Our stay at the cottage was everything you could hope for. The host has thoughtfully labeled everything in the house, left a very helpful manual for check-in, and overall the house is clean, well-furnished, and comfortable and in a central location where most points of interest in the greater Tampa Bay area are no more than a half hour away. I will 100% recommend this rental and host, and I plan on staying there again my next trip back to Largo/St. Petersburg.

Clean & Cozy

I stayed here for several weeks while working in the area and found this house to be very cozy. It has a nice backyard where you can eat diner on the patio and sit along the canal and enjoy a cold snack and the wildlife. The host couple were very friendly and communication was easy. This was a very pleasant stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed having Steve at our Cozy Canal Cottage. He was such a pleasure to host. He’s kind, quiet, respectful, and took care of our home like it was his own. Our place was left in great shape and all the house rules were followed. We welcome him back any day of the week and recommend him to any future hosts.

Perfect rental!

This is our second time booking this place and we were just as happy as the first. Everything was smooth and easy to deal with. Check in was stress free. Overall an awesome experience. And even with the canal levels low we still managed to pull some pretty big fish in. This will be my go to rental for 2-4 people.

Perfect for us

Exactly as described - except the canal is almost empty due to last fall's hurricanes - perhaps pic should be updated or removed. Host was accessible but really never needed. Fitted our expectations and needs prefectly.
