Summary:

Enjoy a carefree getaway at this light-filled stay, just five minutes’ drive from Cairns Esplanade’s iconic swimming lagoon, waterfront restaurants and CBD attractions. When you’re not exploring this tropical city, relax in air-conditioned comfort in your bright and airy retreat while making use of secure parking, private laundry facilities and two bathrooms, ending your day with a dip in two shared resort-style pools, shared BBQ, or relaxing with a glass of wine on your generous balcony.



The Space:

A welcoming, open-plan layout flows seamlessly into an outdoor entertaining area at this second-floor stay. The air-conditioned living area is furnished with a laidback, coastal look that offers comfort and ease, with two large sofas and a TV inviting you to relax with a movie or a book after a day of fun in the sun.



A modern kitchen has everything you need to cook at home, plus a dishwasher for easy clean-up and a four-seater table to enjoy casual meals. You can also dine alfresco on the sprawling private balcony, which is semi-enclosed and protected with shutters while offering lush, leafy views of the tropical streetscape. Comfortably furnished with a sofa, armchairs and a table setting, you can enjoy a sea breezes in this extended living area.



Two light and airy bedrooms sleep four guests, with the primary bedroom offering a queen-size bed and the second bedroom offering a double bed, while both include split system air conditioning and ceiling fans. The primary ensuite and main bathroom are both appointed with a shower, basin and complimentary toiletries.



Added conveniences include Wi-Fi, carport parking for one car and a private washing machine and dryer. You can also make use of two shared pools, BBQ, and several shared outdoor areas.



Guest Access:

During your stay, you and your group will have the entire apartment to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!



The Neighborhood:

A few minutes’ drive (or a 20-minute walk) will bring you to the Cairns Botanic Gardens, you can also reach Cairns Esplanade within a five-minute drive for a wide variety of shops, waterfront eateries and activities. Popular attractions include the Esplanade Lagoon, Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome, the marina, Cairns Night Markets, Cairns Aquarium and Cairns Art Gallery.



Getting Around:

Parking: There are two free parking spots available in the driveway. There is also free street parking.



Airport: 4 minutes by car, or 53 minutes by bus.



Public Transport: 12-minute walk to the nearest bus stop

This property was beautifully presented, stylish, modern furnishings and very well set up for holiday guests. 2 BR and 2 Bathrooms worked well for us, (3 people). Large lounge and separate outdoor area offered plenty of space. The complex is quiet, secure and very close to public transport, The Cairns Promenade and small minimart in the service station nearby. Communications with the host were easy, with quick responses. Our one concern was addressed by a visit to the property and a phonecall. Can highly recommend this property. .

Disappointing and mostly due to the owners lack of assistance

Firstly I am never one to write a review, but this property called for it. We began by arriving to the property to the smell of something dead in the apartment and wet damp mould on the ceilings, which was a problem for asthma sufferers. After letting this go, one evening of our stay three men had a key for our apartment and entered without our permission while we were sleeping at 4am. The owners response to this was that the wind blew our door open. Which is really cause for taking this issue further and we will. They placed us in several unsafe situations with ceiling mould and intruders, we will be seeking reimbursement.

When you reported that someone had entered the property, we were understandably concerned, as this is something we take very seriously. As we are the only holders of keys, we immediately offered to involve the police, who have the authority to review security footage from the front of the building. However, as you mentioned that the individuals may have been known to you, no further action was taken at your request. Regarding the smell you reported, we promptly sent a staff member to investigate with your permission. After two separate inspections, we were unable to identify any odour or mould. Throughout your stay, we offered multiple times to help you find alternative accommodation if you felt uncomfortable. Despite these offers, your group chose to stay for the full duration of your reservation. We understand how important safety and comfort are, and we always aim to resolve any concerns swiftly. We're sorry that you were not satisfied, but our ability to respond was limited. We will continue to review our processes to ensure we maintain the highest standards of care for all of our guests. Thank you again for your feedback.
