Modern Terryville Cottage w/ Deck & Lake View!

We're so glad the lake view from the deck stood out during your stay. It really is one of our favorite features of this home, and we love that guests get to enjoy it right from the deck. From the owner:-This is my only vacation rental, and I am continuously learning how to improve based on each stay. It is disheartening that a guest would have a problem but not give me a chance to correct it. I received no communication from you during your stay.-The thermostat settings are clearly stated in the Welcome Book: "The heat is set at 70 degrees when it’s cold outside and 75 degrees for A/C when it’s warm outside. Feel free to contact me if you prefer any changes." My cell phone number and email are also included in this book.-The thermostat can be controlled remotely, and yes, it is behind a lockbox due to past issues where the thermostat was misused, leading to significant heating costs.-I am disappointed you did not give me a chance to fix your issue, as it would have been resolved immediately at any hour.I hope to welcome you back and provide you with a 5 star experience I am known for!

Regarding the air-conditioning concern you mentioned during your stay: I responded within minutes, visited the property in person, and detected no odor. As a further precaution, I later had a licensed HVAC technician inspect and service the system (including cleaning the evaporator coil). The technician confirmed the unit was already in good condition and that no corrective work was required. No other guests before or after your stay have reported any similar issue. We continue to maintain the property to a high standard of cleanliness and comfort, and we appreciate the opportunity to address any concerns promptly when they arise."
