A well-loved 70sqm two-bedroom apartment in the sought-after Lighter Quay Stratis — both bedrooms with their own private ensuite, a private balcony with Viaduct Harbour views, and full access to the building`s heated pool, spa, sauna, and gym. Secure car park included. Guests consistently love the location, the views, the pool, and the parking. North Wharf dining, the Viaduct, and Commercial Bay all minutes on foot. This apartment has built one of the most consistent guest records of any property in our Wynyard Quarter portfolio, and the reasons are straightforward: two bedrooms each with their own private ensuite, a private balcony with genuine Viaduct Harbour views, a secure car park, and pool and gym access in one of Auckland`s most desirable waterfront locations. Guests consistently mention the view, the location, the cleanliness, the parking, the pool, and the sleep quality — a comprehensive endorsement that speaks for itself.

The master bedroom is comfortably furnished with a queen bed and quality linen, with its own private ensuite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and premium toiletries. The second bedroom has two single beds, also with quality linen and its own private ensuite — a configuration that works beautifully for families, two couples who appreciate genuine privacy, or guests travelling with older children. The two-ensuite layout is one of the most practical features of this apartment, and guests consistently appreciate it.

The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area is modern and spacious for a 70sqm footprint, with Smart TV, air conditioning, and comfortable lounge furniture. Large windows and the private balcony bring the Viaduct Harbour views into the room in a way that makes the space feel considerably more generous than its footprint. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering — stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and all the cooking essentials needed to prepare a proper meal. A starter pack of kitchen and bathroom essentials is provided on arrival.

The building`s shared facilities are a genuine highlight — a heated indoor pool, spa, sauna, and fully equipped gym, all reserved exclusively for residents and their guests. The secure car park is included, which at a Viaduct Harbour address is both practically useful and meaningfully rare.

The entire apartment is yours — both bedrooms with private ensuites, the fully equipped kitchen, open-plan living and dining area, private balcony with Viaduct Harbour views, and one secure car park. Full access to the building`s heated indoor pool, spa, sauna, and gym is included throughout your stay.

Key collection for this apartment is from Wynyard Mart — a 24-hour convenience store on Halsey Street, right in the heart of Wynyard Quarter and just a couple of minutes walk from the complex. Simply present your booking confirmation details to the attendant and they will hand you the key. The apartment is then a short walk away.

Wynyard Mart is open 24 hours, which means early arrivals and late-night check-ins are equally straightforward — no need to coordinate around office hours. If you are arriving by taxi or rideshare, it is worth asking your driver to wait while you collect the key, as it is a very quick stop and the walk to the apartment with luggage is easier with a drop-off close to the door.

A private airport transfer can be arranged at additional cost with at least 48 hours notice.

While we will leave you in peace to enjoy your time in Auckland, we are available 24 hours a day for an emergency.

Lighter Quay Stratis sits at the edge of Wynyard Quarter — one of the most successful urban waterfront regenerations in the Southern Hemisphere. The North Wharf dining precinct is right on your doorstep: Baduzzi for handmade pasta and Italian small plates, Hello Beasty for bold Asian-inspired sharing, Giraffe for waterfront dining, and a wonderful selection of bars and wine rooms. Silo Park, with its outdoor cinema, weekend markets, and public art, is a short stroll, as is the Auckland Fish Market.

On Saturday mornings the Wynyard Quarter Farmers Market sets up along the waterfront — freshly shucked oysters, artisan bread, and serious coffee. The Viaduct Harbour`s celebrated restaurant and bar strip is an easy walk east, connecting through to Commercial Bay and Britomart`s cobblestoned laneways. The Auckland Ferry Terminal is nearby for Waiheke Island, Devonport, and Hauraki Gulf services.

Auckland is easily explored from Lighter Quay Stratis. The Inner Link and Outer Link buses connect the central suburbs frequently. Britomart Transport Centre is an easy walk with full train network connections. The Auckland Ferry Terminal is nearby for Waiheke Island and harbour services. A secure car park is included. Auckland Airport is approximately 30 to 40 minutes by car.

A complimentary starter pack is provided on arrival — a small selection of tea, coffee, milk, and bathroom essentials to get you settled comfortably from the moment you arrive. Supermarkets and convenience stores are nearby for any additional supplies you need during your stay.

To ensure a smooth arrival, we ask all guests to complete a short online pre-check-in form and upload a valid government-issued photo ID before arriving — this takes just a couple of minutes.

This is a non-smoking, no-vaping property throughout — including balconies and all common areas. No parties or events. Quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and checkout is by 10:00 AM.
We kindly ask all guests to help us maintain the peaceful, high-standard environment of this home by following a few simple rules:

Smoking, vaping, or drug use is not permitted inside the suite or anywhere in the apartment, building, complex or balcony.

In the rare case of a noise complaint or evidence of smoking, an additional fee of up to NZD $500 may apply.

Check in available after 3pm through lock box key collection. Lock boxes are located a short distance away, full details will be sent prior to arrival. We advise collecting the keys on your way to the apartment, if coming to the city via taxi or UBER, ask the taxi to wait a second while you collect the key. The walk to the apartment from the lock box is not far, but no one wants to walk in the city with suitcases!

The property was even better than the description and pictures! The location is as good as it gets, right at the harbour in the middle of everything. Coffee in the enclosed veranda as the sun rises and yachts depart - like something out of a movie. We used the gym and pool regularly, and a grocery store a few steps away. Stunning and wonderful in every way!

Great apartment

Highly recommended. Excellent location. The apartment was well maintained and appointed to a high standard. We rented for a week while on business in Auckland. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful place, slow responses

The place had gorgeous views. We loved the location. However, response time was slow. We were from America and had no idea how to use the stove or oven.

Spectacular location

The apartment was very comfortable with fantastic views. Location was ideal, easy walking to great restaurants and Auckland shopping. The initial online booking process was okay, However, the follow up confirmation process was tedious and the request to upload detailed identity details and a selfie did not reflect the current online security protocols. Despite expressing my concerns to Quinovic via telephone, regarding possible Identity theft, the requests continued making me feel stressed. When I arrived to pick up the apartment keys I gave my ID derails in person and it was no problem.
