Perfect location!

Property was located centrally for easy day trips to Sienna, Pisa and Florence. House was spacious and easily accommodated our party of 2 couples and 2 singles. Maurizio was very quick to respond to concerns or needs. All of his recommendations were spot on. Would recommend to others.

Fantastic, peaceful, hillside location

We loved our stay in this lovely little hamlet on top of a picturesque hillside surrounded by small vineyards and olive groves. Very peaceful, vey spacious, with beautifully manicured grounds with a large pool. There were 6 of us and we all loved it. The owner Maurizio Pescarini was very responsive as were the couple who manage the property. Definitely recommend it as a base to explore all of Tuscany!

The first week my children who live in Chicago and California joined me for a family reunion. After they left two friends came so spend the second week. Everyone loved the villa in spite of a few hiccups. All minor issues and Maurizio responded immediately to resolve them. For example the last week was unseasonably cold but it seems there is a law in Italy that you can't turn on furnaces until Nov 1, so he immediately sent over two heaters which solved the problem. In response to a review that mentioned the villa was quirky, I would describe it as having immense character. I loved the thick stone walls and timbers and the fact that there wasn't a piece of dry wall anywhere. The outside area is the best part but unfortunately didn't get to take advantage of the pool. However the sunsets were AMAZING and we saw one every night.

Nous avons passé 11 nuits dans la villa de Maurizio. La villa est bien agencée pour deux familles, la cuisine est très bien équipée. Les extérieurs sont très beaux et Maurizio a toujours été disponible pour régler nos soucis. En revanche 3 salles de bain auraient besoin d’être rénovées. La literie des lits doubles mériterait d’être changée. Nous avons aussi rencontré quelques problèmes de puissance électrique car nous avions une Voiture électrique et la puissance de la maison ne permettait pas de charger la voiture mettre les ventilateurs et mettre en route l’arrosage automatique. Sinon nous avons passé un très bon séjour et la région est magnifique. pas

Thank you for your visit Magali and for your feedbacks. Just to provide full information to other future guests: the bathrooms do not need any renovation as they have been renewed in 2017 and everything works properly. In case of need you could have contacted us as we are always available to assist with a team on site. On electriciy the house has 6kw which is more than enough to provide energy to various tools (e.g.: pool pump, washing machine, ventilators etc). There is no reason to charge an electric car (at my cost, by the way, which should not be the case) while all the rest of tools are functioning. Just good common sense, no rocket science. Vue somptueuse sur le Chianti

La maison est idéalement placée mais un peu trop biscornue. La déco est un peu triste. Certains équipements (bac de douche) n’étaient pas en état de fonctionnement. Mais le calme et la vue two t des atouts remarquables.

Dear David, thank you for your stay and your feedbacks. Just to precise better your statements which I found very “funny” The house is not quirky at all and it corresponds exactly to the plans published on VRBO, no more no less. There is a wide groundfloor with living room, dining room, kitchen, reading room and bathroom. The rooms are 4 (all with their en suite bathrooms): 3 of them are on left side of the first floor house while the master bed room is on a the right separate private side. Both sides are of course accessible from the living room. The decoration of the house is a well balanced mix of modern and Tuscany countryside style. Also this very well visible from photos and no more no less what my guests will find in the house. I would strongly suggest you to read (possibly with glasses) announcements and look at photos before reserving. Or at least to contact me during your stay (and not stay silent to leave a feedback afterwards which is not my style) so me and my staff - that leave half an hour from the house - can intervene and do whatever we can to make our guest experience memorable and pleasant.

Lyxig villa med många badrum

Vi var två familjer som bodde en vecka i det fantastiska huset. Huset var bättre i verkligheten! Rent och fräscht! Härlig pool! Porslin som passade till storfamilj. Minus på att det var mörkt vid uteplatsen. Ett tips är att ha ljusslingor över matplatsen för trevnad, kanske en pergola. Ett annat tips som kommer generera mera lyx är vita sängkläder. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hus!

Beautiful view, garden and house!

We spent three weeks in Maurizios beautiful house and we loved our stay! The house is so nice with a lot of space booth indoors and outdoors. The kitchen is great for a larger family/group, we loved cooking there. The house is beautifully situated on top of a 'colle' with a wonderful view over the landscape. The nearby village Radda in Chianti is a really nice tuscan village with most of what you need. There are lots of nice routes for bicycling, highly recommended! The house is in a very central spot in Tuscany and that makes it easy to visit many interesting places; historic, wine, food, cheese and cashmere-goats! Maurizio is a nice host and he was opened to/for the special situation with Covid when we didn't know if we would be able to go. He 'walked an extra mile' with our booking. Maurizio is easy to get in contact with and he is very friendly! We will certainly come back! Annica Sjödin

Très belle demeure, très beau panorama, très calme!

Nous étions 4 adultes et 4 ados et nous avons passés un très agréable séjour. La situation géographique, à quelques Km de Radda est idéale, le petit hameau est calme mais pas trop isolé. La villa est idéalement située sur le haut d'une colline, avec une vue dégagée à presque 180°, sur un paysage de vignes, de champs d'olivier et de forêt. L’aménagement extérieure est très jolie avec une terrasse en plein milieu idéale pour l’apéritif du soir, couché de soleil en direct garanti! La piscine est très bien, plein soleil toute la journée. La maison est très grande, bien équipée, chambres et SdB spacieuses. Cuisine bien équipée. Je recommande.
