Solo quería escribir para informarles de cuánto disfrutamos nuestra estadía en Outer Banks la semana pasada. Jugamos al golf, pescamos, compramos, vimos las vistas y nos relajamos en esta hermosa casa. Por favor, extendamos nuestro sincero agradecimiento a los propietarios de la casa. La casa era hermosa, contenía la parte superior de la línea de suministros de cocina y los muebles estaban bien elegidos. Fue muy cómodo. Lo único que no pude encontrar fue un libro para compartir nuestra experiencia en. Espero no haber pasado por alto la oportunidad de compartir nuestro gran momento con los propietarios. Gracias también a todos por su maravilloso servicio y ayuda. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera que desee visitar Nags Head.

It was very nice and worked well for our group. We had some weather related issues during the nor’easter, but nothing that effected us to much. Overall would recommend and stay there again!

Nice house on the beach with lots of interior space

The rooms were larger than they look in the pictures which was a nice surprise and everyone had plenty of their own space too. Most of the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of seating in the living room and game room. We would have liked it if the outdoor spaces were a little larger with more seating, but it worked fine. The parking was a little tricky but we made that work as well. We really enjoyed to pool and hot tub and the beach right outside our door was really great! The steps to the beach were a little old and tricky so we had to be a little careful there, but it was so great to have the nice beach right there. We saw dolphins everyday! The location was nice, very close to everything and our teenagers could walk to the pier, ice cream shops and play mini golf in the evenings. This was a great house and we had a great time there!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at Serenity Nags Head. The house was located in a great spot, very spacious and housed all 16 of us comfortably. Beds were decently comfortable and bathrooms were clean and functional. Plenty of living and rec space. Decks were mostly refreshed recently except for the walkway over the dune which was very worn. The kitchen was decently stocked and the HVAC systems worked well. Heated pool and hot tub very nice. Our major concern was a poorly attached threshold at the top of the stairs the broke the first time someone stepped on it and grout crumbled down the stairs. I alerted the company immediately but no one ever came to repair it so we had to avoid a significant trip hazard all week. Many blown light bulbs or broken switched and one broken kitchen drawer were also a bit of a bummer. Overall a great week but some attention timely maintenance would be a big plus.

Friends vacation

The house was very large with plenty of bedrooms with king size beds for 4 couples. Great location with steps to ocean. Property was very nice, little outdated but very clean and comfortable. Wish the kitchen was stocked with a couple of more things like sharper knives and serving bowls. Everything else that we needed was there. Note: Blue Moon is a fantastic restaurant and cannot wait to go back!

Serenity stay - fall 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this rental was excellent. We went both north and south and found this location to be perfectly in the middle. It was close to grocery and ice cream! The beach location was awesome - cross the berm and you’re on the beach. The house had enough room for all of us (we didn’t use all of the bedrooms. It was clean and had all of the cookware required. The pool and hot tub were great. The grandkids and adults loved it - just steps from the beach. The ability to rinse your feet before coming into the pool area surely kept the sand minimal. The tropical storm was a bit scary on the last evening with no power but the power company was right on it and resolved within a few hours. Overall we had a wonderful fall week!

Good for Families With Young Kids

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely time at this property. The location is excellent, beach access is great, and the pool and hot tub were well-maintained. The kitchen was fairly well-stocked in terms of cooking utensils which was a great surprise for a beach house. Only two items to call out: First, the house was not as clean as I would have hoped (some pretzels on the living room floor from previous guests and one shower in pretty rough shape) but it wasn't a deal-breaker. We were able to check in an hour early, which made the lighter clean more acceptable. Second, the back deck is very rough and one of the children in our party got a splinter. It looks like the wood around the pool was replaced but none of the other back decking, including stairs and balconies. Overall, this was a great house to have several young families in - very comfortable and convenient.

Serenity at Nags Head Rental

House size was perfect for our group- loved the 5 King bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The 2 pyramid bunk rooms were ideal as well. Pool and hot tub were in great condition and a welcome respite after a day on the beach. We notified maintenance about several items- raised nails on decking, leftover tent frame at end of walk to beach needing removal, and an unsightly stain in the toilet (which turned out to be result of hard water); excellent maintenance service though understandably due to these being lower priority issues, it did take a couple days before they made it to the house.In the negative side, the kitchen was quite disorganized with pots, pans, lids, cutting boards, utensils in multiple different cabinets. Also there were only 3 wine glasses for this large house. Aside from this, we could rate the house 5 Star for meeting our needs and being as described.

You can find a better house

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Renter beware, this property is not in good condition, had to call because railing on third level was falling apart , they came and put in some nails so the kids wouldn’t fall through , but most the wood was rotting , so if someone fell against it it would probably fall down. The don’t come clean the pool or hot tub at all during the entire week, so it gets very disgusting.. The hot tub doesn’t seem to have working filtration or chemical management. Porch roofing kept falling down , big slabs of vinyl we had to walk around.It was rainy half the time we were there, one of the bedrooms leaks So when you are sleeping if it’s raining it will drip right on your head , we notified them, but they said that it was just because it was a heavy rain, however two nights later it happened again.Steps to the beach are all rotting and broken , trip hazard and splinter hazardThey decorate with old plastic plants that have layers of grime on them.This is one of the worst and most expensive rentals we’ve ever stayed in.If I were you I’d keep looking , we saw many rentals there that looked much better taken care of.

Family Trip

We’ve booked this house for several years, my husband and I got married on the beach right behind the house. The only concerns we had were the deck! There are several nails that are up, the banisters are very wobbly, the deck shook really bad and there were boards sticking up on the ramp out to the beach as well as on the steps to go down to the beach one step was split length wise and barely hanging on, someone is going to step on that the wrong way and fall down those steps. The house is just as I remembered with all the essentials just really need to fix the deck and the section walking to the beach.

Most bathrooms need more towel racks. I really like Beach Realty. They are professional and timely.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family stayed in this house 3 years ago and could not believe the condition the house was in when we arrived this trip. It is obvious the owners have not put any money or time in it which is sad due to the great location of the house. The ground level decking was so covered in what we called slime and was very slippery. I'm pretty sure it has never been power washed. We paid $400.00 for the pool to be heated and only had heat 3.5 of the days we were there. The pool company was great and came out the day after I sent over a fix it slip only to find out there wasn't enough water in the pool. A problem I could have easily corrected day one.

Although some of the neighbors were over enjoying their stay (as in 1:30 AM in the pool way too often), the location and home were both very good. We had some small issues in the home with quick response on most from Beach Realty. But were really enjoyed our stay overall.

WE HAD A BLAST

The only thing we weren't prepared for was the steepness of the steps (ha ha) but it was perfect!

Great, spacious house, but with a few maintenance issues

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this was a fantastic house. It had everything we wanted, including a pool and hot tub and views of the beach.Unfortunately, we had a couple issues upon arrival. There were NO sheets for any of the king size beds. I had to call to have them delivered. The containers for dirty towels and sheets from the previous guests were still sitting in the bins in the garage and the person I spoke to made me go through them to make sure none of the containers had clean sheets in them. It was kind of gross. Also, the grill was filthy; there were clam shells still sitting on the grill, assuming from the previous guests. One of the guests in my group spent a couple hours cleaning the grill up to make it suitable for use. The drip pan also disintegrated while we were there. And, we ran out of propane on the first full day. I thought I had read somewhere that the rental agency would deliver us whatever we needed, but when I called to have propane delivered, they told me I had to go get it and they would reimburse me. A huge inconvenience. And finally, some of the chairs around the kitchen table were sticky, again assuming from the previous guests.A couple other complaints we had were that some of the doors/locks seem warped and are hard to open (especially the second floor walk out to the deck overlooking the beach) and that we had to call for additional chlorine for the pool and hot tub mid-week.The biggest issue is actually hazardous. Algae is growing on the second and first floor decks. The decks both get very wet when the hot tub is in use and becomes very slippery. One of the guests in our group fell as a result. These should probably be bleached and scrubbed at least once a month to reduce this issue.Other than that, the house is in a great location, far enough from the main road (Croatan Hwy), but close enough to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. We would stay here again.

Very Nice Beach Week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is very good but not much beach at high tide (true for all of the houses along this stretch). Close to a lot of fun things to do, tho. The house had a couple of problems, which the realty company fixed immediately - very good response. It was very clean and has wonderfully comfortable furniture in the living room. The beds are not too great, but livable. Overall, a great beach week experience.
