Wonderful Week in the Ozarks

Beautiful views, clean house, comfortable stay, had everything we needed at the house, close location to downtown, easy access to several marinas and Lake Taneycomo, shared boat docks were awesome. Kids loved the soft blankets and bumper pool. Very responsive and helpful staff when we had questions or needed recommendations. We can't wait to come back!

This is the second time we stayed at this same property and it is wonderful. Has plenty of space for large groups and right by the water. The communication and helpfulness of the property management was top notch. Highly recommend this place.

The house was very nice & had everything we needed. Our family group of 14 was very comfortable. Beds were excellent. We had grandkids & great grandkids with us & they all had something to do. We also had 2 pets with us & the outside space to walk them was great. Location was nice just a few minutes from the strip. We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful property

Every year our family comes down to Branson to enjoy the Christmas lights. This was a great property to stay at. Lots of room and great large rooms for visiting with family and friends.

Perfect Location

Grin Inn Bear It was the perfect place for our family to vacation on Table Rock Lake. The accommodations were super clean and provided plenty of room for a family of ten. The folks who manage the property were very attentive to even the smallest of needs.

Grin N Bear It

Such a wonderful setting in a beautiful cove with a lovely waterfront view. Very spacious and everything you could ever want for a family gathering. The game tables were awesome. Love the decor as well. Looking forward to many more family visits and bringing the boat next time!

Amazing Stay!

My family of 13 people met here for a family holiday get together coming from Texas, Arkansas, and Colorado. We had a BLAST! The space was perfect with rooms set up nicely for each of our parties. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We went out some but stayed in a lot and played games and put together a puzzle. The view of the lake and outdoors was STUNNING - natural lighting was incredible with the large windows - and two gathering areas was perfect for when people wanted to do different things. We loved the large dining table where we could all fit for meals. We can't say enough about our stay and if we visit Branson again as a family, will definitely be back to Grin Inn Bear It!

Branson Family Fall Break

Great location! Cabin is a great layout for our family - with kids, grands, and everyone in one place. Having multiple levels with multiple living rooms, bathrooms, and access to outdoor spaces is great for having everyone together while still having places for different groups to do their own thing. Our littles could play and watch TV downstairs while the adults visited and played games upstairs. House is conveniently located as well - quick access to Silver Dollar City as well as shopping and the strip.

Our 50th anniversary family gathering!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for our extended family's reunion. We were 16 guests of which 5 were our grandkids. We loved the access to the community pool and the fire pit for "s'mores". The pool and trampoline on the lake were a great hit. Dan, the on-site manager, was very helpful and cordial. We loved visiting with him when he had spare time attending duties.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here with a group of three families (kids aged 3-14) in July 2023. We'd definitely recommend it and would stay here again. Pros:Clean and stocked with the basics you'd expect from a rental house.Large communal spaces, great for hanging out.Location of house within the resort had super easy access to both the pool and the dock.Any needs/issues were addressed by the concierge immediately.Cons:No rugs underneath living room furniture - it was slipping and sliding around all week long.When sleeping in the basement bedroom, any time the first floor toilet was flushed it sounded like someone was pouring marbles down the drain.

Good and Bad

We really liked the house and the location and the view. However the HVAC vents had mold very bad as well as one of the showers. There was a glass window that was shattered from the outside that we were questioned about. So obviously maintenance and house cleaning had failed to see or report anything. They did get us moved to another house close by the next day but we had to stay in the 1st house w/o running and heat or air or ceiling fans so we wouldn't stir any mold up. It would have been nice to have been compensated for the first night...

Host was very kind but we felt our needs were not truly met- kind but not actually interested in our experience. We came during cold weather. We did not have corn hole, volleyball, the pool or lake. What we did have were games, movies, fireplace and family time. However, none of the tvs would work for us. And we are young enough to know how to work digital situations. ;-) We tried multiple things. When we addressed this with the host, we kept getting met with auto replies of fixes and no attempt to help OUR experience but that it would be looked at for future renters. The space was beautiful and decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed the big table that fit our family and the basement for the children to enjoy. The fireplaces don’t really do much for warmth and there aren’t any throw blankets to cozy up with but there is a firepit outside by the playground that we really enjoyed using. Overall, we thought this place was really lovely and we enjoyed our time but attention to some small things could’ve made it top notch.

Good/ some amenities broken or not useful

Giving 4 stars. Unfortunately, the amenities that motivated us to choose Branson Shores over other resorts were disappointing: * The advertised water trampoline was not present at all. * The aqua floating mat was broken. * The pickleball court is not a regulation court. It is a micro-mini size that is not playable for adults. We love pickleball and were very disappointed to find an unusable court, which should be clearly advertised as such. The accommodations themselves were fantastic. The home was beautiful, very clean, and truly exceptionally well-stocked—the kitchen, in particular, was one of the best I've seen at a resort. Everything outside of the specific amenities was exactly as advertised. While everything else was great, these specific amenities are what we based our booking on, and it was very disappointing to find them either missing, broken, or unusable.

Branson Family Spring Break

The property was as described in the listing - very spacious, clean, and well-kept. We had a group of 12 ranging in age from 3 to 50+ and there was more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable. The bunk room was perfect for our little boys ages 3 to 6 with a bathroom right across the hall. The teens stayed downstairs as well in the other bedrooms and loved having their own sitting area with TV, refrigerator and microwave. On the main floor, the dining area was great with plenty of room for meals and evening game nights. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the cooking utensils and dishes for making meals for our large crew. We cooked breakfast and dinner every day without missing any of the conveniences of our home kitchen. The upstairs master suite was a great getaway in the evenings with our own sitting area. The master bath was perfect! The location was great, only about 10 minutes from Silver Dollar City and the strip. We were surprised at how quickly we could get to everything we had planned to do. The lake was beautiful - we enjoyed walking down by the water with our group of kiddos and looking for treasures. Highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a place for their family to stay together!
