Great Villa all around. The views were breathtaking! I enjoyed the outdoor living space and privacy of the villa. Mario was on top of everything and communicated when needed right away.

There were a couple issues that the host was able to rectify. It was a very nice accommodation with great views. Was a little too cold to make use of the hot tub though.

Great location and views and sunsets just amazing - interesting driving from airport as mountain roads but the views are just amazing - take your time and enjoy them

Paradise on the earth

We hade wonderful 2 weeks here , great view ,sun,water. Very nice taverner within 10-25 minutes driving .The same with beautiful beaches ..but the best was att stay at home ( Villa Erofili !). .we will be back.

Wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location, nice accomodation, relaxing pool, and an endearing black and white cat that loves to have his belly rubbed. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have hot water at the main shower. We could get hot water out of all the other taps but for some reason couldn't get it out of the shower. There was a nice backup bathtub to use upstairs.

Location is very remote.

We believed the place was in Kissamos, but it was 40minutes away. There are no grocery stores or convenience stores anywhere near the location. Very remote, like camping.

Up to now we never had to answer to a review to any of our guests. But in your case in parricular, we cannot so the same. You reviewed a villa bacause you THOUGHT it was in kissamos. The exact location of the villa is shown in Vrbo, our website ,and we also sent you the exact coordinates through email but you never took the time read or answer. Thankfully you did not THOUGHT the villa was in Mykonos otherwise you would have rated with one star.

Gorgeous property near Lividia

Spacious, beautiful views, lovely pool, 3 different seating areas plus another higher level seating area with a hot tub. Rural. Need car, but only 10 mins to nearest taverna snd 20 mins to minimart other tavernas and Elafonisi beach. Unobtrusive manager, but there if you needed anything.

Nice stay nice place

We came in late at night after a long day. Not recommended if you have not been to crete before as the roads are unique and the place is a little off the beaten trail. Upon arrival we were greated to an amazing little care package and found everything we needed and more(water food wine). They put together a welcome folder with information for the area that was very useful. Communication with the property manager was simple and timely they are located on site to assist if needed. They even did a cleaning after 3 days which was much appreciated. We would highly recommend the Villa to anyone looking to get away from the busy city and be a little more remote yet still close to nice beaches and restaurants.

Wonderful and Relaxing

We absolutely loved our stay and enjoyed the villa with the amazing views and outdoor space. We were looking for a quiet and more remote location to relax and enjoy the views of the sea and the pool. The villa was very comfortable and we had all that we needed. We enjoyed having two separate bedrooms and bathrooms and the kitchen was great for our needs to cook. We did use the barbecue and swam in the pool daily. It is a 25 minute drive to Elafonisi Beach and we visited there twice, go early and beat the crowds to walk the beach, we arrived at 7:30am and left by 10am as it became very crowded. The villa is secluded, but that is what we enjoyed about it. We stopped at a supermarket in Kissamos for n our drive from the airport n Chania to get food and supplies. There is a small market on the way to Elafonisi Beach also that has a good amount of items. Would highly recommend this villa.

coy luxury, sublime ancient land-soothes the soul

PART 2: With that stage set, I must say Villa Erofili was absolutely incredible. The architecture is a blend of modern and traditional, and fits nicely with the landscape. The finishing work on the villa is superb. The kitchen is really wonderfully done and a joy to be in, even when you're on holiday and don't want to cook or anything. Upstair bedroom really feels like a romantic escape-the wood floor with a wonderful clear-coat finish oozes luxury, as does the picture window, and french doors that open to the upper patio (which I am told may have full hot-tub/jacuzzi installed outside, at some point [i think this would be THE BEST for sipping white wine and watching the sunset during a cool evening]). The jet-bathtub worked very well, plenty of VERY HOT water to fill it, and, relaxing design/shape to lay down in. Climate control AC/heat in upstairs and downstairs works flawlessly and quietly. All windows in the home are wonderful (super high quality) and open to let so much breeze and air through the entire villa. Again to stress, the building materials, fixtures, etc, are all luxurious. Other details: the pool we found a bit cold, but maybe due to the north wind and end of September. We found it refreshing to jump into for a few minutes after being in the ocean, or after getting hot from sunning ourselves. I bet it is perfect during hotter parts of the year. As the villa is new from 2011 a few small household items were needed, such as laundry soap, some food condiments (salt&pepper), coffee filters. I only mention because we sought these items out and they are really the only parts of our stay that cannot be described as 'utterly sublime'. I imagine after the first year and continued guests there will be even more things in place and we took care of the above so they are there for future guests already and I think will be stocked. We also gave some recommendations to Niko such as a small cooler to be available to take snacks to the beach, etc. I will conclude to say when we returned home, I didn't even realize just how much I'd relaxed while at Villa Erofili, until I noticed I hadn't counted a single calorie, had completely forgotten my debit card pin number (hadn't used it in europe), and just felt this deep sense of peace as I noticed the hectic lives of my co-workers and friends when we came home. Eine wundervolle Unterkunft mit traumhaftem Postkarten-Blick!Pool Whirlpool vom Feinsten,Drinnen wie draußen gepflegt und sauber!Küchenausstattung mehr als ausreichend.Unsere Frage/Bitte nach einem Wäscheständer (aufgrund von Regentagen war die Wäscheleine draussen nicht nutzbar ;-) ) wurde zeitnah umgesetzt.Die Kommunikation mit Mario klappte per WhatsApp unkompliziert.Wir hatten seeeeeehr erholsame 10 Tage in dieser Villa & können sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Soweit so gut.

Die Villa ist schön gelegen. Man sollte die Abgeschiedenheit sehr mögen. Der Pool hätte eine Grundreingung notwendig. Der Whirlpool konnte nicht wirklich genutzt werden, da die Temperatur auf max. 31 eingestellt werden konnte. Auch das WLAN fällt zeitweise aus, genau wie Teile der Stromversorgung. Das Wasser ist oft braun und kann für Kaffee, Tee etc. nicht genutzt werden. Fazit: Eigentlich eine schöne Villa mit Einschränkung und deshalb auch zu teuer. Mario hatte sich sehr um alle Angelegenheiten gekümmert.

La maison est tout à fait conforme à l’annonce. Bien équipée. Propre et avec une vue magnifique et imprenable sur la mer depuis le jacuzzi et la piscine. Très bon accueil de la part de Mario, l’hôte qui a été disponible et réactif. Il y a également une prestation de ménage dans la semaine. Seuls bémols, l’eau de la piscine était un peu fraîche. La mer était plus chaude. Et très peu d’activités commerces aux alentours

Ruhe und Erholung mit tollem Ausblick

2 schöne Wochen in einem tollen Haus! Für Ruhesuchende fernab vom Massentourismus ist diese Villa genau das Richtige. Nach einem entspannten Tag am Pool gab es jeden Abend einen tollen Sonnenuntergang. Service und Kommunikation hat perfekt geklappt! Danke Mario!

Erholung und Ruhe pur

Wir waren im Mai in dieser wundervollen Villa. Doch bevor man diesen unvergesslichen Blick von den Terrassen genießen kann fährt man die letzten 20 km über kurvige schmale Straßen. Diese Fahrten bleiben auch unvergessen, da sie Aussichten bieten die einem zum Anhalten bewegen (und die Ziegen auf der Straße ). Die Villa ist wie beschrieben und lässt keine Wünsche offen!!! Wir haben uns auf Anhieb wohlgefühlt. Falls Rückfragen bestanden war Mario steht‘s zur Stelle via Anruf oder What‘s App. Einfach Klasse!!! Mario bot ebenfalls an kleine Einkäufe zu tätigen (ohne Gebühr!) da er selbst die Strecke täglich aus Kissamos fährt. Das haben wir zwar nicht in Anspruch genommen, jedoch kannten wir so einen Service bisher nicht. Das Anwesen war sehr gepflegt und wir haben tagelang nur diesen Ausblick und die Sonnenuntergänge beobachtet. Empfehlen können wir die Taverna Gialites. Dort sind wir mehrmals zu Fuß eingekehrt und von Janis und dem Team sehr nett und gut bewirtet worden. Es besteht ebenfalls die Möglichkeit sich essen liefern zu lassen . Was will man mehr?! Zusammengefasst ein traumhafter und unvergesslicher Urlaub bei dem unsere Akku‘s wieder voll aufgeladen wurden.

Die Villa ist ein Traum.

Hier kann man die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit genießen. Traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge kann man hier von der Terrasse oder aus dem Pool, jeden Abend genießen. Danke an das Team !! Jeder Wunsch wurde sofort erfüllt. Probleme wurden beseitigt. Es hat alles gepasst.

Une vue époustouflante et des couchés de soleil magique!

Superbe villa avec une vue incomparable sur la mer et des couchés de soleil magique. La maison possède toutes les commodités requises et plus encore. Tout est pensé pour notre confort et on s'y sent bien. La personne de l'accueil est disponible et attentionnée. La maison est très grande. Les deux chambres sont très confortables. Il y a une chambre avec 2 lits simple au RDC et une chambre avec lit Queen à l'étage avec une terrasse magnifique et le spa. Les chambres sur 2 étages permettent à chacun d'avoir son intimité. Le salon de la villa s'ouvre avec des grandes portes fenêtres sur la terrasse avec la vue. Magique. Il y a plusieurs espaces extérieurs magnifiquement aménagés et la piscine est une gros plus. On a adoré nos soupers sur la terrasse au soleil couchant. Notez que la villa est dans un endroit assez isolé, à une vingtaine de minutes de taverne et de mini-market. Prévoir faire les courses dans un grand centre avant de vous y rendre. Les plages magnifiques plages de l'ouest, Elafonissi, Kendrodassos, Fallasarna sont entre 30 min et 1h15 de route de montagne, bien sinueuses. Toutefois les routes ont des vues imprenable sur la mer. Mais il faut être prêts à conduire pour s'y rendre. Si vous rêvez de tranquillité dans un endroit magnifique, n'hésitez pas!
