Expansive ocean views in all directions. This home was built as close to the waters edge as possible. When the tide is low you can walk the beach and look for sand dollars or take a beach chair down and sit at the waters edge. The large expansive decks are an invitation to sit and relax with a book, enjoy the views with a glass of wine, celebrate with friends and loved ones creating beautiful memories or getting away for a solo retreat. The inside of the home brings the outside in with neutral calm colours of the landscape outside. Luxury furnishings and throw blankets, a cozy fireplace and a kitchen equipped with all the comforts of a luxury home make the inside a cozy retreat with beautiful views. Open the bedroom windows and allow the sounds of the waves and the light ocean breeze lull you to sleep in New comfortable queen mattresses with luxury bedding with a separate ensuite in each bedroom for privacy.

A room with a view!

Welcoming, cozy home with stunning views of the ocean. Although we had rainy damp weather, we enjoyed every bit of our time on the couch looking out at the ocean. The kitchen had everybody we needed for our stay. It was clean quiet and comfortable. We look forward to hopefully coming back some day.

Port Mouton Beachfront House

This house is phenomenal! It is a beautiful location and the homeowners have created a lovely and relaxing setting with the views of the ocean, pathways and gardens. Inside the amenities are top notch and comfortable furnishings. We wished we could’ve stayed longer!

A wonderful week at the Beach House!

We stayed at this beautiful beach house from June 23 to June 30 2025 and it was everything we hoped for and more. The location is incredibly quiet and private and offers a spectacular view of the ocean that made every day feel like a retreat.The house itself was luxurious, spacious, and spotlessly clean. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, and we immediately felt at home. What truly sets this place apart is the ocean-facing living room, where we spent countless hours in the swivel chairs just watching the ever-changing water. We regularly spotted porpoises, seals, and a variety of seabirds right from inside the house, using the provided binoculars. :)One unforgettable detail was the smell that greeted us when we first stepped out of the car: a mix of salt air and wild roses. It's nearly impossible to describe, but it instantly set the tone for the week: fresh, calming, and almost magical.The house was also the perfect base to explore southeastern Nova Scotia and its many beautiful beaches. The sunrises were breathtaking, and we even found ourselves imagining what it would be like to spend Christmas here, with a tree by the window and the ocean as a backdrop. Honestly, we could have easily stayed the whole summer.A big thank you to our host, Lorrie, for the warm welcome and excellent communication. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic, and nature-filled escape, this place is truly special.
