Disclosures
The majority of the properties in the Winter Park area do not have A/C due to the cooler climate. The resort base closes during the off seasons in the spring and fall but the downtown area remains open year round. A complete list of our discounts and optional services can be viewed on our website. Our designated pet friendly properties have a pet fee of $49 nightly with a 2 dog max. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds and must be crated if left alone. Additional fees will apply for non-compliance. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am Daily. Condo itself was great with a very spacious living/tv area, kitchen and dinning area. We had a small maintenance problem that was quickly fixed. The kitchen was well-appointed. The attached garage and driveway parking space worked well for us. The only negative is that this is not really a ski-in/ski-out property. Even though it is technically close to a trail to the Gondola, getting to and retruning from the trail was difficult to say the least.

456 Iron Horse Way

I would actually give a rating of 3.5. The unit is very nice and fit our group perfectly. We loved the layout and the hot tub on the back porch. One of the tub/showers did not have a shower curtain or even a rod. One of the bedrooms had window blinds that were stuck all the way at the top. Maintenance came the 2nd day and fixed those problems. The master bedroom had a fireplace but it didn't work. One of the shower heads needs replaced. It only had water coming out around the outer edge of the shower head. They also wanted us to pull our rental vehicle in the garage so we could park our second vehicle in the driveway but the snow was piled so high on the side of the driveway that we couldn't pull into the garage. I would also suggest adding more ski hangers in the garage. They have them but they are full of the owners equipment. You better be in pretty good shape to use the “ski in/out”. You have to walk up the hill and on a path thru the woods and then up 58 steps. Fine for our group but not easy!
