Beautiful resort in the Everglades
This resort is close to everything you might want to explore, but nestled in the middle of nature where you can relax and breathe. The grounds are beautifully maintained with gorgeous flowers, palm trees, and tropical plants surrounding the pathways and the sparkling pool with plenty of lounge chairs and tables with tiki umbrellas. There is a free continental breakfast each morning at the tiki bar outside the restaurant in the pool area. The food and service at the restaurant is fabulous and the have a bakery where you can find colorful pastries of all varieties. We stayed in a very nice studio which had everything we needed. We are really hard to please when it comes to mattresses and pillows, but that is the only thing we would have upgraded. They also have a small kitchenette and a few dishes, stovetop, refrigerator, and microwave which we used daily. There is an amazing gym, sauna, additional showers, and lovely game room in the hotel that is open to all guests. There are also tennis and pickle ball courts, a marina, and a small store on site. The management was always helpful from a smooth check-in through friendly service just a phone call away if needed. The location of the resort is phenomenal and close to the Everglades and within driving distance for day trips through the Everglades, to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and many beaches. This is a hidden gem and we were fortunate to have found it! Thank you for your hospitality!
