Relaxed Mountain Living
The heart of this home is the light-filled main living area, designed for total comfort and connection. Featuring soaring vaulted ceilings and a classic stone fireplace, the space offers a cozy yet airy sanctuary to unwind after a day on the trails.

A convenient wet bar makes entertaining effortless, while sliding glass doors lead directly to a large private deck—perfect for soaking in the quiet serenity of the surrounding forest.

Step through sliding glass doors onto the deck, where you can breathe in the fresh mountain air or head out onto the trails for hiking, biking, or cross-country skiing.

Bedrooms & Layout
All four bedrooms are tucked away on the second floor for maximum privacy:

Master Suite: Features vaulted ceilings, a King bed, an ensuite bath, and a private deck with forest views.
Bedroom 2: Comfortable King bed.
Bedroom 3: Cozy Queen bed.
Bedroom 4: Perfect for kids, featuring a Twin bunk bed set.
Bathrooms: Includes two full baths upstairs and a convenient powder room on the main level.

🐶 Pet-Friendly: We are happy to welcome your furry friends! This unit is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your dog along for your Tahoe adventure.

Rocky Ridge is a gated 60-acre community in Tahoe City bordering State Forest land, offering immediate access to hiking and mountain biking trails. Residents and guests enjoy premium amenities, including two seasonal swimming pools and spas, tennis and basketball courts, a playground, Bocce Ball, and a private beach with a pier, clubhouse, and volleyball court.

Our open-concept, two-story rentals feature vaulted mountain-style ceilings, rock fireplaces, and fully equipped kitchens. Each unit includes high-speed Wi-Fi, an in-unit washer/dryer, and all linens. Please note that homes are equipped with central heat and fans, while A/C is rare in Tahoe, we’ve provided fans to keep that fresh mountain air circulating!


*Forest View pool is being re-coated in Spring 2026, which may affect the opening date. No refunds will be given.

An amazing stay in Tahoe

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was very impressed with this property. It had more space and amenities than I thought. We had everything needed and more. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Snow plows cleared the roads before the ski resorts opened and the walkways were cleared soon after. Never had to worry about the conditions. The whole property was well maintained and made for an absolutely unforgettable stay.

We loved the condo, area, and managing office. Everything was seamless and clean. And the home has all the necessities. Beds were comfy and sheets were soft. I’m bougie when it comes to bedding and I approved. We will definitely be staying here again. Can’t recommend this condo enough.

Rocky Ridge Vacation Delightful For All

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 3 generations of our family stayed at Rocky Ridge in 2 nearby condos for a week and everyone had a fabulous time. Our unit was conveniently located near the tennis courts and playground, which were used often. Our 3 little ones under 5 especially loved the playground and nearby pool. Their parents frequently enjoyed the hot tub as well. Everyone loved being able to walk from our unit into the forest and trail system. Several of our hikers walked about a 5 mile loop every morning, through the forest, into Tahoe City for a coffee, and back up the RR hill. Great trails, accommodates all levels of walkers. Walking out to the point to enjoy the lake view was a favorite evening activity. While we didn’t use the RR beach as frequently as in the past, we had several from our group who took a refreshing dip in the lake every evening before dinner. A highlight of our week was BBQing hot dogs and hamburgers lakeside at the beach clubhouse to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary with our family—the exact same location where we had our wedding reception 42 years ago! Special memories remembered, and new ones made!The unit was very accommodating for our half of the family, 6 adults and 2 little ones, and one mellow dog. The sleeping arrangements worked well for all three couples and the children in the kids’ room. It was well stocked. We appreciated having plenty of paper towels, TP, laundry soap, waste basket liners and Kleenex, things which often run out in rental units. They even provided a high chair which was helpful, and a dog crate.Overall, everyone of all ages had a wonderful week, and was able to enjoy many special activities together. Our units were close enough, we could walk back and forth, and enjoy dinners all together at alternating condos. Delightful week for all! We’ll definitely be back!!

More instructions are needed to turn off/on the bear mats and bungees. (We saw a big one! The bunk beds had a broken ladder and safety rail on the top bunk. The oven did not work at all. We had brought things to make dinners in and wanted to make a cake for a birthday, so that was disappointing. Stove top burners worked fine. Great location.

The home was perfect for our group and featured very comfortable beds and luxury linens. It was the perfect spot to stay at and enjoy Palisades. It’s also a very walkable complex with stunning views of the lake just steps away. I would definitely stay here again.
