Welcome to the intimate yet expansive Forget-me-not Cottage, a peaceful and idyllic country retreat that offers a respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This charming Victorian Queenslander, dating back to c1890, invites you to experience one of Australia's most beautiful architectural gems only 6minutes drive from Maleny Township.



The Space:

Step into a world where sophisticated cottage chic meets pure serendipity as you traverse the winding gravel driveway into this immersive lifestyle estate. Luxury countryside charm for wedding stays, photoshoots, poolside long lunches and cosy winter weekenders with friends and family.



There is ducted air conditioning to the upstairs level, (no fly screens). Split system Air Conditioning in the lower level bedrooms for cool summers & nice cozy winters! Fly screens being fitted soon - we will update once completed!



5 Beautiful bedrooms with luxe linen, luxury "Sleeping Duck Mattresses" and high end quality bathroom liquids for guest use.



Forget Me Not Cottage can accommodate 10 guests comfortably in the 5 bedrooms in Queen beds, 12 if using the 2 single bunk beds, and at a stretch, we can open up the "SNUG" sofa bed (lounge room off meals area) for an additional 2 guests - PAX being 14. See floorplan at the end of photo grid.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Guests will have access to the entire property. The standard rate applies for up to 12 guests. For any additional guests beyond 12, an extra charge of $90 per person per night will apply for the 13th and 14th guests. If the "SNUG" needs to be set up, there will be an additional one-time fee of $100, regardless of the number of guests.



Max guests on property after 8pm (without prior approval) = 14 (Max Capacity)



Bond: There will be a Bond of $1000 held to cover and damages and additional cleaning for your stay through any channel that is not AirBnB.



Guest Access:

Check in at the property is between 3pm and 5pm on check in day. Please let us know when you will be at the property so we can meet you in person.



Guests will have access to the complete dwelling and grounds as described by the host.

Peaceful Retreat: Our property is a high-end, country luxe accommodation designed for guests seeking a tranquil and sophisticated experience. Enquire within for Intimate Weddings of up to 14 (Max Capacity as per house is 14, due to parking limitations and respect to neighbouring properties). *Please note - you will be required to arrange and obtain your own Council Permits accordingly*



IMPORTANT NOTE: Guests will have access to the entire property, with rates only changing when the guest amount is over 12pax - $75 per guest over and above for the 13th & 14 guest will apply per person per night to use and linen for the "SNUG" to be set up.



Pets: Upon request, we are happy to discuss bringing along your beloved canine friend/s. House trained (toileting) up to 20Kg and non-shedding fur babies will be required to be approved upon enquiry/request. There will be a fee per pet of $50 per stay.



*** The boho themed, outdoor table setting is exposed to the elements and is not waterproof (water comes through the above decking/verandah). The condition of the table is rustic, and weather worn to the elements. Therefore use of the table, is at your own risk.***



Respectful Environment: To maintain the serene ambiance, and respect for our neighbouring properties, we kindly request that guests refrain from raucous late nights, pool parties, or playing loud music outside. We have a strict no-party policy. Wedding events are required to be kept intimate for these reasons and rules.



Visitor Policy: Visitors are welcome, but only paying guests are able to reside overnight. There is a security camera on the garage of the property looking down the driveway to help monitor visitors and guests in this nature.



Liability: Guests are responsible for adhering to these rules and regulations. Any damages caused to the property or facilities due to non-compliance will result in additional charges or your security bond being used to cover.



Acknowledgment: By booking this luxury accommodation, guests acknowledge and agree to abide by these rules, respecting the property and the peaceful environment it offers.



Forget Me Not Cottage can accommodate 14 guests. 12 Guests can be comfortable in the 5 allocated bedrooms (inc two single bunk beds), with the SNUG being available with a fold out Queen Koala Sofa Bed upon request.



*Please kindly note: We charge a nominal cleaning fee that does not cover our costs. We request light duties to be undertaken on checkout (you will receive a message at 7am on check out date) with instructions for dishes, rubbish removal, stripping of linen etc.
