Perfect for a big family holiday – two homes on one spacious property!
Escape to nature with two charming homes on one property, nestled just outside the main town. Surrounded by tranquil bushland and natural beauty, this peaceful retreat offers the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway.
The main house is generously sized, perfect for hosting, while the second home is a smaller, newly renovated gem—ideal for extra guests or a bit of added privacy. Together, these two homes can comfortably accommodate up to 17 guests, making it a great spot for family gatherings or a fun weekend with friends.
There’s plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, with a quiet setting perfect for a BBQ and catching up under the stars. Please note: the driveway is steep and parking is limited to 4 cars. If you’re bringing more vehicles, we recommend parking on the street. Access to the second house involves a short walk down a set of stairs.
Conveniently located just 2.5km from town and only an 800m walk to the nearest beach, the property sits right between Ōpua and Paihia. You’re also just a short drive from the car ferry to Russell, making it a great base to explore the stunning Bay of Islands.

Originally from South Africa, we made New Zealand our home in 2007, and this house has become our go-to escape. It’s not fancy—it’s just pure holiday fun. Unpack, switch off the screens, and soak in the peace and quiet of nature.
