If you're dates aren't showing available, please message! Come and relax in the hot tub!! The home has an open concept living area and eat in kitchen to visit with friends and family after a long day at the beach or shopping. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with queens size beds and 1 bedroom with a full size bunk bed. You can also enjoy grilling on the back patio or talking and laughing by the fire. Whether it's relaxing on the beach or fishing, Lake Michigan is just a hop, skip and a jump.

The neighborhood is a guiet residential neighborhood.

Access is via keypad lock.


The living space is an open concept living space. There are 3 bedrooms. 2 have queen beds and 1 has a full size bunk in it. One full size bath with a large walk in shower and one half bath. All bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the main floor. The laundry facility is located in the basement. There is a concrete patio with a gas grill and table/chairs located off the back of the house. Large back yard with a fire pit and adirondack chairs. Coming in August the owners will be installing a hot tub as well.

Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and sign and agree to our rental conditions.

The property was absolutely clean and cute! We enjoyed our 10 minute walk to the beach, and relaxed in the hot tub often. Would highly recommend this gem to anyone traveling to Michigan City!

This was perfect for our family of 6. It was walking distance to beach and zoo. The beach was wonderful. The house even had a beach cart, beach chairs, towels and beach toys to use. House was clean and plenty of space to hang out. Did many meals there and hung out in hot tub a few times too. Would stay again!

Fun spot to stay

Cute home close to the dunes, restaurants, the zoo, park, and shopping. We had to cut our stay short, but it really was an ideal location. If we go back to the park we'll stay here again.

Perfect home away from home

Very comfortable home and an awesome hot tub. Beds were comfortable, we made meals and enjoyed the back yard.

Summer Retreat

Hands down the most comfortable place we’ve stayed. Clean, quiet, just as described. Easy walk to the beach. A couple more full-size beach towels would be a nice add but there are plenty of beach chairs. Will definitely book again.

Great experience!

This was our 1st Vrbo rental and we loved it! The house met all our needs and was very clean. It was really close to the beach, the zoo and parks. This was way better than staying in a hotel and I would recommend this house for anyone looking in Michigan City. 😀

Clean and Comfy!

Our group of four, 2 adults, 2 teenagers, was very comfortable at this cute little cottage. We only had a few days to stay, and our plans changed due to weather issues, but we were able to get to the beaches we wanted to see easily and quickly. We were also able to get to the train station fairly easily for a spontaneous trip to Chicago. We will definitely look this property up for our next trip to Indiana Dunes.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was very cute, updated, and clean! We were very comfortable with the open concept kitchen/living room. The kids loved the space too.

Relaxing Getaway

The house was very clean and well maintained. It was about a 7 minute walk to the beach up the road and down a wooded trail. Beach was beautiful and clean. We had a wonderful and relaxing getaway!

Great property

The stay was great! Love how beautiful the property is. My only concern is the ring Camara on the front door. I felt because of that, there was no real privacy. I felt odd because they were definitely watching all who came in. It made me feel some type of way. Something was actually said to me about the number of guest that were there. which confirmed we were being watched. Majority of guest were people just coming to get food and say hi because I came from Georgia for the holidays. I didn't leave there house trashed like someone would, it wasn't no loud music or paries. Really didn't appreciate being watched. As beautiful as that place is and affordable I wont stay there again because I felt watched.
