Welcome to The Nest.
The property is comprised of 3 spacious indoor components, the main Homestead, the Cottage and Activities Shed. There are also multiple outdoor areas to enjoy including covered patios, firepit and outdoor games.
The price on the reservation is for up to 16 people, and includes the entire property, except for the family room (additional fees apply).
Homestead sleeping arrangements:
Bedroom 1: Queen Bed + 2 Single Beds & Full Bathroom ensuite

Bedroom 3: Queen Bed

For groups of over 16, or those who want to spread out a little more:
AVAILABLE AT ADDITIONAL CHARGE:
Family room attached to the Cottage with separate entrance: Massive 35m2 with Queen Bed + 3 Single Beds
You will have exclusive and full use of the property throughout your stay.
We are available 24/7 via phone for any questions, and our grounds caretaker is available on short notice to take care of anything that may come up.
Set in a beautiful area of exclusively large acreages. Anybody looking to spend time away from it all in a secluded property specifically setup for entertaining a large group, will love the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, while being a short drive from shops, and some of the best wineries and restaurants that Hunter Valley wine region has to offer!
Being in a beautifully rural setting, you will want to bring vehicles, or avail yourself of the many Hunter Valley transport and touring companies. There is plenty of parking onsite.
We have security cameras monitoring the external areas of the property for security purposes.
NOISE:
This is a strict no party house. We understand that every group is different, but we do not make exceptions.
The property is in a Environmental Conservation Zone area and council regulates outside noise, to ensure the valley stays quiet and neighbors aren’t disturbed. Although this is a large property, sound travels and is amplified in the valley.
Please keep in mind:
- There is no amplified music allowed outdoors at any time.
- There is no noise allowed outdoors after 10pm, its best to move the socialising indoors after that.
If this might interfere with your weekend away plans then please reach out to discuss.
We use NoiseAware technology to monitor the decibel levels outside the house.
In cases of noise complaints that are not addressed on request, we reserve the right to use contracted security patrol cars to remove all guests from the premise mid-stay with no refund.
