Quaint Condo but barely any beach
Cute & comfortable little place for a getaway. It's an older building- could use some standard upgrades, but we don't require fancy, just functional & it was every bit of that! When it says oceanfront, it LITERALLY means oceanfront because erosion has consumed the majority or the actual beach except during the lowest tides. The shore is lined with sandbags the size of minivans- this is not shown in the rental photos. To be able to spend the day on the beach we had to drive to a public beach and pay to park. The one large window style AC unit works great, but you have to leave the bedroom door open & the ceiling fans on to get any air to the back of the condo & the unit is so loud when it runs that it completely drowns the sound from the living room TV which was only an issue in the evening when we wanted to watch a movie. The condo was supplied with most things a person could want or need during their trip. This unit is on the second floor and the stairs were broken up into 3 sections which is very manageable. We love having a shower on the walkway from the ocean to rinse our feet and chairs. The condo was fairly clean when we arrived & came with the linens & paper products needed. There is no washer/dryer in the unit, & you aren't permitted to hang beach towels or suits on the balcony to dry, which was a little frustrating & made for a messy bathroom cleanup, but it is manageable. Very easy check-in/check-out process. All in all a good stay and we would stay here again!
