Welcome to Whitetail 1 at Big White Ski Resort!

This luxurious 5-bedroom, 3-level ski chalet accommodates up to 15 guests, making it perfect for family gatherings, friend reunions, or corporate retreats.

Prime Location:

Whitetail1 boasts one of the best locations on the mountain. Walk across the street to Woodcutter Run, taking you to three lifts or enjoy a 5-minute flat stroll to Lara's Gondola for easy lift and direct village access. Enjoy Big White's amenities such as Tube Park, Ice Rink, Bunny Hill, Happy Valley Lodge, and EV chargers out the back door. Ski directly to the chalet from the green run at Happy Valley Way and unwind in the private hot tub while taking in the stunning views.

Unmatched Comfort and Entertainment:

Five Bedrooms: Spread over THREE levels, Whitetail 1 offers spacious accommodations for 15 guests—all in beds, with no sofa-beds, lofts, or alcoves.

Two Living Areas:

Relax in two separate living spaces, complete with a bar fridge and foosball table in the downstairs entertainment area.

We had a wonderful stay for a family gathering. Check in was so easy and host communicated quickly. The house is awesome. Had everything we needed. Kitchen was well supplied for cooking. BBQ and hot tub were ready to go. The location on the end unit was very convenient for visitor parking.

Great for a large group!

The layout of the house was great, and we had enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. It is a little far from the lift, especially for the younger skiers, but we still had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed BW!

Very enjoyable

Kitchen well stocked up, comfortable beds, nice big outside porch with seating benches. Great location for watching fireworks, easy access to tubing, ice skating and snow shoes trails. Parking is great with close access to Happy Valley parking lot for overflow. Every thing is labelled, easy instructions all over the chalet. Great communication with the owner.

A perfect weekend!

This place was exactly as described. My five friends and I enjoyed a fantastic hockey pool draft weekend at this property. The host was outstanding - very responsive. She went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay! This included leaving us an extra propance tank for the BBQ (which was needed!) Everyone commented about how comfortable the beds were.

A perfect ski-in ski-out home on the mountain! My group of 8 called Whitetail 1 home for 10 nights over January. Being from Australia, we booked the accommodation early in the year for a very affordable price for the number of beds, amenities and location, which is very close to the gondola. From the start, the owner Stephanie was excellent with communication. Responding instantly to all of my messages and questions about the property. The check-in process was seamless, and the host also organised us and early check-in so we were able to organise our ski hire and passes a day early so we could get on the slopes early and avoid wasting time in the morning. The home has great parking and is very easy to find as soon as you arrive in Big White opposite the gondola car park. It’s located a short walk to the Gondola and a quick ski down Happy Valley Way from the village. We loved that the home is positioned at the start of the street, which gave us great privacy in the hot tub compared to a lot of other properties in the area. The hot tub is a perfect location to watch the fireworks on the weekend. The property has all the amenities you need and more - hot tub, coffee machine, barbecue, ect. We were able to cook breakfast and dinner every day at the house. We also skied back to have lunch at the house a few times as it’s so close to the village. We absolutely loved Big White and Whitetail 1. We will definitely be back!

Great multi family stay!

We’ve been vacationing at Big White for over 25 years! This unit was great for multi families. The unit was really clean and well equipped. The host Stephanie was prompt and easy to communicate with. All the bed mattresses were comfortable and clean. We had front row viewing for Sat night fire works at Happy Valley! The gondola and skating rink was about a 5-6 min walk with adults and 7-8 min walk with younger kids. I’d recommend bringing a tow sled for the younger kids if you’re planning on walking back and forth a lot. The Happy Valley parking lot faces the unit so extra parking is convenient if needing more than 2 spaces. Overall, the unit was really nice and we all had a great time!

I am a teacher in the Fraser Valley, based out of Mission, BC. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young sons on our hobby farm, up the mountain skiing/biking or out on the ocean fishing rods in hand! We have been Big White lovers for many years and are excited to share this space with guests so they can fall in love with the mountain, just as we did, several years ago.

Our favourite things to do on the mountain when we are not knee deep in Okanagan powder, are to enjoy the outdoor skating, tube park and Saturday fireworks!

Happy Valley is centrally located, making taking advantage of all the mountain has to offer a breeze. With EV Chargers and additional parking out the back door it is ideal for large groups and multi-families! Being situated in Happy Valley gives guests of all ages, capabilities and interests (including non-skier/snowboarders) the freedom and room to spend their vacation how they want with convenience and ease.

Our family also enjoys the use of this property. We strive to make it a "Home Away From Home" for everyone. A space that is both stylish and comfortable, especially for larger groups. As we have two little boys, and often host friends with little ones as well, we are exceptionally set up for families. The Saturday night firework show, literally out our back door, cannot be missed! The hot tub or second story balcony are perfect locations for the whole group to gather and enjoy.
