Much to be desired…
We wish this house had a little more attention paid to it.
Upon walking in we inspected, as we have a 1 year old. We found a dead wasp in the twin bed bedroom and a wasp nest on the outside of the window. I was told a maintenance person would come out to take care of it, that never happened. We were there for 5 days.
Under the sofa and chair was filthy. If we were going to have people over and use the pull out sofa they would have been so grossed out. There was cereal under the cushions and so many crumbs.
The floors could have been mopped. We not only have a toddler who is walking all the time but we like to be barefoot inside and when I looked at the bottom of my feet they were filthy.
We spilled a few liquids and there was all purpose cleaner but there was only 1 roll of generic paper towels (no refill anywhere) and it was a small roll so they were gone on day 2.
The washer and dryer don’t work and the counter to ceiling cabinet they are plugged into comes off of the wall!
Another annoyance was the TV situation. There was 1 tv in the whole place. The listing says it hosts 8 people. I can’t imagine having to share a tv with 7 other people!
The last thing is the coffee machine issue. I messaged the contact about a missing coffee pot and she said the last guest walked off with it. A basic coffee maker is $25.
Long story short, you can definitely tell this house was bought with all the furniture in it and the rental company just left it there.
