Relax with the whole family in our peaceful home.
Get away from the busy life, while enjoying a quiet holiday in the country, away from the city lights, and traffic, just a eight minute drive to the beautiful Shuswap lake, this wonderful farm setting gives you the country feel while being only a six minute drive from restaurants and other amenities.
The space
This home is a wonderful place for families to get together and enjoy time playing board games, reading books, visiting with each other, and enjoying the beautiful countryside.
In a quiet location, our property boasts fabulous rural views, a great outdoor living area, spacious living room and a wonderful all around feeling.
We love our place, and hope you will as well!

Perfect house and setting

The six of us loved being close to Sorrento as we were involved in a retreat there but our time on the farm at the house was lovely. I communicated with Andrew about some things needed at the house. He is a great communicator and host.

Family and future in-laws travelling to Niece’s wedding

Found that the Blue House allowed our family to unplug and enjoy the working farm around us. The house came with everything you will need, just bring the groceries and enjoy. The bedrooms and living spaces are just as the pictures show, however, the comfort and greatness of the deck in the morning watching the sun rise having a coffee with your wife is understated. We hope you will enjoy the Blue House as much as my family did.

Peace and quiet

This property is off the beaten path but is worth the trip. Serene and tranquil would be the best way to describe the site. There are tons of plates, cups and cutlery. My only suggestion here would be a couple more frying pans. Lots of towels and the shower pressure is good. Although the website says there is no A/C, I’m happy to report there is.

A beautiful and relaxing stay

Our host was gracious and most helpful. I especially appreciated his gentleness with the chickens and geese especially the young ones Our accommodations were marvellous and the beds very comfortable. For me it was the farm and quiet with only the chickens and geese chattering until bedtime. And don’t miss the stars!!

AWESOME Home Away from Home

The 1st Good feeling about this property was when we drove up to it. We were met by our host Andrew - he told us to enjoy our stay and if we needed ANYTHING, just to give him a call. We walked into the house and were taken aback by the size of the kitchen - we knew we'd be able to have several of us cooking at the same time and not get in each other's way. The dining area as well as the 2 bedrooms on the main floor were very sizable. And, if we thought the main floor was great, we were in Awe when we went upstairs. The sitting room was big enough to sit 8+ people very comfortably. The master bedroom was breathtaking and the 2nd bedroom was very spacey. Last, but not least, both bathrooms were immaculate with the one upstairs having a very inviting deep bathtub! If you like the peace of quiet of the countryside and being on a farm setting, this is the place to stay! Andrew is a very hospitable host and would go that extra mile for you should you need it. And - if we thought the views all around the property were great in the winter-time, I cannot wait to see them in the summer! Our family has definitely found our forever rental property (should it be available) when we are having another get-together. My 90 year old father is STILL talking about the Blue House on the Farm!! Thank You Andrew and Family for a much needed, relaxing couple days. To be sure, our next stay will be much longer! Jo-Ann
