NOT Pet Friendly as advertised
Good location and proximity to beach however this contemporary home is NOT pet friendly. Tiny backyard with no grass, steep internal staircase to access main living area and kitchen upstairs which is not stipulated in the online listing. After booking accepted and payment processed for 3 nights, the owner then contacts to check breed, size of my dog. Despite allowing the dog and having already accepted payment, owner asks us to consider not bringing our dog. This was a holiday planned with bringing a fur child. Additional pet cleaning fee bond was then further charged. No damage to property or furniture occured however the owner refused to refund the full bond I paid of 1000. We also left early due to a family emergency requiring hospital admission therefore only stayed 2 nights. I did not request a refund.After leaving, owner accused me of letting my dog on her lounge as a small amt of fur was apparently seen by cleaner. This actually never occured. When I asked for a photo of said fur, the photo was of a lounge upstairs which my dog did not access. The fur in the photo was not consistent with my dog's coat and in between the crease of the lounge, likely left over from a previous pet. One would have thought the paid pet cleaning fee should have covered the cleaning of the said lounge fur or from the left over funds of not staying the 3rd night.Very misleading listing this accomodation as "Pet friendly".
