House was clean and comfortable and the place was even better than the pictures online. Stunning views and a great location to explore the many beautiful towns in the area.

We've stayed on two previous occasions at La Bagnaie, but not at this particular villa. The reviews don't really do it justice. It was well furnished, fanatically located with views across Tuscany to San Gimignano, and with every necessary bit of information provided in advance. Jacky, the manager who we have met on two previous occasions, called in and along with the host, was her usual very welcoming self. Jacky even managed to engage Serena to cook for us one night, a delightful, very talented local chef who we would highly recommend, if you can get her! Not one of us could think of any way in which our way could be improved.

Fantasy vacation

The house was perfect. We were a family of 7 and it was perfect. The gardens and property are stunning. The views are too. The pool was life saver because we experienced hot temps.

Stunning view and comfortable home like experience

You will love the views. The pool looked amazing even though the temperature was to cool to use it in the beginning of April. Location is close to a village with highly rated restaurant options. Great access to Siena, Florence, and San Gimignano.

Family Vacation

Beautiful home that was well appointed and very clean. The views were spectacular and the location was convenient for sightseeing. The landlord and other guests were very friendly and gave great advice on restaurants and places to visit. We had Serena come in and cook for us twice and they were tow of the best meals we had in Italy!

Wonderful home in the heart of Tuscany!

This home was perfect for our family vacation in Tuscany! We are a group of 8 adults. The home was very comfortable and true to the listing. Would definitely return!

Wonderful villa with spectacular views

We absolutely loved Anne’s gracious house, which was spacious and well appointed. Thoughtful amenities and a well equipped kitchen helped us cook some great meals, and the surrounding countryside provided plenty of hill villages and restaurants and walks. We felt we could have spent a month here. Thanks to the host!

This property has magical views and so much outdoor and patio space with beautiful gardens and shrubs. Three choices of outdoor dining spaces and each seats eight people. This is our second time here and we love it. Pool is wonderful with more fantastic views. Wonderful catering available with charming Serena. She made gluten free meals for our group. Thank you Annie for all your help!

An Unforgettable Chianti Escape in the heart of Chianti was nothing short of magical.If you're looking for an authentic, luxurious, and truly relaxing Tuscan getaway, look no further. It feels wonderfully secluded and peaceful, yet it's just a short drive to charming hilltop towns like Greve in Chianti, Panzano, and Castellina in Chianti.You can easily explore local wineries, enjoy delicious meals at some fabulous restaurants. The communication with Annie and Paul was excellent and we're looking forward to planning our next stay!

The outside area and views are really what makes this villa so special and unique. Once you get used to the quite tricky dirt track (10 mins long and dont come in a sports car!) You feel more relaxed. We were scared to go out after arriving. You cant just nip to a shop or restaurant so be prepared to drive everywhere. Night time driving is an adventure, we saw a wild boar and a giant porcupine on our treks. The villa was very hot especially in the south facing bedrooms so keep the shutters closed. We had a heatwave so struggled at night sleeping. The villa is very rustic and feels quite dark but that is the character. You really sit outside 95% of the time as it is simply stunning. The table with the arch window was where we ate, played cards and chatted by candlelight. Superb. Take binoculars for star gazing as there us zero light pollution so you can see everything. Book Serena to cook at least once, and dont leave any food or she will make you eat it haha. That was one of our best nights. Must seesSan Gimignano and Siena our top 2. The sentier Elsa trail out side colle val D'elsa is stunning. Waterfalls and turquoise pools. Google it before you go its 30 mins away. Book a wine tour at Frattoria Pomona with Monica if you can. She is fabulous. If you want to see Florence go at 8am. We got there too late to park anywhere snd sat in traffic for over an hour. We gave up. Montepulciano is worth a visit too. All in all 10/10 holiday

What a fantastic property!

Photos will never capture the feeling and vistas of this property! This is a beautiful house with unbelievable views! The cherry on the top included 2 wonderful dinners cooked by Serena. A week wasn’t enough!

Outstanding villa

We had the most amazing time in an outstanding villa with stunning views and sunsets. The villa is spacious and very comfortable, plenty of areas to eat outside, a large shared swimming pool that was never busy and beautifully tended gardens. Honestly the best villa we have stayed in. Perfect for 6 to 8 people and everything you need provided to cook in or bbq. It’s a 10 minute drive down a dirt track but worth it! Great villages nearby and close to Siena and Florence (1 hr by car). Thank you Anna and Paul

Terrific house and setting

This is a beautiful, lovingly maintained house and garden, set on the top of a hill with the most beautiful views (we loved the clear views of San Gimignano skyline in the morning). Huge pool, lots of walking tracks, and many villages and towns to visit nearby. What’s not to like?

Lovely property set in scenic area, for sure you need a car, the property is good 10 mins down a dirt track before you get to main road, to be aware. Apart from that perfect place and property manager was super helpful, thanks

Authentic Tuscany Experience

First let me say Anne and Paul are great hosts. Having an additional onsite manager is a bonus. We were six adults and two young children. We were comfortable with bedrooms for all. Love having a king size bed. Sitting outside with a glass of wine watching the sun set over the vineyards is how we ended each day.

Spacious beautiful home with fantastic views

Very relaxing stay. Dirt/rocky road leads up to villa which made it a little tricky at night…especially when GPS had trouble locating. In the end, it worked out for the best, we would get back before dark and cook which saved money and allowed more family time together. Beautiful sunset photos too! Kitchen has everything you need to cook.

Takes your breadth away

Ths whole experience lives up to all expectations. Annie was very helpful throughout the process and the house and property are like the photos. We all joked that we did not need to go see other views because we had the best view in Tuscany in our backyard! The property is very tranquil and centrally located for day trips. The house worked well for our group of 7 and we look forward to returning!

The house and its surroundings were absolutely beautiful. There was lots of room and the house was very clean. The grounds were immaculate. The pictures don’t do the place any justice! You will be in awe. We had Serena cook for us one evening and if I could do it again, I would have asked her to cook multiple evenings. The food was fantastic and it was so nice and relaxing to have her cook for you while you just enjoy the atmosphere and a glass of wine.We were two families with 4 adults and 4 children and the place was perfect.We would not hesitate to book this house again and would stay even longer next time.
