for your next getaway. I am sure these concerns will be addressed quickly as Andrea has been very quick in answering any concerns I have. Thank you for the opportunity to rent your vacation property.

Fabulous place, great location!

This condo in Parksville is a fantastic place to stay! If you're looking for a clean, comfortable space with great beds and all the kitchen essentials you could need, this is the spot. Andrea was a wonderful host, always attentive and helpful. We highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for the perfect getaway.

Great spot for the whole family - we will return!

The unit was perfect and had all of the extra touches to make our stay special. Andrea was very communicative and responsive. One of our family members already booked the suite for a stay next July! We'll all definitely be back.

great get a way

Very clean and exactly what is advertised. Kitchen and bedrooms well stocked. Incredible communication. There was trouble with the property's boiler room just behind one of the bedrooms and the host acted immediately and was very helpful.

A home away from home

This was such a lovely place to stay, from the spacious suites, the calm patio and garden area overlooking the pool, to the extra touches that Andrea and family have put in to their property. We enjoyed walking down to the beach. It was a central location for our day trips. And we enjoyed talking with other friendly guests and owners around the property. We are already thinking about when we can come back to stay.

Great location that’s perfect for families!

Was our family’s time staying at the Sunrise Ridge Resort and was definitely not disappointed! Andrea’s suite was very new and clean with all the amenities and supplies you could want for a family vacation. Checking-in and out and other booking details were very clear and well communicated.

Great stay!!!

This is truly a home away from home. The unit is greatly maintained and very well appointed, has everything you need: lots of beach towels, pool towels, throw blankets, full size shampoo and conditioner. Kitchen is very well equipped, even spices and olive oil are provided, and many other small things that you can't pack with you. Location is great, pool and hot tub are a great bonus. Thank you Andrea for helping us to have a great vacation. Also, thanks for your great communication, every question was addressed immediately. Me and my family didn't want to leave!!!! We would certainly come back again!

We are Ty and Andrea from Cochrane, AB! We love to adventure together with our daughter, and while we love finding new places to explore, our most frequented destination is Vancouver Island. We feel strongly that the most important part of life is the people in it, so we spend much of our free time visiting friends and family.

Our little family loves to travel and adventure, but our condo in Parksville feels like a home away from home for us! We have always been in love with Vancouver Island, so when we saw this condo come up for sale, we knew it would be the perfect place for us to spend our time on Canada's most beautiful coastline (in our opinion). When we're not enjoying this little slice of heaven, we love to rent it out to other families and hope they love it as much as we do.

After years of staying in hotels, hostels, Air BnB's and other rentals, we've had both good and bad experiences that have motivated us to provide a clean, comfortable, and convenient stay for our own guests.

This condo is such a gem! Because it's our very own vacation spot, we've also made a number of special additions that make it feel more like home. Here are some of the most special features:

- Walk out the back door to the pool, hot tub and fitness room, only steps away (our baby monitor even reaches the hot tub!)
- A beautiful, private patio space surrounded by foliage (unique to the end units)
- To our knowledge, it's one of only 2 properties on Sunrise Ridge Resort that offers air conditioning.
- In-floor heating and a cozy electric fireplace
- A large, beautiful soaker tub in the master bedroom
- Automatic motion-sensor nightlights throughout the condo
- Beach towels supplied (because who wants to pack that)
- Chromecast or Smart TV functionality on every TV (we love movies)
- Board games, puzzles, and a variety of children's books
- Pack and Play and High Chair available upon request (no charge)
- Baby & Child's dinnerware
- Pantry basics like olive oil, spices, and sugar
- A kitchen that is well-stocked with cooking utensils & dish ware (we love to cook!)
- Automatic night lights throughout the condo (so it's easy to navigate in the dark)
