The location was perfect and walkable to the restaurants and shops. We enjoyed evenings on the porch rockers. The kitchen had ample supplies if you want to cook in. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful first visit to Hammondsport.

Checkin was super easy. Property owner super responsive. Excellent location with ample easy parking. Place is small but perfect for two people. Window AC worked well since it was 90 and so humid. Also had ceiling fan which was great. Well stocked kitchen. The only negatives were that some dishes weren't clean in the cupboards which was no big deal. The big negative is the bed should be replaced....you feel every movement on that bed...every time someone turns over. I'd recommend a new mattress for sure.

Loved our stay, location, and convenience

We loved our stay! Having a kitchen is such a bonus. Would love to stay again. Only suggestions would be that the entrance hall is very musty smelling, a little dark to see at night when keying in . Also the house is such a beautiful home and the landscaping has blocked so much of the house compared to the photo that is on the vrbo site. A lot about downstairs windows are blocked and I think a little bit of landscaping would make that house really sparkle!

Had a wonderful time here. Clean, well appointed first floor studio with beautiful architectural details. Steps away from the front porch with rockers to have a glass of wine and watch the passing scene. Perfect location near the town green, restaurants and great coffee at the Service Station Cafe down the street. Walking distance to the lake too.

Great location—however the property needs some updating—the mattress was not stable And the shower was not very big-like a small capsule The kitchen had all the basics—but fragile chairs The exterior did not match the photo—overgrown and the porch had too many old junky items

Hammondsport stay

It was our 2nd time staying here just 2 months apart. Location is wonderful-shops, restaurants and views all close by. Clean and quiet property.

Clean cozy spot in Hammondsport

Stayed for 2 nights. Check in was effortless. The apartment was clean, bed comfortable. The location was great, so close to restaurants and the lake. Lots of wineries nearby. There was coffee and plenty of towels. The porch was great for chilling.

Compact but comfortable

We spent a long weekend at this property and thought that it was great. Hammondsport is a good central location so it is easy to get to other parts of the Finger Lakes. The town has a lot of history and is very nice. This house is right downtown so we walked to very nice places to eat, either across the street or a block away. The house is well-equipped with the essentials. My wife cooked breakfast each day, sometimes eating on the front porch, then we headed off for the days activities and came back to Hammondsport for dinner. The property is just the bedroom, small kitchen, and bathroom but it had all we needed for the time that we were there. It is an older house, divided, so the woodwork is very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Would recommend

The apartment was very clean and smelled fresh. The kitchen was well equipped for a short stay and included coffee but no tea. Good thing that a grocery store and a carry out are both within easy walking distance! The bed was comfortable and there is a front porch where we sat each night to read and people watch. Only 3 tiny complaints- there was no soap for the shower, the shower water temp went from cold to absolutely scalding with almost no turn of the handle, and the entryway to the house smelled heavily of smoke. Those were minor complaints, and I would definitely recommend this home!

Quaint century home right on the edge of town. Very clean with good amenities. Great location if you intend to visit wineries. This was our second visit to the house and we’ll definitely return.

Hammondsport/wine/ concert

The stay was excellent and served the purpose. Our first time to Hammondsport… efficiency in spite of rainy weather and road construction hampered but did not detour from a great weekend/concert/wine tasting and shopping, and dining.

Perfect location in charming town on the lake with many, many things to do. Shall we swim? Fish? Boat? Go wine tasting? Hike? Bike? Take a boat to one of the amazing restaurants right on the lake? Rent a jet ski? Golf? Explore? So many choices.....

Close to EVERYTHING. Nice to have a fully equipped kitchen and large front porch to relax on, cook out, eat dinner outside on the porch and keep your wine cooled.
