Stay was great, ocean was beautiful as always. One toilet in the condo was unusable. It wouldn’t flush, even empty with no toilet paper it had to be plunged down. That was a disappointment but we made due sharing the other bathroom. Also would have been nice to have coffee filters, but we picked some up down the street for cheap. Overall, good stay!

Nice getaway

We enjoyed the condo very much but it was loud at night. Not sure it was construction work or other guest upstairs. The property was very pretty and we used the pool twice. I have medical issues but walked to the beach so it’s very close to get to. We enjoyed listening to the frogs at night & giving the ducks bread. We would go back for sure.

Not what was advertized

The location of the condo is my complaint. Ir was advertized as beachfront and it was far from it. The view from the condo, were more condos. I was extremely disappointed. However, the inside of the condo was decent. The washer did leak.

nice property, nice stay, wasn't in the room much but Saturday tried to watch some college football, TV system in living room was terrible, no guide on the TV, the paper guide was difficult and hard to find channels, the TV in the back bedroom did not work at all... a very minor inconvenience but ended up having to watch the games sitting in the bed as that system had a guide and i could find the games easily.... other than that the place was great!

Very old, worn-out apartment with LOTS of issues!

A HUGE disappointment! We stayed at this place with my family: my husband and 3 kids. This place needs a MAJOR makeover. It was our impression that it hasn't been renovated since 1980s, if not 70s. Everything from the apartment itself to furniture was so worn out and outdated! The windows and the door to the balcony are so old, that they do not open and/or broken to the point that they come off the railing when you try to open them. There were only a few closets that weren't even functional/usable (dusty and filled with owner's stuff). The "leaves" of the drop-leaf table in the kitchen were wobbly and things kept sliding off the table. There were only 2 chairs to use! There was no kettle or coffee maker. The bathroom drain plug wouldn't stay open. It's a shame that they charge this much for such an old place!

The condo was clean and met all our expectations. Checkout time was at 9am, which is way too early! Nobody wants to wake up early on vacation, especially to pack, clean and leave. We could also hear every step the people upstairs took

Great place!

Close walk to the beach. Very clean! Since COVID, whenever we stay somewhere, we wipe down all surfaces, knobs, light switches, etc when we arrive. Wipes were still white! Beach access was convenient and just a minute walk away.

Beach Wedding Bliss

I was in town with my daughter and Fiance' for the Wedding of two friends. We booked this property sight unseen and it turned out to be a wonderful place to call "Home" for three days! Great location and beach access! I had a couple of questions upon arrival and phoned the Customer Service number provided. I received fast, friendly service, a great start to a great trip!

problem with AC

We arrived a bit late, 8PM, due to traffic. Upon arrival the AC was not working and it was 89Degrees in the house. We contacted guest services and did not get an AC vendor onsite for 2 hours. It was 11PM and the temp in the house was still 86. I would appreciate some consideration for a discount on the first night. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness and a well stocked condo with plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. The AC worked well and the beds were comfortable. It is an older unit but updated tastefully. It is a short walk to a beautiful beach. The rental agency communicated often to make sure we had what we needed and if there were any problems. The biggest draw back was the upstairs neighbors which often sounded like a heard of elephants and you could hear noise well into the night. There is not much the owner can do about that.

Great vacation spot

This property was just as listed. Comfortable beds and living space. Short walk to beach. Close to trolley stop. Perfect beach, easy access. Nice pool. Love gulf villas, nice area, keyless is great. Very easy checking in and out .

Upon arrival, there was a piece of chicken in the sink. A wad of undefinable disgusting (crap?) on a bathroom door jamb, both bedroom's ceiling fans obviously had not been cleaned in a long while. The toilet tissue is thin, tears easily and you can image the result. The unit was above an open air garage (common on the Florida coast) and it leaked water on my car below. Yes, I sent a photograph to the renting agency, and they sent an inspector, but did not fix it. However, it was not all bad: There were plenty of bath towels and the beds were comfortable. The unit was well appointed, like home. The most distressing 'news' is that a unit advertised as reasonable number of dollars per night actually cost almost twice the dollars per night after adding all the 'fees' by 'everybody, including substantial "Cleaning" fee, extra taxes and two (2) 'Service' fees, one a late add-on for VRBO amounting to 10% of the already paid total. As a result, I will never again use VRBO.

To put it nicely, very frustrating!!!

We checked into our unit on time. As we are bringing our belongings in I noticed a can of roach spray on the counter. A phone call a few minutes later confirmed our fears. The management company offered to put us in a Beach home at no extra charge. Between the time we were told this and the time it took us to get to the management company we were told that this had been booked at the last minute. They put us in a nice beach condo for 2 nights, but our stay was for 3 nights. They offered us another condo unit for the 3rd night 20 miles away. As we were checking out to move again I was told there was another unit available right in the same area. We accepted, but you guessed it, they didn’t hold it for us and it miraculously got booked at the last minute. We were able to get a place for the last night however we had to wait until the previous couple checked out and the room was cleaned. By the way the name of the management company was Southern Vacation Rentals, very poor management. To have 2 units booked at the last minute when they told me we could have them is ridiculous!
