Discover the magic of coastal living in our holiday rental at the charming town of Narooma, often hailed as the crown jewel of NSW. Nestled enticingly close to the beach, our original old fashioned weatherboard cottage named '15 Clarke Street, Narooma' presents a duo of tranquillity and adventure, conveniently tucked away from the hustle yet close to the spirited town centre.

Secluded amidst the captivating allure of nature, this pet-friendly gem accommodates up to 6 guests with three cozy bedrooms. A fully equipped kitchen with a range of appliances, including an oven, microwave, and refrigerator, while a BBQ waits to host those delightful evening feasts, newly installed split system air-condition unit.

Two of our rooms are furnished with plush double beds, and the third, perfect for children, features two singles.

Pack your day with thrilling adventures or soothing relaxation; snorkelling, surf fishing, and mountain biking are just a few activities on offer. Explorers will rejoice at the proximity to the beach, promising glimpses of marine life, while shoppers can simply stroll into town.

When the day's activities tire you out, return to relax in the inviting living room, complete with free WiFi and a Smart Tv for entertainment. You will however require your own netflix logon.

Adding a cherry on top, air conditioning and heating ensure your comfort no matter the season. Providing linens, towels, a washer and dryer, and essentials such as a toaster, we have spared no effort to make your stay at Narooma an unforgettable one.

There is no driveway, but that on street parking is available, or alternatively, parking in the back yard via the laneway
Complimentary items are supplied to get our guests through the first 2 nights - toilet paper, soap, cleaning essentials and kitchen essentials stocked for guests use.
Linen is provided for your convenience - however beds will not be made.

Tenants must ensure they clean up after their dog prior to departure. (Otherwise excess cleaning fees will apply)

Dogs must be under the owners’ control at all times, must be kept confined in the backyard when not on a lead, must not be allowed to roam the streets, and must not disturb the neighbours.

Guests are fully responsible for the safety of their dog and no liability can be accepted for any misadventure (including as a result of inadequate fencing or escape from yard)
Failure to comply will result in the immediate cancellation of your booking without refund.

A relaxing getaway

This property was amazing for travelling with multigenerational family and a dog. The yard was huge which made it easy to travel with a dog. The property was as described and you could hear the ocean at night. Lovely!

A break in Narooma

Property was in a great location and was handy to all amenities which is excellent and convenient . The yard was suitable for dogs (we have a Border Collie) and was easily accessible. A great time was had by all.

Overall great home.

Well equipped, lovely yard, great home overall all you need for a home away from home, great location short walk to the beach, very quiet neighbourhood, the home was spacious but not too big had to rearrange stuff due to the little one not to grab but we took pictures to put it back the way we went in, needs a baby gate on the laundry if you have a family of little ones, table did slide while we were playing an abundance of board games

Unfortunately had to clean & wash both the bathroom shower and the cutlery before it was usable. Bathroom & toilet situation in need of a major renovation & at least clean. Was really looking forward to having a bath but did not feel like relaxing in the space at all and the bath was simply dangerous and not designed to be a shower bath at all.Lounge was also ikky and place smelt of dog wee with stains on the rug. Garden was so weedy with a very spiky weed to the extent that our dog continually came in with dangerous spike like grass seeds all over her. In the end had to pull these weeds out myself to avoid these painful events.There were also some undies presumably from the previous stay still in the laundry hamper. Rugs had been piled on top of each other in sections to , possibly?cover stains. Lounge was uncomfortable & needed an update.We had seen photos but reality could have only been spotted in an inspection. Coffee maker looked stained, thankfully we had brought our own.Otherwise Narooma itself was lovely & fortunately the weather was good. We would have moved on but having a dog with us meant that may have been challenging plus also the financial situation of having to pay for other accommodation.

Cleanliness is something we take very seriously, so I sincerely apologise for the condition you found the bathroom, cutlery, lounge, and other areas upon arrival. The issues you’ve described — from cleanliness to maintenance and garden upkeep — are not acceptable, and I have already raised them with our housekeeping and maintenance teams for immediate review and rectification. I also appreciate your specific feedback on the bathroom layout, furniture comfort, and garden hazards. This will help us guide the property owner on the urgent updates needed to ensure future guests have a much more comfortable and enjoyable experience. I understand how upsetting it must have been to encounter these issues on arrival, and I regret that we weren’t made aware during your stay so we could have had the opportunity to address them for you at the time. We greatly value your feedback, and while Narooma and the weather made for some bright spots in your visit, I am truly sorry the property itself let you down. I’ll be following up to ensure your comments lead to real improvements.

Lovely old style beach house

We loved staying at this great old style property in a fantastic location. Perfect for a family holiday. We felt like we were staying at the home of friends or family as it was so cosy and well equipped with all the little things you find in a home but not necessarily a rental. Not fancy but fantastic. Only a few minor issues: - linen was provided and the listing said beds wouldn’t be made, which was fine, but when we went to make the beds there was not enough, or rather not correct, linen to make them (eg a lot of doona covers but no double sheets for the 2 double beds, and no fitted sheets), and no towels at all. Because we checked in on an afternoon of a public holiday this made fixing the problem a bit tricky though we eventually got onto someone at the agency who dropped some linen around. - the garden is huge and lovely but there is a large mound of dry cuttings, branches, etc in the back corner which is home to at least a huge lizard or possibly a snake, though I’m hoping the former. Tidying it up (and fixing the broken fence palings) would make it safer for kids and dogs - you might want to mention in the listing that there is no driveway to save confusion in parking - the house is far better equipped than the listing says! You should update it! (Eg the listing says there are no kitchen or bathroom consumables provided but there was in fact soap, shampoo, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, and a wonderfully stocked kitchen). It’s selling the house short :)
