Great Place for group stay

Overall experience was great..did not have any issues. Will book again for our next trip back to Indianapolis..have lots of close by restaurants, sky bridge to convention center and mall..

FFA Convention

Great stay near all the action for the FFA Convention. Very convenient and near all activities and many dining options just a short walk away. Clean property, quiet building and 2 baths was great.

Cozy Suites was Awesome

Everything about this suite was awesome! Our only concern was that the public spaces in the building, especially the hallways were pretty best up. That being said there's nothing the owners could do about that. The suite was great, comfy, clean, and right in the heart of downtown. Perfect location. A great stay!

Central location

Stayed here with my family, there were 4 of us. The main selling point to booking this property was the 2 bathrooms. Upon checking in we found that they had the smallest water heater possible and we could not take 2 showers at once as the water ran cold after a mere 10 minutes. I contacted the host and was told to let the hot water replenish and not to use both showers at once. I found the listing to be deceptive, if I had known we would not be able to take a warm shower and would have to wait for hot water between every use, I would have booked a hotel instead. The futon was also broken, I contacted the host regarding this as well and was told a maintenance man would be by to switch it out. But no one showed up, so we were left with nothing to sit on and no futon for my daughter at night. Location was great, very central and close to a lot of restaurants, attractions but if you have children it gets pretty loud outside on the weekend, week nights were fine. So something to consider. Unfortunately we would not rebook this property in the future.

Awful

This place gets 1 star for location. The location is great! But the apartment itself not so much. On check In Day the bathtub in one of the rooms was running. The handle was off but water was still pouring out. Not a little drip but full on running. We contacted the number that says they’re there for us 24/7 only to be responded to by an automated message. No one ever came to look at it. We just kept getting a response that they would send my message to the correct team. Reached out to Vrbo directly and was told someone will be reaching out we have heard nothing to date and we were there on July 25.. our entire stay we did not have hot water for showers which is a basic amenity. the moisture from the running water causes condensation on the walls and ceiling and it looked like nicotine running off the walls. Very disgusting. The building itself is also very old and dingy. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone nor will I ever stay in this building again.

Book Somewhere Else, Please.

Coming in, I had read many bad reviews of CozySuites and this property in particular. One of which talked about a broken couch that was broken before the gentleman began his stay, and was kept in there for him to use. The couch was still broken when we came in for our business stay. We were their on business, not partying. I didn't need much or expect much. The building is not very inviting, it smells dank when you get to certain floors, but it's in a good location which is very centralized in the city, so it didn't seem that bad. We were contacted halfway through our stay and told that they would come by and swap out the broken couch which should have been changed out before our stay. It did get swapped out the second day of our stay! The individual staying with me complained and joked about how his bed was basically a mattress on the floor with a bed frame around it. I learned later that it was because the frame of the bed was actually shattered when we got there and he was quite literally sleeping on the floor. Don't worry though! They will be fixing that, but have reached out to me saying that because this is broken (and they assume that we had to have done something to break the bedframe...) That we would have to pay for the repair of the bedframe. They later backed off after I explained how we couldn't have broken the frame. This bed was broken the whole time. What a scam. Would stay anywhere else next time. 1 / 5 star

More worried about controlling the reviews

There were good things about this property -- the location and the actual unit were great. The apartment was clean and as pictured. However, there were two major problems. 1. The hallway from the elevator to the apartment had really gross old carpet that smelled horribly of urine. 2. It was the first week of May, but we couldn't get the unit under 76 degrees once we used the shower and using one blow dryer. The place was so humid our drinks were sweating, and the windows were wet. Everyone left for our morning event sweaty and aggravated. There was actually a sign on the A/C warning us not to turn it too far down or it would break, so this is clearly a problem. I understand that this is an old building and A/C issues have to do with the old venting and are difficult to update. I also understand that the carpet and cleaning of the common areas probably have more to do with the building owner than the unit owner. But, then I would say not every property is suitable to VRBO. Coming town for a dressy event on a spring morning and leaving for it sweaty with frizzy hair was not in my plans. Lastly, there were signs and requests about not leaving bad reviews. In fact, the sign in the unit educated us on how VRBO dings them for anything less than 4.6. And then I got an email asking me to discuss problem with them before leaving a review. I just think they know it's not a desirable place to stay and want to prevent bad reviews more than they want to fix the problems.
