Nuestro condominio de 3 dormitorios está ubicado en el histórico pueblo pesquero de Salter Path / Indian Beach en los bancos exteriores del sur de Carolina del Norte.
Tenemos una unidad en el segundo piso en el gran complejo Summer Winds. Ubicado a pocos pasos del elevador, el condominio cuenta con una cocina de concepto abierto (con barra de desayuno), sala de estar y comedor. La sala de estar tiene muchos asientos y un televisor de pantalla plana de 42 'con DVD Blue-Ray. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama queen con TV de pantalla plana de 32 'w / DVD y un baño principal en suite. Tanto la habitación de huéspedes # 2 como la # 3 tienen camas de tamaño completo y fácil acceso al baño de invitados en el pasillo. Nuestro condominio cuenta con un nuevo sistema de aire acondicionado, un calentador de agua caliente y una combinación de lavadora y secadora. Hay 3 piscinas al aire libre y 1 piscina cubierta climatizada de agua salada dentro del complejo deportivo. Diviértete jugando tenis, racquetball o caminando por la playa buscando conchas y observando a los delfines jugar en las olas. Comunidad cerrada con seguridad las 24 horas. Contamos con numerosas comodidades para que se sienta relajado y cómodo en nuestro condominio.

Everything you need for a relaxing getaway

Property was very clean and spacious. The complex was also very clean and private beach access was terrific. Family orientated condominium, so generally quiet and felt very safe. Internet speed was woeful and tv remote didn't work but these were little things.

Beautiful ocean view!

We had a great time with no issues. Comfortable, open floor plan. Very clean. NIce bathroom upgrades. Convenient access to beach, pool, snack bar, and on-site sports complex. We plan to stay here again. I would recommend to friends and family.

Awesome vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo is extremely clean and comfortable. It had all the linens we needed, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, everything we needed was there. The coastal decor is beautiful and relaxing. This condo complex is very family friendly. We enjoyed the close walk to the beach access, large pools, and Ginger's Cafe is very convenient. We would definitely rent this place again if we had the opportunity!

Michael is super nice and great to work with. We very much enjoyed our stay. The space was perfect for a family of 4. The recent updates are very nice and it was clean. Having a washer and dryer was great. It was everything we needed for a relaxing time. Thank you, Michael, for being so accommodating.

Very good location, nice complex with security and friendly staff.

First visit to the SOBX, very nice location and pretty quiet even in busy Summer season. The unit was well laid out and comfortable. The location both at the Summer Winds and the condo itself was very convenient. Great ocean views, clean and secure complex. Had more products and supplies than expected. Used mostly our own linens and towels but was adequately stocked. Owner Michael was very responsive and available. An updated kitchen would be all that would probably be needed, and some room darkening curtains in master bedroom. Would recommend the unit and the complex without a doubt if looking in the area. RES

Amazing view, clean condo, amenities galore

The condo was just as pictured. It was clean, well stocked, and conveniently located between Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach. This meant many wonderful options for entertainment and dining. We have 2 teenagers that loved the pool, beach, and snack bar :) I would highly recommend this condo. We plan to return and wouldn’t even consider staying some place different. The staff at Summerwinds were superb! We had family visiting and they went out of their way to accommodate us. We were very impressed. The condo was right off the elevator and the facility had carts available which made hauling our bags and groceries to the condo simple. I would highly recommend this rental for families or couples. Thank you Michael! Your place is lovely.

Beautiful condo with gorgeous view.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed ourselves at this condo. Our kids enjoyed the large pool, from which you can see from the patio, and the many trips to the ocean. Great stay

Was as nice as every picture you see. Very well kept. Very large for 6, we had 8 so 2 stayed in living room. Owner was easy to work with. Our first HomeAway stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a low key beach and pool stay. Kitchen was well stocked. Even had blender for drinks. Washer and dryer came in handy. Family loved it and was very sad to leave. The whole trip was very budget friendly given we had 8 people. 5 stars from a person who rarely gives 5 stars.

It's a nice complex with many amenities but I wouldn't recommend renting from Michael McGinn

The condo was comfortable but we felt like we were being rationed with the towels, etc. We had 7 people staying for the week but were given only 6 towels, 6 washcloths, 2 dish towels & 1 dishcloth so we had to wash towels every day. Unfortunately we didn't notice we were short until our 7th guest arrived on Tuesday so by then there really was no point in calling about it. The door to the master bathroom would not close completely - so much for privacy. The air conditioning didn't work as well in the master bedroom as it did in the other areas of the condo so a ceiling fan would've worked wonders. We had a wonderful time with our family and might have considered coming back until I received an email from the property mgr Michael McGinn saying he wouldn't be returning our deposit. He claimed the towel rod in the hall bathroom was pulled off the wall which is a blatant lie. It was a little loose when we arrived on Saturday but we left it the same as we found it the next Saturday at check out time. Mr. McGinn claimed it would cost the whole deposit to have it repaired because it's the busy season. I asked for a copy of the repair bill and he never answered my email so that just confirms my suspicions that's he's lying. We have been renting vacation homes & condos through VRBO/Home Away for many years and never had any issues until now. If you do rent from Michael McGinn I suggest you take before & after pictures to make sure he doesn't accuse you of damages & steal your deposit. It's only a $100 deposit so it's actually kind of sad he would lie about imaginary damages when he may have made another $1600+ next year when we're looking to go on vacation again.

Absolutely perfect!

We booked this condo for our son's 4th birthday, which was great! The view that this condo provides of the ocean is absolutely stunning. The condo was very clean and all appliances are updated. There isn't anything negative I can say about this home. We are very thankful for the opportunity to stay here and will definitely book again in the future. The pool is very big and even with many other guests, it is not the least bit crowded. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the short walk to beach. All of the Summer Winds staff were very nice as well. The only downside to this stay was that the week seemed to fly by and our 4 year old was very sad to leave. We can't thank you enough for sharing your home!!

It is nice to know that this family has enjoyed the property as much as our family does. My grandmother loves that our family -- and other families -- enjoy it as a summer retreat. My thanks to this family for cleaning the place so nicely and doing the laundry. Please come back any time!

Great Layout and Location!

We really enjoyed our week at this condo. We have a 1 year old and the layout was perfect for us. The view of the ocean and pool are great! The couches and beds are very comfy and there is a very nice and new refrigerator, washer and dryer in the kitchen. The only recommendations I have are a bath mat is needed I. The master bathroom and the checkout time could be a little later like maybe at least 11. As I said we have a baby and we were doing everything we possibly could to make it out by 10am. We would definitely stay here again!

Thank you for your comments. The bathroom mats are my fault -- I will put those out. I wish we could make the check-out time later, but some weeks, especially in July, we have a family coming in the same day. We have a 3 pm check-in time which we like because it allows the incoming family some afternoon time on the beach -- I wouldn't want to go later. By a similar token, I allow families a 30-minute grace period to check out; therefore, we allow a 10:30 - 2:30 window for cleaning and laundry. I hope that makes sense to you. I'm sorry because I know that 10 am is early. Thank you so much for cleaning so nicely. We'd love to rent to you any time!

A perfect place on the beach

We have stayed in this unit a few times and can highly recommend it. It is well maintained and the furnishings give it a "beach house" feeling. Two of the bedrooms and a bathroom are off a separate hall providing for privacy. The kitchen is well equipped and a washer and dryer in the unit are very useful. There is a short walk to the very large pool, hot tub and beach. The beach goes on for miles and there are scarcely any high rises. Many dolphins swim by. There are many activities in the complex and for rainy days there's an activity centre with snacks, games, ping pong, racquet ball, exercise room, sauna and indoor pool. There are restaurants within walking distance. Although the unit is part of a large complex it does not feel that way.

And what great guests these were! They left the space as clean as they found it and wrote little thank you notes. I would recommend these guests to anyone wishing to rent to them!
