Perfect Beach Vacation Setting

When have visited Hilton head for 6 previous family vacations and this was the first time we have stayed at The Stilts. What we liked most was the layout and comfort of the home, walking distance to the beach and central location on the island. Home was very clean and comfortable for our family of 5--included all of the items we needed. Beach was perfect and never crowded and even though it was hot was always a breeze at the home---hope to come back again in our futures. The Kulicks July 2019

Awesome Week in HHI

This "one street from the beach" home was perfect for our family of 5. Location was awesome. Did I mention 1 street from the beach. If you head left out of the neighborhood it's less crowded if you need something quick. Head right and you're headed into the heart of the action on this small island. Everything is close. Traffic wasn't bad, even at dinner time.

Our annual Ladies of the 80's beach trip!

Justin was incredibly responsive from start to finish... Stilts is absolutely adorable....the space is so open with tons of natural light. The kitchen island is where we lived other than the deck. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed and the decor is perfect!!!! Literally, a (03) minute walk to the beach and he had wagons, beach chairs which made it so easy. We LOVED every minute of our stay!!! Thank You, Justin!!!

Wonderful home close to the beach

Beautiful, immaculate home close to the beach. The home was just as pictured with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable furniture. Plenty of space and fun for our family of 6. The outdoor shower and beach wagon made were great for beach days. Lots of great recommendations from Justin & Kristin made our first trip to Hilton Head a memorable one.

Columbus Day Weekend girls trip

This beach house was wonderful! We rented it for a mom's weekend away ;). It took us less than five minutes to walk to Burke's beach, the path is only two houses away. The beach was beautiful! We rented bikes to get around, which worked perfectly for us. The house is biking distance from restaurants and shops (only a mile down the road). The house itself is adorable, updated, comfortable and has a great outdoor deck. The owners were extremely responsive and kind. We would absolutley stay there again in the future!

Stilts!

Great place for a small family for a week vacation on HHI. We love the house and location, just a short walk to Burkes Beach and the inlet, my favorite place on the entire island. This property has everything you need and everything works! Great internet and W/D, something that's lacking in a lot of houses. We hope to come back every year.

Stilts!

Wonderful vacation property just a few minutes walk to Burkes Beach. Wood floors throughout, great baths and showers, very comfy mattresses. Wifi worked perfectly all week on at least 8 devices. Spent all of our time away from the beach underneath the house at the 'bar'. Not for a large crowd, but perfect for 2 couples and maybe a teenager or two. Property is very well maintained and easy communication with the owner. We will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay! It was a short walk to the beach which was just what we were looking for. The house was just as pictured. The beach was great there were people out the but it wasn’t so crowded that you felt like you were sitting on top of each other.

Lovely Beach Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely beach cottage! It was comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking on the nights we decided to eat in.(We also enjoyed using the gas grill!) Shower in master bath is heavenly! Interior is clean and decorated in nice cheerful colors. Beds were quite cozy, everyone slept well! It was nice being so close to the park for tennis. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Clean and a short walk to the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay at Stilts! The listing is true to the home and the location to the beach was nice. The house had everything we needed to feel at home. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer and the spa tub and showers were delightful. Highly recommended.

Loved The “Stilts” Clean, pictures true to home, close to beach, roomy for fam of 6!

Justin checked in on us upon arrival and departure via text. The pictures of home were true, super clean, roomy for us and adult children, kitchen was great for group cooking. We were so happy to have a washer and dryer to use. This is our second stay at HHI. The first stay was a resort, needless to say, we will book again with VRBO in future because we loved the home feel and close vacinity to beach. Thank you, Justin and Kristen

Wonderful!

This is one of the best VRBO homes we have stayed. The home is set up perfectly, the showers are amazing, and the beds are so comfy. I wouldn't change a thing. The location is perfect and Burkes Beach is so lovely and not crowded. If we go back to Hilton Head, I would love to stay here again. Justin is also very responsive which is so nice. Thanks for a great stay!

Very pleasant and charming beach house!

Our family enjoyed this home close to the beach and easily accessible to other areas of HHI. The house was clean and very up-to-date. We relaxed on the front porch in the evenings, since it was shady at that time -- very nice!

Perfect!

The house is beautiful, very clean and styled perfectly. It is also thoughtfully set up for vacationers. The deck was a quiet oasis where you could sit and listen to the waves or watch the pelicans fly by (or read). The beach is at the end of the street. It is more quiet than other beaches further down the island. The house is also conveniently located to shops and interesting restaurants. There are no flaws...except.that my week went by too quickly.

Perfect Location and beautiful beach home

This beautiful vacation home was perfectly situated near the beach and other attractions on the island. It was a short walk down the street to get to Burkes Beach. Justin was quick to respond to questions that we had. We found the house to be clean and true to the photos. We had a wonderful experience and vacation! I loved that Justin included personal/his family's preferences of where to dine and suggestions of what do do on the island with the check-in information. I would highly recommend this property to friends and plan to book this rental again (the next time we visit Hilton Head).

Stilts is AMAZING!

OMG!! What an amazing vacation! We had such a great time on Hilton Head Island staying at "Stilts" so close to Burkes Beach. It was everything we wanted and needed for our family of 6. Renting bikes was perfect. Being in walking distance of the beach was exactly what we wanted ... and the outdoor shower was perfect. Making meals in the house and gathering around the center kitchen island for meals / game / cards made so many memories! Thank you so much for opening up your home to us. Can't wait to come back again! Chris and Brian Kreps

Wow !

Our host - Justin and Kristin - thought of everything. It was even better than we thought it was going to be. The spacious open floor plan was perfect for our party of two couples and I'm sure would accommodate six comfortably. The cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the house was very evident and greatly appreciated. The front deck and the gathering area under the house with the nice breezes were additional spaces we enjoyed. The proximity to the beach was great and only a few minutes walk. I was actually expecting more noise and commotion due to the public beach access and public park but not bad at all even on Memorial Day week-end. The park was also a nice place to take walks, tennis and basketball. As far as we were concerned perfect location and accommodations. Justin was very responsive and rental process was very easy. I really probably shouldn't be giving such a glowing review because it will probably just make it harder next time for us to find available rental dates but Burkes Beach House deserves an applaud. We will be back.
