Enjoy spectacular ocean views from the Top-Level Living Area and greet each morning of your vacation from your Top-Level Deck as you enjoy a cup of coffee with a side of cool, ocean breezes coming up off the Atlantic. With the added bonus of a Game Room and situated just a quarter of a mile away from Nags Head Fishing Pier, Dream Catcher is everything you want for the ultimate Outer Banks vacation getaway and more.

Inside, the spacious top floor with its vaulted ceilings is the main level, with enough room for your group of friends or the whole family to spread out. The top-floor living area offers comfortable seating for a game night and a large flat-screen TV for post-beach movies or your favorite shows. The generous, open, well-equipped kitchen is large enough for everybody to be together and socialize while cooking, making meal preparation, and even clean-up fun with two dishwashers!

Conveniently located at Milepost 11.5, Nags Head's hottest destinations are less than 3 miles away, including Jockey's Ridge State Park (the largest living sand dune system in the Eastern United States where you can watch colorful hang gliders sail the skies from the world-renowned Kitty Hawk Kites); the Wright Brothers National Memorial (home of the iconic first flights); the Nags Head Woods Preserve (one of the largest remaining maritime forests and protected woodlands on the East Coast); as well as minigolf and other entertainment options galore.

Missing Some

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kitchen was poorly equipped--we had to buy fry pans because the ones there were terrible.There were no tall chairs on the balcony so you couldn't see over the rail if you sat down

Dream Catcher-kinda

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and view of the rough ocean. Upon checking in there was no hot water. Called and it was resolved within a few hours. Hot tub was not getting hot. That was reported at the same time as no hot water. Different repair person--pool and spa. They came out on Tuesday after repeated calls. Tuesday the oven broke, repair people came needed a new heating coil "We'll get that out to you right away because you will need the oven." NOPE. We worked our meals for 8 using the stove top, meal prep took hours. The oven was not repaired during our stay. The upstairs French doors leaked during the many rainstorms getting water on the living room floor. You could tell that there was rotting around the windows and doors that faced the ocean. The ground floor sink in the game room leaked. Many of the bedrooms had no nightstands or lamps. There were no chairs in the bedrooms for putting on shoes. (I know that doesn't sound like a big deal, but the beds were high enough to make that a problem. I used the seat down on the toilet. GLAMOROUS). One bedroom TV did not work and was replaced during our stay. The property listed three full size refrigerators. We only found 2. The weather as not our friend, but we did manage a fishing trip on a charter. Friday, we managed to get a permit and have a fire on the beach. Highly recommended. We did have two dogs on the trip and they were very happy. With the options available, and the number of people coming, we have learned a lesson of planning ahead. Get a commitment from the people coming. We would have booked a smaller place. The cleanliness issue was much to do with the last people who stayed there. The jacuzzi was dirty and there was a half filled jar of mayonnaise left in the bedroom. Knives in the kitchen were dirty.

Beach days at Dream Catcher

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family was extremely excited about staying at this home. We had stayed at this home years ago, and could not wait to go back. Unfortunately, this stay was not as grand. The house has not been well taken care of over the years. It was sad and disappointing to see the obvious neglect. Black mold was throughout the home, in all the bathrooms and some of the closets. The air filter was disgusting. We took it upon ourselves to replace it. The floors were so dirty that our feet would be black with dirt. Again, we took it upon ourselves to clean the floors. The bathroom showers were filthy, and moldy. We cleaned them as well. The sand along with trash, and ABUNDANT cigarette butts just about covered the area around the outdoor shower. So much so, that we used a shovel to dig it out and remove the trash and cigarette butts. We had the be cautious around the pool decking as there is thorny vines taking over. More than once, a child was hurt by the thorns. All of the pool chairs are broken. I’m not sure if the owner gets a chance to read these reviews, if so your home is in dire need of attention! As a rental home owner myself, I would want to know the condition my home is being left. We did not complain, We simply took it upon ourselves to fix what we could. That’s not to say that we were not disappointed though. We would not recommend staying at this home.

Family very happy with the location. nice sized pool and hot tub

We all had a wonderful time...plenty of room for everyone.There weren't any chairs in the Master Bedrooms. Mold in lowest floor bathroom.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property lists 3 fridges and 2 dishwashers. One of the dishwashers was broken and a fridge was missing. I called in the broken dishwasher on Sunday and was told someone would come out first thing Monday to fix it. It was not fixed until Thursday evening, and then only after repeated calls to maintenance. All the faucets and showers dripped - we were told nothing could be done about it.
