Rockaway Beach is our go to place! This was the best time we have had in years. The unit was clean, well stocked for any kind of cooking, right on the beach and Central to all Rockaway and the coast has to offer. Will definitely book this one again!

We LOVED the beach view! The condo building was quiet and peaceful. It's right by the tourist train, so we heard the sweet old-fashioned train whistle a few times per day. (Never at night.) The king sized bed was very comfortable. The bedroom could use better lighting, but that wasn't a big deal. We'd definitely stay here again. Rockaway is a charming little town.

The room was exceptional, with a great view. The bed could use a topper because it was real hard. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place. We plan on staying again real soon.

Good enough for wonderful view

First off, the view makes it worth it. And the little town has what you might need without being crazy busy or too touristy. A couple of heads up: there is no immediate or easy access to the beach. You’ll need to go downstairs, out into the parking lot and down a little bit into another parking lot and then onto the beach. Also, the bedroom is very tight (hardly any floor space annd no windows) and there was no room to keep our suitcases in there so those had to take up space in the living room. The place (furnishings) are very dated but comfortable. For these three reasons, I think the price was a little high. But the view and the sound of waves made me willing to overlook those three points.

Right on the beach. Super clean, easy check in and friendly to owner. Could use a bit of an update but it was really a great stay.

Room with a view

Driving up the building appeared to be under construction so I was a little worried but the rental was just as nice as expected. Beautiful view but you are not at beach level you are raised above the sea rock wall. Not to worry the walk to the beach is really easy and only takes a few mins. Enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

This stay was wonderful- we were looking for a cozy cabin on the beach and this fit the bill. The views are amazing and the space, even though a condo, is very cozy. We only stayed one night, but would love to come back again. Highly recommend.

Shortened Vacay

The location was perfect however too many problems. Bed super uncomfortable, 2 inoperable fireplaces, lighting too low to read by, blinds on bedroom window stuck in the open position. The worst problem was that the keypad didn't always work. Thankfully when we found this out only one of us had left the condo.

Very very terrible & terrifying experience

The property was nice and clean . We checked in on September 24, early check in due to very unfriendly members of community. We had to drive 1 hour to get to the neaest town where we could get food and where we felt comfortable enough to shop. By September 26, we were in a complete blackout. No electricity, no phone service. Our pup was even scared. Ocean tides were getting visible and very high, the water was very close to the Condo. We stayed in dark for quite a while on Tuesday night not knowing if we would survive or see morning. On September 27 power was back on but no cable or TV service and the ocean tides were still high but not that close to the condo but pretty close and we had enough. Throughput all this we communicated with management with no resolution other than there hands were tied, they could not do anything and dont worry about the people in the town. Try to enjoy your stay. This was one of the most dreadful, horrifying, prejudice places that we have ever visited in my 55 years on this earth and we will never, ever recommend or visit this part of the US again. We had enough and to feel safe and to enjoy what was left of our vacation we got a room closer to Portland , OR airport. One of the locals told us that the place where we were staying does not like outsiders. Wrong place to visit in Oregon.

Peace and quiet

Delightful couple days on the beach. I heard no sound from any of the surrounding apartments. Best equipped kitchen I've every seen. Would definitely return. No one available for check-in but clear instructions how to enter apt.

No Bedding

Everything was wonderful and we especially enjoyed the beach chairs and wood for a fire, BUT there was no bedding for the sleeper sofa, I requested some immediately and never heard back or recieved bedding.

Great Stay

We enjoined out time there. The only issue was the first night the people up stair must have eating something bad an was up all night which woke us up at times. Other then that we had a great time

The property was great! The only thing lacking was a USB port for charging our phones. We both forgot our chargers, But other places that we have stayed had them built in so we didn’t think to bring them.
