About the Property:
Enjoy a piece of Muskoka in this beautiful private 4 season waterfront cottage. We are a 15 minute boat or car ride to historic downtown Huntsville where you can enjoy many grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, festivals and great shopping.

There is boat access to lakes Fairy, Mary and Penn. We are directly across from Big Island and have no neighbours on either side of us on the dock since we are on a point.

Lake Vernon is known for boating and fishing. There is a marina close by (Ruthven Marine) with a general store, live bait, a boat launch and gas. We have a bay on either side of our cottage which makes for great kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding.

Tranquility Point is in Vernon Shores, the southeast point of Lake Vernon and is situated at the end of a quiet Cul de sac.

The main floor of the cottage is an open concept bright sunny space which is perfect for entertaining and relaxing with family and friends. It features the living room, dining room and kitchen which all boast big bright windows open to a view of the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary amenities. We are on a well so the water is safe to drink.

There is a second fridge in the lower level storage room. There is also a stand up freezer in the storage room as well.

Next to the dining room is the screened in Muskoka room which has a living space and a kitchen table to enjoy while overlooking beautiful Lake Vernon. Enjoy fast wifi with Lakelands fibre Optic Internet with 500 Mbps. HDTV with Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Netflix. There are lots of games, DVD's and books to enjoy.

There is a direct walkout just past the dining room to a back deck that is surrounded by a glass railing which has a patio table with seating for 6 and an umbrella for shade. There are steps leading to the lower level from the deck.

The main floor also has the master bedroom with a King size bed. There is also an office desk and chair in the bedroom to do remote work. The master bedroom has an ensuite featuring a claw bathtub.

The main floor has a second bedroom with a queen size bed and a main floor bathroom. Bath towels, hand towels and beach towels are provided for all the guests in the bedrooms. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided in all 3 bathrooms.

The lower level is a walkout with high ceilings and includes a large living room/great room with 2 more bedrooms which all have beautiful views of the lake.
The first bedroom has a queen size bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and a set of bunk beds with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top.

The lower level also has a bathroom and a laundry room. There is a washer and dryer and detergent for guests to use.
There is a large shelf on the lower level with lots of games for young and old.

The lower level leads to an outside walkout where we have a porch swing to enjoy the views of the lake. Next to that on the mid level is a Traegar BBQ with pellets.

There are beautifully landscaped stone steps leading to the waterfront. Halfway to the waterfront is a fire pit with Muskoka chairs which overlook the gorgeous views of the lake and the evening moon. Firewood is provided.

At the waterfront we have a very large 1000 square foot dock able to accommodate all boats. We have a spectacular view of the sunrise and there's sun on the dock all day. There are 6 Muskoka chairs on the dock, 6 lounge chairs with 4 of them under a shade canopy.

We have 2 adult kayaks, a paddle board and a canoe with many lifejackets for your use.
The waterfront also features a mini bar with a bar fridge and access to electricity to power up your phones.

Our cottage is close to downtown Huntsville, Deerhurst, shopping centres, markets, Arrowhead provincial park, Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve and many other events that Huntsville and the surrounding areas have to offer.

If you would like to enjoy a day at the beach we are very close to Hutcheson beach which you can get to by boat or car.

If you have a boat you can ride into town and dock at many of the restaurants on the water.
