This family and pet friendly home is situated within walking distance to shops, cafes and the Cairns Esplanade. Enjoy wonderful views of the mountains while relaxing on the balcony lounge.

Wonderful stay close to Cairns

We had a really nice stay here and were in a central location for Cairns and everything we wanted to do. The balcony is beautiful and there’s plenty of room for friends or a family.

Great little place to stay for a few days

Lovely old style house in Cairns. Large balcony out back and ahort walk to some good cafes with great coffee. Would stay again.

Beautifully styled, great balcony, close to town

We loved our stay here, it was such a beautifully styled place, easy to find and check in and a lovely balcony area to enjoy. It was a little noisy and very bright sleeping on the front-facing balcony near a fairly busy road but the two indoor rooms were much quieter.

Great house layout and location!

We loved the layout of the house. It has charm and located in a cute neighborhood. We also liked the location as it was just a 7 minute uber ride to downtown. There are cafes and bars walking distance which was fun. It worked out really well for our group! If you stay in the bedroom facing the street, it might be advisable to bring ear plugs as it can get a little noisy. Overall a great place to stay!

Lovely listing

This house was exactly what we were looking for, for the weekend. It was in a great location where we were still able to be downtown Cairns in less than 5 minutes but far enough away where we weren't near the super heavy traffic. The place was extremely spacious, and the kitchen was wonderful. It easily slept the 7 of us that stayed, and I would definitely recommend this place again.

Wonderful location and great property

We loved our stay at this property! The outside porch was awesome and we loved the openness of the living room. A few things to note for reference: - the property is in an awesome location and very close to everything you need (coffee shops, grocery, running routes, entertainment). Just note that it is too far for kids to walk to the promenade easily, but the drive is just a few minutes - 2 of the 4 beds are on the sleeping porch, which does not offer the ability to fully close the windows from weather, sun or road noise.

Dirt and dust everywhere, fans and aircons were filthy, benches and floors haven’t been mopped in ages. No wifi like the listing states, aircon in one of the rooms doesn’t work. Laundry room is below the bathroom under house- bathroom floor/shower leaks directly over electrical appliances in the under house laundry, puddles of water on the ground around them and all on the benches near PowerPoints including over the actual appliances, they had buckets under the leaks so were so aware! I had to Hand wash all uniforms for a team of 21 players, what a disgrace! Still waiting on the owner 3 days later to contact me in regards to all of this and a refund, disgusting gutless because he knew all the problems and cannot take accountability. Water damage on bathroom basin with fungus growing out of it. It is also being listed for sale, zero integrity or zero safety all round.

Some surprises

Advance warning that there were no window panes on some of the road facing windows would have been nice. Lots of traffic noise from the busy road in the front bedroom, as well as the early birds. Instruction as to where the washer and dryer were located would have been helpful. Place was a little further from the central business district than expected. Easy uber but sketchy walking. Nice deck but no real mountain view.

Disgusting!

ANTS IN ALL OF THE BEDS. No windows behind the shutters in the main bedroom. The furniture in the unit was stained. The beautiful picture you see with the outdoor sofa, the sofa/sectional was gross with stains. The backyard of the unit looks nothing like the listing. Food left in the fridge, and the dishwasher was even dirty. Nasty …. Just nasty. Avoid! We left after 30 minutes and went to a hotel.
