La cabaña en la granja de la colina del eje ha sido reconstruida completamente de la losa para arriba.
Nos esforzamos para proporcionar a nuestros huéspedes con tanto de un "en casa" sentir como cualquier alquiler de vacaciones puede proporcionar. Se sienta dentro de un patio cercado; un patio y un jardín privado para que pueda disfrutar de la tranquilidad del Hill Country bien distanciado de la puerta de entrada. También hay muchos lugares para caminar y caminar dentro y fuera de nuestra propiedad, así como frente al río privado para disfrutar durante su estancia.

Estamos ubicados ¼ de milla de Hunt, Texas, entre Schumacher Crossing y el Hunt Crossing. Numerosos campamentos de verano se encuentran a pocos minutos de nuestra puerta, y estamos muy cerca de varios buenos restaurantes. También muy cerca hay varios campos de golf, bodegas y museos.

La casa de 2 dormitorios / 2 baños está detrás de acceso cerrado y se sienta cómodamente en el lado de una colina con vistas al Valle del río Guadalupe a continuación. Está ubicado a un costado y ligeramente detrás de la casa principal en el área del patio. La casa está bien equipada con cada habitación tiene su propio sistema de aire acondicionado nuevo y nuevos ventiladores de techo para proporcionar el máximo confort para dormir. El dormitorio delantero tiene una cama King y el dormitorio de atrás tiene 2 camas individuales con una cama de día adicional y retiro abajo. Hay alojamientos para dormir hasta 6 personas. Cada habitación tiene su propio cuarto de baño independiente, incluyendo lavabos nuevos y azulejos nuevos y duchas de cristal. Cada habitación viene con televisores Direct HD de pared y Wi-Fi. La cocina tiene un nuevo refrigerador / congelador con máquina de hielo, nueva estufa de gas, y nuevo Breville Smart Horno. Un señor Cafetera se proporciona para su comodidad y conveniencia. También hay una parrilla de gas para cocinar al aire libre en el patio. Para nuestros huéspedes que planean estancias más largas, la cabaña está completa con una lavadora con una secadora de gas y limpieza opcional se pueden arreglar. De lo contrario, la limpieza se completa después de su estancia.

Poseemos acceso privado y fachada de aguas profundas en el río Guadalupe. Hay un montón de espacio para el acceso dentro y fuera del agua de nuestras instalaciones de hormigón y roca. Además, ofrecemos tubos para su placer flotante y hay 2 kayaks disponibles. Natación, pesca, kayak y flotando en los tubos son sólo algunas de las actividades agradables que el río tiene para ofrecer. Nuestras instalaciones privadas del río se puede acceder en vehículo o un corto paseo desde la casa y se sienta a una distancia cómoda de la carretera para su privacidad.

Beautiful property, great location

I really enjoyed my stay at the cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. The inside is nicely updated and the outdoor patio area was lovely with lots of shade. The property sits up on a hill with lovely view and nice breeze. River access is right across the road so very easy to get to. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful river - a little piece of heaven!

We were welcomed like family and helped with everything we had questions about, the hosts are amazing! The cottage was small but what we needed. The river access is amazing- a piece of heaven! There is a very nice dock to get in the water that has ample seating/sitting area, it is a nice deep part of the river with amazing trees all around. They have kayaks, inner tubes, and a big floating foam mat in the water that kept our kids and us entertained in the water for hours! Do note, you have to drive from the cottage to the river which is just across the highway, but it’s not even a 5 minute drive. Also noteworthy is that the bedroom with the 4 twin beds is one big room that is open and continuous with the kitchen and dining room. We enjoyed the beautiful property up on the hill from the porch for coffee in the mornings and cooking out and making s’mores over the fire pit in the evening. It was a great stay!

Another wonderful stay!

As always this property is an amazing stay! The private riverfront is so peaceful and tranquil it takes the stress right out of you. It reminds me so much of my time at nearby Camp Stewart when I was a kid. The cabin is very nice and I love the hill country view from the porch. The only thing I would like is for the cabin to have a full size oven instead of a toaster oven, but it wasn't anything that was going to hinder our stay. We will definitely return soon!

Perfect spot for us!

The location couldn't have been better, and the host as well! What a lovely spot near everything we wanted to do and see. Nancy was delightful, and so helpful! The cottage had everything we needed, and we slept so well. Wish we'd had more time to relax on the porch or the patio, because it was delightful.

Perfect Hill Country cottage

Nancy’s cottage on a hill is a great escape to the Hill Country. It’s laid back Hunt at its best! Nancy is a great host and the riverfront is gorgeous. Can’t wait to go back!

Family Reunion 2023

Axis Hill Farm was a wonderful place to stay. Nancy was the best host! Location was so close to everything in the Hunt area. The river dock located on rare deep water of the Guadalupe River was very private and beautiful. The Cottage immaculately clean. It had two spacious room that were appointed in charming Texas Hill Country style. The beds were comfortable for all. The internet access was strong. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The views were breathtaking. Excellent value for the rate. I look forward to staying there the next time we visit the Texas Hill Country.

My happy place

My daughter and I think of Dick's property and river front as our place of Zen! I have a picture of the river as my screensaver. We've been twice and used both cabins. They are wonderful as is Dick as a host. We plan to return often.

River Relaxation

We love the area and the river access was perfect. We had everything needed to relax on the river. The cottage was perfect. We had expected two private bedrooms but was actually two rooms. But worked out fine for three of us. Place would be great for camp pick up and we will stay again!

Outstanding stay in Hunt TX!

We stayed at this property for three nights after we dropped our kids off at nearby Summer camps. It was one of the best decisions we ever made! The cabin is very cozy and has all the essentials. The beds were very comfortable and vastly exceeded my expectations. Our group slept better there than we have in a long time. A good bed can make or break a trip and these beds helped. The cabin is quiet and secluded with nice views of the nearby hills. We did a lot of relaxing outside in the evening. There are two grills on-site and a fire pit, while we didn’t use them, we just might the next time we return. The waterfront is the best part of this rental. There were plenty of floats, canoes, and other pool toys there for us to use including a bathroom which was unexpected. The river is quite simply an amazing experience that brought back many pleasant memories of nearby Camp Stewart where I went when I was a kid. The waterfront is private so you don’t have to worry about sharing it with the public. It was so quiet and peaceful that we spent most of our time at the riverfront. The riverfront is well shaded and offers perfect relief against the 100 degree temperatures we were experiencing while we were there. The water was also quite cool and was very inviting to swim. One other note worth mentioning is that both the property and riverfront have been well treated for pest control. I didn’t see a single fire ant the entire time we were there. The grounds have also been well maintained. Mr Colvin is a great host and he checked on us personally to make sure our stay was first rate. Our family cannot wait until our next opportunity to return!

Wonderful Vacation Rental w-nearby Guadalupe River Access

We are active grandparents and took 4 grandchildren ages (4 - 10) to Hunt, to attend the Memorial Day Weekend Kerrville Arts Festival, and spend time on the Guadalupe River. We've been to the Arts Festival many times over 10 years, but have never taken little children with us. We had a remarkable stay in this Cottage, and it was perfect for children because there is a large side yard that is completely fenced, roomy and safe for the children to play. There is an outdoor table and chairs, and chairs on the front porch to sit and watch the children. The River is literally across Texas 39 from the Cottage, and has private access to the Guadalupe. If you have children, they can't just run down a hill and be in the River, so this is safer. The family has had this property on the River for decades (we were told), and it is classic Hill Country Guadalupe, with cool green water about 8 feet deep, towering Cypress Trees and a white stone deck patio area just like the pictures show. The famous Hunt Store is literally 6/10ths of a mile west on 39. The interior of the Cottage is actually better than the pictures show, because there are now 3 twin beds and one queen bed. Easily room for 4 children. It is also perfect for two couples, with the two separate rooms providing adequate sleeping areas and privacy. There are some seasonings in the kitchen. I would suggest that you bring your own coffee to use in the coffeemaker. There were adequate kitchen cookware and utensils to cook with. No dishwasher, but there is a washer-dryer in the attached laundry room. If you want to be in Hunt near the River, I can't think of a better location.

Perfect Getaway

Host was spot on with directions and gave us helpful info about surrounding area before our trip so it was an easy checkin/checkout experience. Property was beautiful and had a relaxing atmosphere. We had an amazing time at this house and on the river. My main concern was that we would have to go far for the river access but it was closer than I thought and easy to get to. All the water toys/equipment (kayaks, noodles, life jackets, foam mat, etc) were well taken care of and the gazebo, picnic table, extra chairs, bathroom, were pluses. Everything was clean and there were no issues inside or outside the property. We all enjoyed our stay and our kids are asking to go back again!
