Great spot especially if wanting to go to Cousin's Beach!! All the amenities of home, clean, and homey. Not far from Summerside or Charlottetown so it's well located! Also you have your privacy from the other cottages with a nice deck with chairs. Would definitely come again!!

Beautiful cottage and property. Well equipped and clean. Close to beaches and a short drive to Cavendish. Very responsive hosts. Took a star off because when night fell, the earwigs came out...and they were everywhere.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the cottage, property, location, and your stay with us. We’re sorry about the earwigs! Living in such a natural setting, they can occasionally make an appearance, although it’s certainly not something we experience all the time. We’re glad you let us know so we were able to take care of the situation. Thank you again for your feedback and for staying with us. We really appreciate it and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back!

The cottage was super clean and easy to access. The grounds on the property are beautiful and well maintained. We spent 3 nights in cottage #2 with our teens and had plenty of towels and even some shampoo/cream like in a hotel. The host responded very fast to my message and provided very detailed information both for our arrival and departure. The only thing to note is the mattress in our room was very loud whenever we moved, but everything else was great, so still 5 stars all around! There was also a nice little fire pit in the shared area, but we didn't see anyone use it while we were there. We would definitely go back again if we ever decide to go back to PEI.

Beautiful cottage in beautiful area

We loved our stay in this little cottage. It is located near beautiful fields and feels private. The beaches nearby are better than the national parks. Such a sweet little place to be. We wish we could have stayed weeks! We drove by other cottages all week and each time we were so grateful we booked this one. Thanks so much to the hosts for a great stay.

A Great Cottage for PEI Fun!

Had a lovely few days at this cottage in late July. It's nicely decorated inside, and has plenty of beds for adults and kids. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of towels. The owners were so friendly and great about communicating the whole time we were there. I would love to visit again sometime!

Great home away from home!

Our stay at Harbour Lights was very enjoyable. The cottages were beautifully renovated, cozy and comfortable. The property is nicely laid out, with this cottage in particularly providing great privacy. I very much enjoyed morning on the deck with the peacefulness surrounding. The hosts are amazing people. Communication from the start was responsive and very accommodating, right through to the end of our stay. They added many little touches to ensure that our stay on the island was wonderful!

Nice little place

Very clean a little too far from what we wanted to do, but that’s my fault. The Internet was really bad There was no cable to watch TV when it rained.

Thank you for your feedback Colette. We apologize for the slow internet you experienced during your stay. After investigating, we have since replaced the router to ensure better connectivity for future guests. At the same time, we also replaced the SmartTV with a newer model to access all the streaming apps! Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future. All the best!

Small but cosy

Small cottage but good enough for a landing space while you explore the island. It contains all the basic if you prefer to cook rather then going to local restaurants. Bedding is comfortable but bed and AC a tad noisy. TV is useless as not connected to anything.

If guests have trouble connecting the SmartTV to their phone, Netflix, Disney+ or Prime we suggest messaging the hosts who are happy to help. Thank you.

Excellent experience

My family and I were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the cabin. We loved the setup in the yard and the cabin was very clean and cozy, and the decor was very well done. The property owners came to greet us upon arrival to see if we had everything we needed. They were more than accomodating and thought of the smallest details. We purchased some wood from the canteen, run by the daughter, very great customer service and she offered a variety of items. My family and I are looking forward to our stay there next year and I will highly recommend to friends and family.

We moved to PEI 4 years ago and it's been the best decision ever. We love this island. We LOVE being hosts... we meet so many amazing people, hear so many life stories and our kids get to help run the family business. It's truly a joy to live here.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

French River was one of the first beaches we explored when we landed here. French River beach (known by the locals as Yankee Beach) is our favourite beach on the whole island. There is a coastal walk along the cliffs that ends with an old abandoned lighthouse. It's magical.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Being so close to French River, Harbour Lights offers a true PEI charm. It captures the feeling of days gone by — slow afternoons, peaceful views, and a simpler pace of life. With 8 cottages on one property, it’s the perfect spot for families and friends to stay together. It’s spacious enough to host multiple families, yet small enough to feel quaint, cozy, and homey.
