Our Absolute Beachfront Villa 47 is the perfect place for an island escape.
This villa has breath taking beach front views which expand across Moreton Bay, where you can see the silhouettes of the Glass House Mountains.
Accommodating up to 6 guests this villa has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a sleepout.
Completely self contained, downstairs is open plan living with the kitchen/dining/lounge room opening up onto a deck, perfect for outdoor dining and entertaining.
There is also a second bathroom and laundry facilities.
Upstairs you can enjoy the private balcony off the main bedroom - perfect for sunset drinks or an early morning cuppa. Also upstairs is the extra bedroom, sleepout and bathroom.
All linen is included in your stay, along with access to resort facilities making this a great place for an island escape or family holiday.

Amazing location so close to Brisbane

The resort is really well maintained and is remarkable that this is so close to Brisbane. The apartment was clean and comfortable and well presented. The sunsets across the bay were amazing. The location just near the car park was handy for unloading.

Great location

Nice and handy vila , close to water , just disappointed with fans not working properly, and air-conditioning not working 😕.

We always love Tangalooma

The property manager of this property was top notch… Colleen was always on the ball with community and was trying to constantly problem solve to make our stay better. Unfortunately the property was a bit of a let down. It stated that it slept 8 people but only accommodated 6 comfortably, having to sleep our 7th guest on a couch. This wasn’t really a major problem though… The air conditioning did not work and we spent our holidays dealing with workmen. The fans also didn’t work… so made for hot sweaty nights. We stay on Tangalooma every year as a family and this property was probably our least favourite.

Awful experience

The property is quite dated and has not been maintained well. The fridge has a sign on it saying "Warning - the fridge temperature is set for a reason. If you adjust the temperature the fridge may shut down''. The host thinks that this is normal rather than a sign that the fridge is breaking/broken. This pretty much sets the tone for the entire stay. Throughout the stay we had 1 day without any hot water and then the last 3 days of the stay there was absolutely no air-conditioning. When we contacted the host she was of the opinion that the ceiling fans (which only work on a low setting and are also essentially broken/breaking) should be adequate. It was most definitely not. Unfortunately the host runs most of the other rental properties on the island and despite there being other villas available with airconditioning she refused to move us to another one. Even when we booked a new one at full price so that we coule get some sleep in the heat, she rejected the booking claiming that is we were not happy with the ceiling fans then the new accommodation's airconditioner would not satisfy us either. For some reason the host believes that barely working ceiling fans are equivalent to proper functioning air conditioning. Prior to the airconditioning breaking the villa was ok. Its close to the car park and bins if you like that in a property. It is quite far to the pool and resort areas of the island compared to the other properties.
