Vacation Home with private lake frontage- Great Summer or Fall Getaway!!

This vacation home is situated on the East side of Swan Lake, and offers a beautiful view of the lake, along with 100 feet of lake frontage. There are two bedrooms, both with queen size beds and spacious cedar closets. The home was completely renovated in 2016, to include an updated bathroom with a full size shower and generous storage for towels and bathroom supplies. The living room overlooks the lake, has a cozy propane fireplace and 43 inch Smart TV and wireless internet. The mudroom/entryway has a built in washer and dryer and comfy reclining love seat. The galley kitchen, which overlooks the lake, is fully equipped and the adjacent dining area comfortably seats 6. Cooking and eating utensils, as well as bed and bath linens are provided. Outside, there is a patio with lawn furniture a Weber gas grill, and the private lake frontage is accessible by stairs. There is a new 40 foot aluminum dock, and kayaks are available for use at your own risk. This rental has all the comforts of a year round home with breathtaking views from the house, outside patio and shore.
The home is less than 2 miles from a local grocery store, and just15 minutes from Belfast.

An excellent stay. The home has been beautifully renovated and is as comfortable as they come, and the property is on a surprisingly quiet lake. Excellent views of the sunset over the lake from the backyard. A perfect place to stay if visiting coastal Maine.

This is a beautiful property. The home is nicely appointed with lovely views. The kitchen is fully stocked with most anything one would need for cooking. The home is clean and inviting. Julie, the host, was considerate of my privacy when being responsive to needs and concerns. My September visit was peaceful. The water was refreshing for swimming. The calls of loons reminded me of why I loved this lake years ago. The nearby Swanville store is well stocked. My nephews enjoyed using the kayaks. There were personal flotation devices available. No need to go anywhere else if you're interested in a relaxing stay.

Very relaxing environment

Very well maintained property, exceptionally clean. Great view of the lake and a very quite location. A well stocked store was just a few minutes away. Short drive to a variety of restaurants and things to do.

Perfect setting!

My wife and I have been staying on Maine lakes for the past 20 plus years, this rental was the nicest we've ever stayed at! Julie was a fantastic host and responded immediately to any questions we had. The property is immaculate, The Yard, views of the lake and the sunsets were spectacular. We brought our boat, The docking accommodations were great as was the fishing! We will definitely return.

Clean and Comfortable

Rental was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The setting on the lake was beautiful. Good location for day trips to Bangor, Bar Harbor, and Camden. Julie was available and respectful of privacy at the same time. Beds were very comfy. Would definite recommend this rental.

Perfect Lakefront Retreat

A beautifil lakefront cottage which was absolutely perfect for our Maine getaway. Spotlessly clean, with plenty of space for four adults. Nice linens, bath & beach towels. Well equipped kitchen. Great space for outdoor dining, kayaks to use on the lake. Even in mid-September the lake water was warm enough for swimming. Great location for exploring Belfast/Camden/Rockport/ Rockland and Acadia. We are already talking about a return visit.

Maine Lake Vacation

Property was exceptionally maintained and clean. House was set up perfectly for our party of four. Kitchen was well stocked. Swan lake is crystal clear and many fish were caught from our kayaks. We brought our own kayaks but there were three provided that were in great condition. Photos do not do justice to the lake and the great sunsets from dock. Plenty of outdoor areas to sit and relax to enjoy lake. You also have wonderful views of water from living room.

Peaceful Lake house perfect for our family visit

Julie's lake house is very comfortable with great beds many comfy places to sit inside and out and spotlessly clean. The layout of the house worked well for our family of four. We had all we needed provided in the kitchen to enjoy our meals. On a rainy day we warmed up with the cozy fire and enjoyed the expansive living room windows on the lake. The many sitting areas on the property allowed one to enjoy the lake from many views. I took great joy in this. Fantastic property! Already planning a return trip next year.

Relaxing by the lake

We totally enjoyed our relaxing week by Swan Lake . Watching the loons and drinking coffee while the sun came up . Beautiful sunsets in the evening hours . Our host provided us with everything we needed . The place was like brand new clean . Definitely worth the stay . We plan on coming back soon . Short day trips to Belfast, Arcadia National Park and Bar Harbor along with endless coastal treasures . Great way to get the true feel of Maine . Not to mention eat lobster every day . Can’t get any better .

Everything great except Internet access

If you need internet access you will be very disappointed. We had to go to Dunkin Donuts every morning to have internet - not good because we were looking for a home to buy. It was frustrating and stressful. Julie tried to help, but the internet service provider said there was nothing they could do to improve it. Other than that, it was immaculate, very comfortable bed, living room furniture beautiful and comfortable, beautiful sunsets, fantastic shower. If you don't need internet service, then I recommend this place.

This was an excellent, beautiful, and peaceful stay with everything you want and need. The house is truly lovely, the view and nature is stunning, and you are so well-stocked it feels like home. Julie was very communicative and kind. This is an expensive stay, but it was wonderful.

We were very happy with our stay and would make every effort to stay here again in the future. The property was as advertised. It was like being in our own lake cabin. It was very comfortable with much more room than a hotel room.1. Very clean and very quiet. Little lake traffic in late Sept.2. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, flatware, pots and pans, etc. Large bathroom. Great shower.3. Two sizable bedrooms large living room. 4.Sizable outdoor space and beach front.5.We lucked out and had one rainy day and 6 days of spectacular weather.THANK YOU Julie

The lakehouse was magnificent! Julie has done a wonderful job creating a nice, low-key space for anyone looking to just escape for some peace and quiet. Direct access to the lake and a couple kayaks, a propane grill, and a TV for when it rains... you don't need anything else. It was our first time to Maine, so we did much more exploring than lakehouse hanging. Next time, it's going to be all lakehouse, all the time.

Julie made everything so easy. What a great host. It was lovely spot. We heard loons and saw beautiful sunsets and had a wonderful week! I would love to stay again! Everything you needed was in the kitchen, sharp knives and pots and pans and general dishes. It was a great experience. I highly recommend it!

The rental was far better than the pictures can show. The owner was very attentive and is also the person that takes care of all the decorating, cleaning, and maintenance and it shows. The weather cooperated as well so the added lake frontage with dock came in handy when swimming, floating, and kayaking. Swanville is a nice area with a little grocery store at the end of the lake with anything you may need or forgot to bring. 30-40 minute drives in any direction and you're enjoying the other small towns in the area and what they have to offer.

Long weekend stay

Was very clean. We unfortunately didn’t have good weather, but was able to enjoy some downtime with tv, puzzles, and games. Short trip into Belfast to shop. The only negative was not having a fire pit outside.

This property is well taken care of,beds were comfy and the Loons were present. Owner was very nice and checked if everything was good.Lake is very nice. It is a little out of way of attractions, Would recommend to anybody.

Peaceful and relaxing central location

It is a great location!. We ventured out a couple hours in all directions and covered all of our "must sees". The location is quiet, peaceful and clean. The hosts are wonderful. I highly recommend!

Fantastic stay

Four of us stayed for a few nights in mid-September. The house is wonderful - exactly as described and pictured, very clean and has plenty of space. The outdoor area is well kept with plenty of parking, seating and a great view. We were lucky with the weather, for September, so we were able to go swimming in the lake and use the provided kayaks, which were great fun! One of the three kayaks is a double, and there were four life jackets, so all four of us were able to get out on the lake at the same time! We also saw a couple of beautiful sunsets across the lake. Julie was a fantastic host - excellent communication, easy-to-follow instructions and it was great to meet her briefly when she stopped by. I would definitely recommend this lake house.

Sweet getaway

The home and property are amazing! We’ve stayed at several rentals and this one is at the top. It’s clean, well maintained, stocked with the essentials and super relaxing I Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Belfast area.

I love Maine, especially in the summertime and have owned property on the lake for over 40 years. As a child, I couldn't wait for summer, to spend the summer at Swan Lake, with my family. Swan Lake is a great location for water activities and I especially enjoy watching for eagles, loons and the sunsets are just gorgeous!
