3 dormitorios y 2 baños tiene sólo 18 km de Chiang Mai, al pie de las montañas en un exuberante en "bucle famoso Hang Dong-Samoeng '

Nuestra casa muy limpia y muy bien cuidada (que incluso nos construimos hay sólo 7 años de edad) y la piscina y el jardín se mantienen regularmente entre las diferentes estancias.

La casa tiene un techo / terraza cubierta de más de 50 M2 ideal para tomar una copa o cenar por la noche con la familia con vistas a las montañas. La terraza y el gas equiee, fregadero y nevera.

Alles war genauso wie beschrieben, arg viel besser geht nicht.

Villa und Garten waren sehr sauber und gepflegt, Pool war super, sehr nette, freundliche und Hilfsbereite Vermieter, einziger kleiner Minuspunkt war der kreischende Hahn des Nachbarn meistens schon ab 3 Uhr morgens aber das ist in einer etwas ländlicheren Umgebung verkraftbar. Nochmals vielen Dank für alles.

The property is gorgeous! Very comfortable with plenty of privacy

If you’re looking for a beautiful house to call home near Chiang Mai look no further. Hugo Villa is far enough from everything to give you a feeling of LIVING in Thailand but close enough to everything and with enough resources to allow you to visit many grounds and activities. The house is comfortable and functional. We were able to cook and enjoy all amenities with much ease. The host and hostess made everything very clear and easy during our stay. Our tour vans and ride services all found the property very easily.i would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Wonderful Home! Don't miss if if you are looking for a home base in Chiang Mai.

Our family of five (three adult children) went on vacation to Thailand for our first big trip in ten years. It was homes and hospitality like this beauty in Chiang Mai that made the trip so special. As soon as we pulled up to this place, we knew we made the right choice, The rural setting, the modern design. There were audible oohs and ahhs as we checked out the pristine swimming pool, the beautiful master suite, the cool stone/granite indoor/outdoor baths, open kitchen and the central integrated sunk-in living room. It made for an inspiring aesthetic, but also facilitated great family time We were delighted from start to finish. Add to that the great personalities and spirit of helpful hospitality demonstrated by our hosts, Frederic and Ning - we couldn't ask for more. Thanks to you both. Fond memories!

A Great Place To Relax!

We loved the Villa! We did out hiking, elephant riding, and tourist activities before coming to the Villa, so we were tired and ready to relax. There six of us and the villa accommodated us great! The pool is amazing. We cooked all our meals there and the kitchen was very adequate and stocked with some of the basics, which was wonderful. Everything was amazing and we really enjoyed Ning, who was there for us in special ways. Would encourage our friends to come here if they are in Thailand.

Very Hospitable!

We enjoyed our stay at Hugo Villa. The rural setting is a nice way to get in touch with the quieter side of Chiang Mai. Frederic and his family were very accommodating and hospitable. They were always available to answer any questions and checked in on us to ensure all was going well. We really appreciated the help coordinating transport to/from the city center along with our airport transfers. Many thanks!!

Perfect hosts and a great house!

Went to Chiang Mai for 9 days, 3 adults and rented this beautiful house, in the hills 15 min from Chiang Mai. We were not disappointed as Ning and Fred plus their designated drivers were really great for us. Ning picked us at the airport and we stop for food and groceries at the local market. By the way, don't waste your time on cooking, the food at the market is cheap and so good. Fred and Ning were perfect hosts for recommending day trips and often took us themselves. Don't miss the Elephant trek and Doh Inthanon, these were the highlights as well as the Sunday Night market in town. We felt like part of their family, rare thing these days. Again tks to Ning and Fred! We miss you already. We hope to see you in Canada soon. P.S. Great house!

Wonderful villa, very friendly host

We stayed 3 days at the villa and liked it very much. Fred is a wonderful host, he welcomed us warmly, showed us around and had good recommendations for food and restaurants. The villa was exactly as shown in the pictures, very clean and everything was working. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and relax. One minor point: you have to be aware that the villa is next to the road to Samoeng so there is traffic noise. That is the reason why I only give 4 stars. Besides that the villa is perfekt and deserves 5 stars for sure! Martina and Thomas from Germany

Absolument unique

Nous avons séjourné à 6 adultes chez Fred durant 5 nuits pour débuter un séjour Thaïlande et Cambodge. Tout était bien conforme à ce que nous attendions : propreté, service, équipement. Fred nous a conseillé pour découvrir les trésors de Chiang Mai en réglant tous les détails des excursions en songthaew, ces pickup aménagés pour transporter jusqu'à 10 voyageurs. En fin de journée, un massage à domicile avant un bon resto en ville et un dernier verre au bord de la splendide piscine. Les plus : confort, passion du service, soin des détails. Olivier Les moins : parfois un peu bruyant en début de soirée.

Awesome Villa in Chiang Mai

Book confidently. My daughters (ages 13 and 16), my niece (age 27), and I stayed at this beautiful Villa in July. The home was as pictured, modern, and perfect for our family. My daughters used the pool and I especially enjoyed the outdoor shower (don't worry, they have an indoor one too). It's situated about 10 min from downtown. We had no problems getting around via taxi. Our host, Pac, drove us around as well. The owner's home is nearby, so there is no problem getting help (as needed). I think someone in an earlier review noted there was no air conditioning, but there is (in the bedrooms), which is where you need it. Booking the property with Fred was very easy. He made sure that we got picked up safely from the airport, even though we were delayed by the airlines. Pac, Fred's nephew, was unbelievable. He drove us downtown several times (for a nominal fee), helped us get groceries, cooked dinner for us (and taught us how to cook Thai)! He became our friend very quickly and we were so sad to say goodbye to the beautiful house and to Pac. He drove us to the bus station to catch a bus to Chiang Rai. When the last train left before we got there, Pac made sure to find a driver to take us safely to Chiang Rai. He even called to make sure we arrived safely. He was a gentleman and a great host. Don't stay in a hotel, when you can stay here in comfort. I wish we could have stayed longer!!

A Wonderful week in Chiang Mai

What a wonderful place to stay. We would highly recommend this villa. It was well furnished including very comfortable beds (which are a must). There were four of us and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Lots of pots and pans and other things if you feel the need to cook. The pool was great (although cool) and we loved sitting upstairs and enjoying the nice cool breeze. Fred and his family are fabulous. He picked us up at the airport and delivered us back - our only regret is not spending more time with his adorable children! The driver was amazing - not only was the price great, but the service was incredible. They arrived on time and were always accomodating to our very early and sometimes very late schedule. I would highly recommend that you use the driver instead of a car unless you plan on a lot of driving - it is much easier not to have to worry about parking or directions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Hugo and hope to make it back again as soon as possible. A HUGE thank you to Fred for making it such a wonderful vacation.

Perfect home away from home

In July 2014 I stayed at this beautiful villa with my husband, 13 year son and 11 year old nephew. This villa is as amazing as it looks. The photo's are a true and honest representation of everything both inside and out. To start...booking the property was so easy. We had regular communication with the owner (Fred) who was happy to answer any questions we may have had. From where to get a massage to how secure the yard is for kids. We were concerned about booking a private property online so after paying a small deposit we paid the balance on arrival. Communication was always prompt and very very helpful. Even whilst Fred was travelling in Nepal and France we received prompt email responses. A lovely person to deal with. On arrival we were greeted at the airport and taken to the villa. What a lovely welcome. After our questions were answered our lovely host left us with contact details should we require any assistance. The villa itself is stunning. Located approximately 10-15 minutes drive away from the city hustle and bustle along a pretty local road. It is easy to find and in an area where we felt very safe. The bedrooms and living areas are large and the fully equipped kitchen has every thing you could need. As for the pool....amazing! Everything was spotlessly clean. We really felt at home. Having space to spread out and relax was great. The outdoor area in general is also large and well equipped. Beautiful plants, grass, fruit trees and furniture. If you have kids you can see the pool pretty much from anywhere on the property. The only suggestion I would make for this property is to install air conditioning. We were provided with ample fans but aircon would definitely help guests to deal with the Chiang Mai heat. Other than that, this villa is perfect! I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Chiang Mai. Don't stay in a small hotel room in the city when you can have a luxury pool villa for a better price. I look forward to one day being able to visit Hugo Villa again.

Great Hideaway!

The Hugo house is a great place for families that would like to go to Thailand but avoid the hustle and bustle of the city. Frederick was very helpful. Not only did he meet us at the airport, he also provided much information, suggestions and helpful tips (even offering a game of tennis and ping pong). The house was clean and had all the necessary appliances and cooking facilities that made our stay comfortable – especially the pool which we took full advantage of. There is also an upstairs entertaining area if you want to relax. If you need to hire a car – Frederick can provide that also on a daily basis. On the first day we arrived, Frederick let me drive his car into town and he came with us to show us how to get to the local restaurants both Thai and Western, outdoor markets and the International Food Store. This helped us to settle in quickly. The house is located on a tourist drive, with a pleasant easy drive that curls around the mountains, passing through strawberry farms, small towns, mountain lookouts and other tourist attractions such as the Tiger Kingdom and Elephant Park. It’s about a 20 minute drive into town but when we had had enough of the city we were happy to run off to this hideaway on the foot of the mountians, soak in the pool and with a cocktail.

Déception

Nous avions loué cette maison car (à l'époque) le descriptif mentionnait notamment la climatisation et une maison calme. Nous n'avons pas trouvé de clim et le propriétaire a bien vite modifié le descriptif sur l'annonce ! La maison se situe en proximité immédiate d'une route (de l'autre côté du mur qui longe la piscine) et quand un camion passe on ne peut plus s'entendre parler. On sait que les thaïlandais se lèvent tôt, donc circulent tôt. Comme il n'y a pas de clim, on est tenté de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes mais la route est trop bruyante ! Le propriétaire n'étant pas sur place, nous avons été reçu par une amie qui nous a renseigné comme elle a pu car aucun conseils, recommandations, explications n'étaient disponibles sur place : où sont les supermarchés ? comment fait-on pour les poubelles ? comment ça se passe pour l'eau, etc ??? Aucun conseil de visites, resto, ballades non plus... La maison est correcte mais nécessiterait quelques réparations : la poignée de la machine a laver est cassée donc très difficile à manipuler, le tuyau d'évacuation fuit et l'eau se répand par terre, une partie des lampes autour de la piscine sont cassées. Nous avons poursuivi notre séjour en Thaïlande en louant une autre maison à Koh Phangan et heureusement c'était magnifique et magique et nous avons enfin pu profiter de ce très pays !

Magnifique villa et accueil extraordinaire

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour, la villa est parfaite et comme sur les photos .Les propriétaires sont super quand vous arrivez là- bas c'est comme si vous arriviez dans votre famille . Ils sont toujours disponibles à l’écoute de toute vos demandes et Fred le proprio il est passionné de la Thaïlande et il organise des superbes excursions . Je ne trouve pas les mots exacts pour décrire le séjour que nous avons passé mais nous avons déjà fait plusieurs fois la Thaïlande et je n'ai jamais connu des personnes aussi gentilles et attentionnés nous nous sommes senti comme chez nous d’ailleurs nous serions bien restés pour toujours.

Wonderful House and Operator

My family stayed at Hugo Villa and we were wonderfully surprised. This villa is exactly like the photos. It is in perfect condition...both the interior and exterior! The rooftop lounge is fantastic and the pool is perfect. The rooms, furniture and appointments are perfect, and the whole property is gated. We found that the owner, Fred, could not be more helpful. He always ensured that we had whatever was needed for the villa. And he gave us many directions so we could get to the many nearby tourist attractions. Fred lives in the house next door, so he was always available to help or offer assistance. I would recommend that you have a car, motorbike or bike to get around. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Hugo Villa and would go back the next time that we are in Chiang Mai!
