Beautiful Swan Lake Maine and Mid Coast Region!!!

A spacious 2100 sq. ft. two-story home with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths with the best view of beautiful Swan Lake. Hear the call of the loons in the mornings on the flat as glass lake. The eagles frequently survey the lake from a large oak tree located on the property. Swimming can be done from the private beach or dock in the clear spring fed waters , or ocean activities are 10 minutes away. Three queen beds, one king bed. Home just freshly painted, hardwood installed on the second story and hardwood floors on the main level refinished. Huge eat in kitchen that will accommodate 8 people around the beautiful farm table with additional seating at the bar. Cozy sitting room with lake view where you can drink your coffee in the mornings and watch the sun rise. Spacious family room with a 65" smart tv and plenty of seating. Washer and dryer available. The view of the lake is stunning in the morning and evening, you just can't get any better than this. Swanville Grocery is 2.2 miles away, Monroe Country Store is 5.7 miles and Belfast ( which is on the coast) is 10 miles. Lots of good shopping and restaurants located in Belfast. Camden Maine is 40 minutes away and Bar Harbor is 1 1/2 hour trip. If you're looking for a wonderful place to relax, whether its in the summer, spring, fall or winter, this is the place. Rental price is based on 4 occupants, additional charge per person up to 10. Two to seven minimum night stay depending on the time of year. Home has hot water heat and also 6 mini split air conditioning/heat units throughout the house. Fans are also provided. There is always a good breeze off the lake that keeps the house cool in the summers. Its a perfect setting. There is free WiFi and a ROKU television There is no satellite or cable. Bring your own device if other than ROKU, so you can live stream. Streaming is not always good on the tv's depending on the demand on the system. Computer usage is usually better.

Close to Belfast, beautiful shallow entry, clear water. Very close to neighbors so if privacy is an utmost concern that’s worth considering. But we didn’t mind at all, and appreciated all the space and watercraft provided.

Being on Swan Lake was a balm for my soul. I’m not sure I’ve ever stayed anywhere more peaceful. Providence on the Lake offers exceptional sunrise views. This was my family’s first visit to Maine and this home provided the perfect base for our explorations but was also so comfortable and offered so much to do with kayaking on the lake that we wished we had built in more down time just to hang out at the house. Lisa was the perfect hostess, too, offering lots of advice and suggestions on where to visit and eat in the area. 10/10. Would definitely visit again!

Perfect Getaway

This is the perfect location that is peaceful and feels remote, but is only a short ride from town and several fabulous restaurants. It is also the perfect base to visit other Maine locations like Acadia National Park Maine, Bar Harbor, and Camden.

Perfect lake house

This is our second time staying at this property and it was a wonderful as before. Comfortable beds and amenities to make us feel right at home. Lake views were awesome too!

Amazing Maine Vacation

Our entire stay was perfect. Lisa was very attentive to our requests and made it very personable. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene, gorgeous spot on Swan Lake.

An Unforgettable Stay on Swan LakeIt is hard to fully capture how wonderful our stay was—quite frankly, any other lake house is going to fall short in comparison! We stayed with our teenage daughter and niece, and the setup could not have been more perfect.The house itself was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-thought-out, offering plenty of room whether we wanted quiet solo time or space to gather around the dining table for cards. The mini-split ACs in every room kept us completely comfortable, and the covered front deck meant we could still sit outside and enjoy the peaceful sound of the rain.Out on the water, Swan Lake was warm and clear. The girls spent hours on the floating dock, and we all made great use of the brand-new kayaks, floats, provided life jackets, and walkout dock. Back on shore, the new Adirondack and lounge chairs were super comfortable for relaxing by the large fire pit, and the outdoor shower was a lovely bonus after a day in the lake. The grill worked flawlessly, and the property grounds are simply stunning.The location hits the sweet spot: it feels totally secluded, yet it's just 15 minutes to Hannaford for groceries and only 10 minutes from a hidden local waterfall. To top it off, communication with the host was top-notch from start to finish.We will absolutely be back in the future. Thank you for an incredible stay!

Excellent place for families

Super clean, well furnished house with beautiful yard and walk in beach. Perfect for adult families and two infants. Host (Lisa) was a joy to work with and ensured we had a pleasant stay. Everyone enjoyed themselves, even if the Maine weather didn't cooperate. Highly recommended!

Beautiful summer get away

Very roomy lake side home with perfect beach for children, large well equipped kitchen. Beautiful front lawn for family enjoyment. Prompt owner response with all questions. An overall wonderfully pleasant stay and we hope to return sometime.

Wonderful

This lake house was perfect for our gathering. The kitchen was so well equipped to feed an extended family. The beach enabled easy use of the kayaks and canoe. The living space was generous and comfortable. The bedrooms were ample.0ver all, the rental was the best we have ever had

Perfect getaway…

Our second time spending a summer week here, private beach, beautifully landscaped, tucked in a cozy spot on the lake. The new dock is beautiful, the kids love swimming to the float, and what beautiful shoreline to kayak. Lots of loons, great fishing, and a gorgeous home for rainy weather. We will be back ASAP!

We had an amazing time. Caught bass off the dock, watched the muskrat family play, and loved the kayaks and canoe. The outside shower was a big hit. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything you could need from a double waffle iron to a lobster steamer with all the necessary tools for your lobsta feast. Access to nearby attractions was very easy if you want to spend some time at the coast or visiting the cute harbor towns. Don't forget to crack the windows at night so you can hear the Loons!

Heaven on Earth!

To say the pictures do not do this lovely home justice is an understatement. It is the perfect vacation spot that is centrally located to everything Maine has to offer. The home is well-stocked, gorgeous, inside and out, as is incredible Swan Lake. Lisa is absolutely wonderful and communication was immediate. We were sad to leave at the end of our stay but cannot wait to return next year.

Lovely and serene lake house

This was the perfect lake place to host our adult children and grandchildren. The house was spacious and tastefully decorated and the pictures don’t do it justice - we loved the family room and the bedrooms overlooking the water. The beach was great for the children and the lake views were beautiful. Our family loved the outdoor shower! Lisa was great to work with, and we appreciated her responsiveness and hospitality. Looking forward to staying again.

Summer of 2021

Our family vacation at Swan Lake was perfect! We had perfect hot weather to enjoy the lake. Spent most of of our week relaxing on the lake, swimming, fishing & boating. The house was extremely clean & had everything you need. On a quiet dead end road, we saw three eagles & a family of loons on the lake. Short ride into beautiful Belfast & Camden.

Beautiful!

This was our second year vacationing in Swanville and it was like going home. The home and the lake are just the perfect setting for a relaxing time away. There is nothing like waking up to Swan Lake. Although there are some boats on the lake, it is quiet and allows for fantastic kayaking. You never feel as if it is crowded. The home is very well stocked and very well cared for. Thank you, Lisa and Bill, for another wonderfully memorable summer!

Great place!!!

We had a wonderful time. Everything was great, including the tote with the lobster supplies. The only negative was that we didn’t like the idea of paying extra per person. That is usually assumed with a bigger house that there will be more guest. We would love to stay again though. Thank you. Derick

The perfect getaway

This lake home is perfect: semi-secluded area but a quick drive to delicious restaurants, shopping, and perfect coastal towns. You can see it all around here- lakes, beaches, mountains, farms. Peaceful, quiet, great star-gazing! AMAZING view, right on the lake! The house is spotlessly clean, comfortably decorated, and very spacious with a nice, large kitchen to cook in! Anything you could need for your trip is here. We loved fishing and kayaking right off the dock and enjoying the fire pit every night. The host is the sweetest and very quickly responsive. Super easy process for checking in and out. I wouldn’t hesitate at all on this beauty!

Loony

We don’t consider we are on vacation in Maine until we hear a loon. One was there when we arrived! Saw a raft of 13 loons!!! A very lovely home. Waterfront is perfect. Sandy and gradual entry. Steps available to get there. The only thing we felt was missing was an outside table and chairs/ picnic table as we like being outside. Nice set up inside and outside shower was a special treat.

Lake Living at its Best

Lisa and William's home is very special, . As shown in the VRBO listing, each room is very nicely furnished and there is plenty of space for guests to gather, inside and out. The personal touches of the chosen decor and all the amenities were greatly appreciated. We loved sitting around the firepit, sharing meals and games in the dining room and the well-stocked kitchen . Swan Lake is a spring fed treasure and the home has a really nice size sandy beach. This is a great home base for touring the Mid-Coast. Everything was thought of for us to have a great stay. With thanks to our hosts!
