As you walk up the footpath, through the leafy green trees and enter through the doorway, you will feel the calmness and serenity your group is yearning for wash over them instantly. All four bedrooms are ready for you to drop your luggage off so you can venture out to the wonderful award-winning restaurants, world-class vineyards, boutique shops, trendy cafes, national parks, hiking and walking tracks such as Lake Canobolas and Borenore Caves. Not much beats quality time spent around the firepit on a Saturday night with a BBQ there waiting for you & the company of those close to your heart.

Entrance to the outdoor patio via the master bedroom provides a soothing parents retreat. The dining and kitchen spaces are appointed with modern appliances and all of the essential amenities you require. Bring your group together in the spacious living area where you can unwind with a movie or enjoy a local wine or two outside. Take advantage of the amazing views offered by your own colourful piece of Orange countryside that surrounds the home.

Nestled amidst a quite residential street, Avonlea is located a short scenic drive from the Orange CBD and its award-winning restaurants and cafes, eclectic boutique shopping, and picture-perfect attractions. Head over to the family-friendly Robin Hood Hotel for dinner or to The Agrestic Grocer for a spectacular brunch. The Orange Botanic Gardens showcases the four seasons of Orange, is an ideal spot for a family picnic with its BBQ facilities, and the adventure playground that will have the kids begging you for "just 5 more minutes."

Treasure the scenic views and rolling hills as you travel an easy 5 mins to the ultimate wine tasting session at the renowned Mortimers Wines. Watch the latest flick at the Odeon 5 cinema or share some laughs at Orange Tenpin Bowl. Indulge in deliciousness with a dinner reservation at Charred Kitchen & Bar where the whole crew will be smiling from ear-to-ear with an extensive wine & cocktail list and mouth-watering food. Join our friendly locals at the farmers' markets on the second Saturday of the month and return home to prepare a homemade meal with your new fresh produce.

Admire the views available on many of the hiking trails at Mount Canobolas or explore the nearby ancient Borenore Caves. For a memorable, picture-perfect picnic, Lake Canobolas definitely will not disappoint!

BOOKING ENHANCEMENTS
Two days prior to your arrival you will be sent a link to a form where you can request some additional items to make your stay even better! You can request an early check in or a late checkout that we will approve pending availability and the payment of any necessary fees.

You can also request other enhancements like a bottle of locally produced wine on arrival. Let us know if you have any questions about this process at any stage!

COVID-19
This property is professionally cleaned by our team of regular cleaners who have all been trained to maintain our high quality standards in alignment with the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire property for the duration of their stay, with the exception of the garage.

Over 80 vineyards surround Orange and produce distinguished cool-climate wines made with passion by our resident winemakers and vignerons. The city is also known for its lovely parks, brilliant autumn colours, vibrant café’s and award winning restaurants.

Other Things to Note:
Firepit: this property has a firepit that you are more than welcome to use if you wish. Instructions are provided in the Welcome Book in the home and also in your check in details closer to your arrival. Firewood is not provided, however, there are several local providers or you can message us ahead of time and we can help you organise to have some available when you arrive.

Interaction with Guests:
I give my guests space but am available when needed.
