Aislado refugio de montaña entre Bozeman y Livingston

Trail Creek Cabin es una icónica cabaña de troncos de Montana en 20 acres ubicado entre Bozeman y Livingston. El camino de entrada 1/2 milla hace que sea una cabina aislada y privada con un arroyo corriendo detrás de la propiedad. Esta cabaña cuenta con todas las comodidades modernas del hogar, incluyendo un sistema de AV Savant, con un ambiente rústico de Montana. Hay incluso un piano si quieres cosquillas a los marfiles.

El centro de Bozeman es de 20 minutos y llegar al Parque Nacional de Yellowstone es solamente una hora en coche. Hay un montón de senderismo, bicicleta de montaña y pistas de esquí cross cerca y la pesca con mosca y rafting en el río Yellowstone son una corta distancia. We loved our stay in this cabin. It was a perfect distance outside of Bozeman - definitely secluded but still only a short drive to restaurants, shops, etc. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s super cute, comfortable, and fun. The upstairs loft was a really nice bonus space. The kitchen was well-appointed with plenty of appliances, dishes, and utensils. Laundry was great as we got plenty dirty while out hiking. The host was quick to respond when we had a minor issue. Our favorite thing, however, was that there is a cattle gate to get on the driveway to the property and during the last two days of our stay the local rancher moved his herd to the pasture along the driveway. We loved navigating cattle and cute little calves along and literally on the driveway to the cabin — silly, I know, but it made it feel authentic Montana! Well water had a sulfur smell, but the smell doesn’t stay in your hair or on your clothes if you do laundry, so it wasn’t a big deal. It also, to be honest, was sort of an everyday reminder we were staying near Yellowstone geysers and natural hot springs. The filtered drinking water tap was fresh and not smelly at all. Good supply of local guidebooks and snacks were an appreciated bonus! Highly recommend.

Perfectly Peaceful

The cabin was a perfectly delightful place. The setting is tranquil and so peaceful. The logs and stone walls are a work of art. It is a cabin, but it has all of the conveniences of a house. The kitchen is well equipped. It was a wonderful touch to have basics like olive oil, some spices, mustard, ketchup and other food items. It is an easy drive to Bozeman from the cabin. We were there in October and the fall colors were outstanding. We walked up the trail in back of the cabin and enjoyed the view over the valley. I highly recommend this property!

Nice Cabin in a Great Area

We stayed for a month, August 2024. Nice cabin, in a beautiful area. It's fairly easy to get to (unlike some mountain cabins). We had moose, bear, and deer visits. Easy to get to Bozeman or Livingston within 15 minutes. Cabin and rooms are on the small side, for a couple it's fine, I could see for a family it could get tight. Could use some updated furniture. But these are minor nitpicks for what was a wonderful stay. Host was always responsive. We never had any issues while we were there. We loved Montana (our first visit), and this cabin.

Lord of the flies

I’ll start by saying I LOVED the location and seclusion of this cabin. The host was friendly and responsive. The well water does stink, but it’s not unusual for remotely located cabins, and they did provide plenty of bottled water for drinking. What I didn’t love were the flies. Not that there were flies attacking us during our stay, but when we first checked in, I counted 12 dead flies in the upstairs bathroom. Each day the count got higher, and across the floor upstairs, I counted over 100 dead flies. We eventually moved to the downstairs bedroom, as walking around barefoot around all the dead flies was rather off putting.

Beautiful Retreat!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! The location was perfect for adventuring in the area during the day and coming back to relax during the evening. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the birds and watching the ever-changing skies over Montana. We loved the peace and privacy of this cabin. We will definitely stay again!

Perfect cabin in perfect location

This was our 2nd time staying in this cabin and it did not disappoint. Our group included my husband, his sister, and our 2 Golden Retrievers. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We had several wildlife encounters that were a thrill. We had a small black bear cross the driveway in front of us as well as a beautiful red weasel, and a herd of elk grazed in the pasture below the cabin one evening. The location was perfect for our adventures. We took a boat tour at the Gates of the Mountains, rented a raft and floated down the Yellowstone, drove to Old Faithful, went horseback riding near Gardiner, toured Big Sky, Livingston, and Bozeman, went to the Three Forks park, drove through Ted Turner's ranch and viewed the bison, and enjoyed several hikes. We spent our evenings grilling and chilling. Thanks for letting us share this wonderful cabin!

Breathtaking vacation in mountain cabin perfection!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family of five, plus two dogs. Every amenity exceeded expectations, host communication was thorough and prompt, and everything was clean, clean, clean! Secluded but accessible location made exploring fun, with reasonable proximity to Bozeman, Yellowstone and so much more. We hope to return here again and again!

Remote Setting

Valley drive out of town and cabin setting on hillside was impressive especially the wildlife viewing. Bozeman was still very accessible and Yellowstone was an easy drive. However, the stinky well water was overwhelming; the smell was not conducive to doing laundry. The artwork was risque and not family friendly; more than suggestive and not fitting for a peaceful woodlands setting.

Better Than Expected!

The house was fantastic! Much nicer than the pictures even showed. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The property was gorgeous too. We had such a great time we’re already thinking about coming back in warmer weather.

Perfect getaway

Amazing property and cabin. Cabin is perfect sized, has everything you need, very clean and in immaculate shape. The property is beautiful, nestled in the trees, plenty of shade, all you hear is the wind blowing through the trees. Would definitely stay again. We loved everything about it.

Beautiful cabin and setting!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was plenty big enough for the 4 of us (and 2 dogs) and we appreaciated all the extra little comforts that were available: hair dryers, plenty of kitchen gear for cooking, 2 grills, plenty of outside seating for dinner, nice linens and towels, 2.5 baths, etc. We'll definately go back!

Perfectly secluded yet close to everything!

We absolutely loved this cabin. Nice and secluded yet still close to so many things to do. We sat outside every morning and listened to the Elk bugle. We saw a few off the back porch and on the drive. Close enough to Old Faithful, tubing and hiking. All the amenities you could ever need to stay in, cook or grill and relax to the Sonos sound system. Wish we could have stayed a few more days! Hopefully we can make it back.

Log cabin nestled in the woods

Amazing, very clean log cabin. Perfect for our party of 4. Host was available to answer questions. Perfect location, close to Bozeman. Fully equipped house with comfortable beds great supplies, pinball machine, piano, appple tv and outdoor seating! Great experience overall!

AWSOME GETAWAY

This Cabin was everything we expected and more! The perfect distance between town and being tucked away in the mountains. The drive to Yellowstone in the winter with icy roads only took us an hour and the views on the way are breath taking. Martha and the property manager were super accommodating. We got about 8inches of snow one day and the plow guy was there in the morning to get the driveway cleared before we finished our morning coffee! I would 100% recommend staying at this cabin if your looking to be off the grid but not hours away from Bozeman or Yellowstone. Thank you So much for letting us stay in your Cabin!

Beautiful Setting

Trail Creek Cabin is nestled up in the woods outside of Bozeman. It provides a tranquil setting in which to enjoy nature. As we sat outside our first night, we could hear elk bugling nearby. The cabin is very comfortably furnished. We appreciated a snack basket our host provided and used the energy bars to fuel our hikes in Yellowstone. Bottled water was also provided as the cabin’s well water has a chemical odor/taste. There is a faucet that has an extra filter for drinkable water. I used this to make coffee and didn’t detect any problem with the taste. Another feature of the cabin that was helpful was a landline for local calls. We punctured a tire on the dirt road back from Yellowstone and needed to reach the tire shop in Bozeman. Despite setting our cell phones to WIFI calling, they did not work within the cabin, so the landline was invaluable. I love that the host allows pets and our puppy loved the cabin and surrounding woods. The property manager, Jesse, did a wonderful job showing us the ins and outs of the cabin. It was comforting to know that he was available should we have questions or problems. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to experience mountain solitude.

superb stay

The property was just magnificent. The mountain cabin was fabulous. Only half a mille from the road. House perfectly done and appointed. We had everything we needed. Wonderful kitchen and baths with beautiful furniture. Location was fantastic. Easy to get to Bozeman but yet still felt so remote. We can't wait to return!

Awesome Cabin

The cabin is awesome and it is located in the perfect location. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had everything we need for cooking family meals. We especially loved the Traeger smoker!!! I would highly recommend this cabin!!!
