Nuestro hermoso paraíso tropical de un acre se encuentra al sur de Hilo y cerca de los pueblos de Kea'au y Pahoa.
El estudio de la planta superior es único y artístico, con una decoración polinesia, con vistas a los cocoteros, a los árboles frutales ... al plátano, al mango, al aguacate, a la piña y a las flores tropicales.
Un pedazo de paraíso para llamar a casa mientras se encuentra en la isla grande. Ir a dormir con el canto de las ranas y estrellas tan brillantes que casi podía tocar. Despiértese con el canto de los pájaros y el café hawaiano de cortesía. Darse un capricho, ducha en nuestra agua de lluvia recogida.

Bed not comfortable There was chirping all night, some type of sound effect thing they have.Neighbor was loud. We could hear her talking through the walls. Someone above us walking in the middle of the night. It was so loud. It smelled weird like dog or something. Service was terrible even with the WiFi. Over all it is an okay place to stay. I think it’s okay for the price, but I think the bed and the noises could have been avoided. The host was nice and was going to let us do an early check in which was nice of her. We ended up keeping ourselves busy until it was time to check in.

Decent stay for one person, 1-2 nights . A bit dated, but clean. Very quiet neighborhood but very dark at night.

What a beautiful sanctuary. What staying a night in Hawaii should feel like. Meditating sounds of frogs through the night and Geckos sunbathing in the morning sun. We’ll be back! Hosts were friendly and welcoming and I give this place a 10!

We had everything we needed. Could use a hangin closet. Loved that there was coffee! Thank you. Beautiful grounds. Host are very helpful and have thought of every amenity! We would stay again!

Tucked away in a great neighborhood, close enough to Hilo for ease of travel while far enough to feel secluded. Watching the sunrise every morning with the birds singing was a treat. The lack of AC would be unbearable during the day, but who stays in their room during the day on vacation anyway? Perfectly comfortable to sleep at night with windows open and fan on..

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einer ruhigen tropischen Lage. Wir hatten ein Apartment im oberen Stock und dazugehörig eine Terrasse. Insgesamt besitzt das Haus 4 Apartments. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet.

Great place, exactly as advertised.. they had clear check in instructions, and the internet was surprisingly fast. The homeowners were also kind enough to give me some Lilikoi grown in their garden. no complaints.

It was a fantastic location. The only thing I would say is that there should be a designated smoking area away from building. With windows open it is hard to not breathe it when right below your window. The homey touches were wonderful.

A Wonderful Spiritual Retreat

It was an absolute joy staying here. The property was like a zen garden. The neighborhood was very peaceful and it was super easy to find the place. ( I found it in the dead of night during a rain shower) Most everything you need is provided, slow cooker, silverware of all varieties, cups and mugs, small fridge, soap and shampoo, cutting board and butcher knife and other convinces. The bed was super comfortable if you like soft which I do. The outside porch was a great place to eat and do yoga but you have a table and enough room inside the cozy studio to do the same. I had lots of company for my meals as well although they kept tryimg to sell me GEICO insurance (just kidding)The staff was friendly and has lots of insight into the area with many connections to help make the most of your stay. What else can I say this place was lovely and I am most certainly going to stay here again. Please definitely consider staying here if not in this unit then one of there other many units on the property.

Kepi is an Amazing artist I swore I took more photos of her art, so amazing!
Can I interest you in a great deal with GEICO, we can see you a ton on your car insurance!

There's no AC, so make sure you don't mind the heat. Instructions were clear and check-in was easy. It's not exactly an "apartment" per se but more like a small room with an en suite bathroom. There was a cockroach in the bed the first night but it was dead already, and Hawaii is known for having bugs. Hosts were friendly, but not super responsive.

A nice cost effective studio

A simple, clean studio with many of the amenities available during our one week stay. Hilo was only 20 min. away, so the location was not a challenge. With only a need of a place to sleep and shower, this unit was perfectly adequate for us in comfort, value and cost. We didn’t know our studio was in a complex with multiple connecting units in a 3-story building. Typical of Hawaiʻi homes, the walls are not double sided so you’ll hear the sounds through the walls and floors (or ceiling). We missed the notation in the listing that the studio was upstairs on the 2d level, so being disabled, I had to be very careful climbing the stairs. There was also mention of “laundry, washing machine 6 a load.” There was none onsite. There was mention of a deadbolt. There was none. We were fortunate to meet Kepi and Jim when we arrived. Checkin and checkout were easy. We would return again to this site should we visit Hawaiʻi Island again.

Great stay!

The hosts made an effort to make this place special and it shows. Cute garden area with light lights, quaint decor, etc. We were greeted with the sound of the frogs singing in the adorable garden! Definitely would recommend!!!

The owners Jim & Kepi are super nice & very helpful. The property is very safe. Parking is easy & very safe. The studio is on the 2nd floor of a noisy 3 story apt building. The noise from the neighbors is extremely annoying. You can hear every cough, every word, every fart, every step, the ceiling is squeaky & creaky when walked on from above. One downstairs neighbor talked outside for three straight nights while cracking beers, so annoying; another coughed constantly. The noise at night from the frogs is overwhelming.. which wouldn’t be so bad but the unit has no a/c so the windows HAVE to be left open all night. If you can suck it up & wear earplugs or headphones.. the price vs value is reasonable. If noise bothers you as it does my sensitive ears, this is definitely not a good choice. Again, the owners are GREAT, they live onsite & aren’t intrusive at all. The nearby market on Sunday’s was a nice bonus!
