Esta casa unifamiliar de 13 años, de estilo A, de estilo contemporáneo, se encuentra en la costa oeste del lago Bantam. ¡Totalmente equipado! Fácil primer piso vivían con dormitorio principal, walkin closet y baño principal con cabina de ducha de gran tamaño gigante y bañera de remojo. También en el primer piso: sala de polvo (medio baño), cocina y lavadero grande (tamaño hándicap puertas). El segundo piso tiene 2 dormitorios adicionales (uno con la reina y el otro con 3 individuales más un nido) más un baño completo junto con un acogedor espacio tipo loft que se puede usar como habitación para niños, estudio o área de dormir adicional en un futón nuevo. Las vistas del Lago Bantam son panorámicas y de la salida del sol siempre magnífica. Una cubierta ventilada justo al lado de la sala de estar ofrece cenas al aire libre adicionales, así como un excelente lugar para relajarse y escuchar la vuelta al agua de la playa de arena justo debajo. We had a wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend. Kathy (owner) was so nice and attentive to anything we needed while we were there. The house is perfect for anyone traveling through or wanting to spend time in the area. Lake Bantam is also a wonderful lake.

Fantastic Stay

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this delightful home. Even though the weather wasn't great, the house was so comfortable, well-stocked, and peaceful that we enjoyed every minute. Beautiful, quiet area with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and exceptional ice cream! Our host could not have been more generous and responsive, highly recommend!

Lovely home in a beautiful setting

This house is new, bright and sunny and is even nicer than the pictures. The deck is large and a great spot to hang out and look at the lake. The first day we saw a bald eagle that must be a local resident! My husband loved fishing from shore and even caught a few yellow perch. The set up of the house is great and it was the best stocked VRBO rental we have ever had. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a great long, early spring weekend playing games, playing in the sand, and enjoying family time. We saw a beautiful sunrise over the lake and enjoyed some delicious ice cream and cheese from a local dairy.

Birthday/Ski Celebration!

Awesome home and wonderful memories made! Went up to celebrate my daughter's 10th birthday. We were 20 min away from Mohawk Mountain, so as a treat, she got to ski and try out snowboarding! My daughter and her cousins decided to create a fort in the loft area and used most of the linens in the storage binds... Kathy was very understanding. Overall, great experience! Would love to visit again!

Perfect weekend getaway

I booked the lake house for a weekend away to celebrate my sisters upcoming wedding. It was so easy to get to the property and accessing the house was a breeze. The house was better than described and better than it was in the photos. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook meals including a full spice drawer and a cabinet of other essentials like olive oil. I found this particularly helpful since I prepared a dinner and wine tasting for the first night of our stay. While we didn’t use them, there were stand up paddle boards and kayaks available for a reasonable fee. The tv is equipped with streaming options, again super convenient. I couldn’t figure out how to then on the tv in the loft area where I slept that weekend. There are a good amount of beds to accommodate our party. Drown center in Morris is adorable and there is a winery about 11 min away which was great also. The owners are very accommodating and were so easy to work with. We are likely to book again.

Lovely Autumn getaway

The house was nice and spacious with everything we needed. The best part was the private beach. We sat outside for hours and even enjoyed a fire pit. Great location, we enjoyed visiting local vineyards and restaurants. Kathy was very nice and easy to deal with. We would go back!

The best Family lake vacation ever!

The house and lake are beautiful. The dock in the photo is not part of the rental property, but if you have a boat the mooring is available. The beach is shallow and great for small children.

Beautiful Home

My family and our friends met at this home for our summer vacation. The home is exactly as described by the owner. It was very clean, the property was perfect for playing cornhole, catch and just relaxing. The views from the living room and back deck are incredible. We were very impressed with how well stocked the house was. We rented the paddleboats and kayaks and it was so worth it. The home is close to a no wake so we were comfortable letting the teens go out and explore. The firepit and smores at night were a perfect ending to each day. The only disappointment we had was with the communication from the owner. When we arrived Kathy greeted us and showed us the house and property. Unfortunately for us the hurricane hit and we lost power. This of course was at no fault of the owner. We did feel that there was a lack of hospitality from the owner from this point forward. We didn't receive any messages asking how we are, if we needed a cooler, ability to charge a phone, an extension cord from the generator they were running two houses away where they live to save the hundreds of dollars of food we had in the fridge. We had no power from Tuesday afternoon until we left on Saturday. A little concern or hospitality would have gone a long way. We made the best of the situation considering we had no, AC, electric, hot water etc.

Quiet Lakeside Haven

We could not have been happier with this property and everything that it offers. The house was clean and has everything you need for your stay. It is on a quiet, semi-private road so our kids had a safe place to run around when they weren’t swimming. We also rented bicycles and paddle boards which our kids loved. The market is nearby so we picked up food and ate in for most meals. The owner left a binder with suggestions for local activities, restaurants and events. We can’t wait to go back.

Perfect place to celebrate!

We celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary here-it was the perfect set up for everyone! The house was more than we hoped for, the deck was the perfect place for my parents to be in the shade but part of the action and the beach made spending the day in the lake with kayaks and paddle boards easy for everyone! It was perfect!

Girls Weekend Getaway

A great house in a beautiful pastoral location

I could not have dreamed for a better holiday house. We were 6 adults and one 15 month old baby. There was certainly enough room for all of us. The central areas were spectacular- large windows overlooking the lake. The house was the best equipped place I have ever been to. Kathy was an excellent host. She gave us info on the area and of course there are many beautiful walking trails to hike on. This was a 10+ experience and I highly recommend it to others. If goven the opportunity I would definitely choose Kathy's place again for holiday.

We built this house for my Mom in 2004. Since her passing, we have decided to rent the property to vacationers. It has all the warmth, coziness and amenities of home. We live just two doors over so we are available if you need help but our houses are separated enough to provide total privacy.

There is no other location like this on Bantam Lake. We are a quiet 6 house community on a private, safe road that dead ends at the lake front. Its a flat lot with no steep embankments and a private lovely sandy beach where children can easily be monitored from the deck above. The driveway is adjacent to a grassy lot that we also own - and you are welcome to enjoy that space too. Great area for frisbee or volleyball we have a net).
